You & Tom should show up a one of the Lot 1 Pole 5 parties before a home game and talk to the TBD people ... While listening to the various reasons why many of them don't bother with PP&P any more, you might get a new perspective on "lemmings"... - - Nonetheless, I actually enjoy locking horns with the know-it-all, blowhard chat room commandos. So here I am ... - - So tell me ... Did the soldier who shot the unarmed injured prone guy get his medal yet?

Great comeback! Lisa wanted to know why I'm laughing out loud here in the den. As much as I love Rod, you got me! -
Trade HENRY and MOULDS for MOSS

We're potentially a year away from being a conference Championship game team... There's NO WAY we want to soil the mix with Moss. Sorry. Absolutely not. -

Maybe it isn't the hand signal that makes them think he's evil. Maybe they're just paying attention to what's happening in Iraq ... -

Mine's always been Every Picture Tells A Story ... Rod Stewart. As old as it is, it grabs you by the balls in the first line & doesn't let go. -

45. Bills fan since '68. Yeah, I got hooked when I was nine. It's worse than heroin, man. Worst addiction episode, 1993. I was months behind on the rent, and driving a ten year old car with well over a hundred grand on the odo. So what did I do? Naturally, I went to Pasadena to attend the Super Bowl. (*sigh*) Like I said... worse than heroin, man. -

I honestly believe that Muhammed was the "false prophet" Jesus warned of. Also, I agree with the earlier post... If I hear one more Muslim call theirs a "peaceful religion" I'll throw up. Just the news out of Iraq in one DAY seems to dispell that. -
The Colts are going to go nto New England next week and win. I am opening my offshore account todaY JUST TO BET THIS ONE GAME.

---Man, did the 2004 Bills ever manage to cram a roller-coaster ride into a season or what?!?! Here's some season finale observations from the tunnel end ... - -- Love the fact that our guys set an NFL record for fewest points allowed in a quarter over a season ... The Bills outscored teams 80 - 12 in the third quarter this year. That means the coaches are making good adjustments. And, in terms of the team's attitude & on-field character, I think that bodes well for the next few years with the core we've now assembled. - -- Willie Parker? The guy was fourth string, an undrafted rookie for God's sake. I hereby take back previous references to an "elite defense," but do maintain the right to point out that turnovers and defensive scores are as much a part of the measure of an elite deense as are late game, playoffs-on-the-line, at home, complete wiltings in the wave of third and fourth string players. - -- McGahee for Rookie Of The Year. I know, I know ... second year player. This one's from the heart, not the brain. Let's start an unofficial movement to name him Rookie Of The Year just for coming back from that knee. Special circumstances. The whole country saw it... his last college play. In my mind and in the hearts of probably a few of you, he was Rookie Of The Year. - -- I was talking to a Steelers fan on the Thruway last night. I said, "You bastards ruined our playoff party!" He said, "You couldn't beat our scrubs!" After talking some football, we had a laugh that the Buffalo fans this year couldn't even say "Oh, well, now I can start going to Sabres games..." - -- Thanks to everyone at Lot One, Pole Five for the cold beers and the good times talking football before home games! I assumed foolishly that being a fan since '68 I'd seen it all, but the wedding in the parking lot was incredible. I guess it's time to start analyzing the draft. Happy New Year!

Count me there. Harvey too. See you guys at Lot 1, Pole 5 ! -
My steadfast football companion Harvey ("Albany,n.y.") and I will be stopping by LOT 1, POLE 5, prior to the Browns game. If you or anyone in your travelling party needs a ticket - and you're pretty sure they won't do anything to cost me my first row season tix - then we have an extra seat. No charge, free to a good home. Section 219, Row 1, with me & Harv. See you guys Sunday!

Now we're shooting unarmed, injured enemy combatants? I can't WAIT to hear Bush's lawyers turn this one into a perfectly acceptable act according to their 'interpretation' of the articles of the Geneva Convention. I saw the video ... both versions. Sickening. Apparently even the right-wing, hawk whacko's who make up most of the regulars in PPP (and provide at least one 'moderator' as well) aren't too thrilled about it either. Or, at least, they seem silent on the matter. But I must comment. Yes, you all know I hate this war already. But THIS takes it to a new low. The silence from the hawks in here is deafening ... that's why I'm posting this. When I post ... on ANYTHING, at ANY TIME ... I know I can count on an Alaska Dimwit or a DiCkless Tom response in seconds. Bring it, boys ...

Anybody want to bet me a week's pay that Shaquille's father isn't riding him that hard when he's doing his algebra homework? Or writing an essay for a good chunk of his English grade? That's the true tragedy of youth sports, especially in our schools. These kids don't realize there is about a ten million times greater chance that they'll earn their living writing, calculating, analyzing, or building things than earning a living throwing, kicking, or catching a ball. You SHOULD get that from your father ... A week's pay says this poor Shaquille kid isn't. Sad ... -

Losman is a year removed from college... - and that was TULANE, for Christ's sake!" - - DAVIS: "Yeah, and how's your boy Drew DOIN', huh?" - - HEYWOOD: "Why, you son-of-a..." - -

TWO THINGS: The post-game picked up on it, so it must've been obvious. And if Eric Moulds can give chase, so can a first-year player ... -
I can't take this any more. They had a chance today to beat a hurting team - one with Kyle Boller at quarterback, too. (Did you know he's younger than Roethlisberger? It's true ... by five months.) And as hard as I cling to my "Drew ain't done" philosophy, today was pathetic. Murph got it right on the pre-game show ... this was a game they could've built on ... We could've been 2-4 going into two straight home games. But Drew came out looking aweful ...

I don't agree with Darin that it's a "witch hunt" ... A young woman got shot in the face with a "non-lethal charge" for no apparant reason. She died shortly thereafter. If some @sshole cop doesn't have to answer for THAT, then I'm not sure WHAT we can hold them accountable for... -

Sixty-one ... the yards Willis had rushing in the fourth quarter. And 13:22 ... the time of possession for the Bills in said fourth quarter. The next Gale Sayers has arrived.
