    Off the top of my head, Reed, Frazier, Monroe, Bradley, Debusherre(?) does ring a bell. But, no, not a fan, but a Knicks/Celtics series would take me back to teen fandom. Willis Reed was one of those great ‘70’s centers that could go toe to toe with them all.

    Bird, along with Earvin Johnson, helped rekindle basketball interest after the league slogged through the ‘70’s. Then Jordan set it on fire for good. The NBA is huge globally, their next set of TV contracts will be NFL’ish like.

    Rather see Altuve in April than March, but yeah, I believe there’s a lot of country pride for many of these guys playing. At least it’s baseball still, not the all-star nonsense variant displayed in the NFL, NHL or even the NBA all-star game.
