Liked him when drafted...like him now. Hes a guy that can absolutely be the face of a franchise. Hes got everything you want. It was his first game and it was be no means perfect but he has time..let's give it to him.

And how do you not accept it? By coming on a message board? There is zero we can do about it. It sucks im not saying it doesnt and the constant rebuild is getting old. Both whether we accept it or not doesnt mean a thing...we dont run the team. All a fan can do is decide not to spend money on the product.

After the first game i think most of is expected it. All signs point to its gonna be a rough year. Hopefully Allen continues to improve and we have at least something to hang our hats on

Well said. Allen did miss some throws but i liked that he was going threw his progressions and always looking downfield. Allen needs a true number 1 that he can build long term chemistry with. He is also in about as bad of a situation as a rookie QB can be right now bit he doesnt look like a deer in headlights. Will he be great?? I dont know but im encouraged so far.

Just re watched parts of the game and really liked somethings about Allen. He was going threw his progressions and eyes always downfield. Yes it wasnt perfect..when he had time he seemed a little tentative at times but that could have been cause his recievers were all covered...cant see the whole field on TV. This kid has very little to work with and still put up 245 yards. And eventhough he under threw that deep ball to Zay he was still able to make a play on the ball. Nice to see the long bomb again. We need to go get him a true number one target...someone he can build chemistry with and trust. And of course some olineman.

I agree 100% there. This team will need to make a huge leap next year. They literally have everything lined up. Cap money...lots of picks and possible a very high one..and a QB.
