True, and maybe a poor choice of words on my part. Maybe more like no fear of the running game so just focus on the pass. But if you're playing the Bill's, I think the thought is, don't get into a shootout and try to outscore them. Make the Bill's drive the field and hold them in the redzone. Just like we used to think when we played KC. Our backs have what, 4.5-4.6 speed? No fear of really breaking loose for 50+ yards. I don't recall the last time someone mentioned we were playing against a 7-8 man box... Maybe since Shady was here? Nothing really drawing the LB'S up, so even the middle doesn't seem to be open anymore. So, yeah, maybe there is a tell or something and we need to mix things up more. More pitches, jet sweeps or misdirection plays to open the middle up a little for the shallow crossing routes or quick in routes. I am ALL FOR getting Lil Dirty more involved in the offense. Heck, I guess if I knew the answers I wouldn't be watching the games on TV. 😉

I don't think it matters. Unless were in the redzone, I don't think anyone cares if we run. Looks to me like everyone just plays the pass and the way our oline is, gets to the RB anyways.

Kind of tells me we have a decent scouting team, maybe not so much on the evaluation team or coaching staff. Seems like whoever is chosing the players is rating experience higher than potential and talent. Takes less work to coach someone with experience (laziness). I think McDermott puts too much trust in his staff and allows each to make their own decisions. He needs to take control. Just my opinion though.

No. I think McDermott being a defensive minded coach, he just lets Daboll do his thing and has too much trust in him.

I am a BIG Mckensie fan. I agree he should be used much more on O. I think Daboll has lost his way. I think McDermott needs to pull a Gibbs and smack him on the back of the head. (NCIS reference)😉.

I am not a big Daboll fan. He seems to have no concept or any plan for a running game, but even I don't think this is all on him. I do however blame the OL coach. I hinted to it the other day, 3 different players at guard, none better than the next?? I don't think Daboll and Johnson are on the same page. I think he needs to go.

Not saying we should or should not, but watching GMFB and I believe I've heard in the past numerous times OBJ is liked by the players. Would/could he be a replacement for Sanders next season? Would it be worth bringing him in and getting a good look to finish this season and then determine things going forward? Could we/would we even ponder this as a possibility? Especially if he clears waivers...

I'll go out on a limb and say WFT puts in a claim for OBJ. They need help. They have CAP space, high enough on the waiver list. Rivera has dealt with the likes of Steve Smith (talk about Diva). Back to the NFCE, will change storylines for weeks.... I'd say Saints if he makes it that far or past waivers. Don't think the Raiders, they may need to let things calm down out there and may be looking to reduce the drama.
