A rookie in pre season and one snap doesn't seem like a fair way to judge him (or any player). At least he has the physical attributes to play LT. Bates is a backup G/C at best in my opinion.
-
We are going to to use one snap to judge a player? How did Hart do? I didn't say Doyle should be the starter going forward. I said given the choice between Bates and Doyle, I go Doyle. RAS may mean little, but I think he's physically better than Bates and maybe Johnson hasn't ruined him yet.😉
-
Evidence for a preference?🤔. I prefer not to make multiple changes on the line. Given the choices, I prefer Doyle over Bates. Obviously I would prefer Dawkins. But again, given a choice between Bates and Doyle I'll go with Doyle to start.
-
If Dawkins is a no go. Hart is not an option. I would prefer not moving Brown and Williams. Leave the right side alone. Feliciano at LG. I'll go with Doyle. Give him some help if needed with Gilliam, Knox and Moss.

Leslie Frazier's interview Monday 12/13
LyndonvilleBill replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think along the same line. Just something about face to face instead of a phone. I know there was debate a year or so back about Daboll in the box versus sideline. McDermott can get face to face with Frazier and they can adjust. I think it's time to get Daboll back on the sideline to get that game time, face time with Josh as well as to get McDermott side by side with Daboll. I want to see McDermott get in the grill of Daboll and Frazier during the game if/when adjustments are needed. Not wait until halftime. Anyone know how many offensive play callers are on the sideline versus the box? -
[Misleading Title] Dion Dawkins to Covid list

I believe you are correct as to his play in Tennessee, but if I remember correctly when he was here, not so good... Coaching? Scheme? -

So is Hart in my opinion. 🙄 -

Rather see Doyle, Feliciano, Morse, Williams, Brown instead of changing both sides. Could always put Knox there to help if needed or Moss/Gilliam. Josh is better going to the right. Don't make it worse by changing the right side too.🤔 -
Captain Caveman is this week's Nostradamus of the Game...

Vontae Davis. Hey, he retired as a Bill..🤣 -
I actually thought he retire (quit) before getting canned. Perfect landing spot for Daboll. Can I volunteer him as the Jags next HC?🙏

A Breakdown of the Failed Fake Punt vs the Buccaneers
LyndonvilleBill replied to HoofHearted's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would this be McDermott or Special teams coordinator play design? Does McDermott call the play or does he just say let's fake the punt and they have a play they call?🤔 -
Week 14 Gameday Bills at Buccaneers Pregame thread

Awesome. Lil Dirty in!!! https://images.app.goo.gl/oDp99JW3gReHihKB8 -
Not sure what you said has to do with his comfort zone, but I won't really disagree with what you said. Well, with the exception of Breida. Not really sure why people are so hight on him. I don't see any real increased performance in the offense when he is on the field.🤔

What do you mean by outside his comfort zone? Are you suggesting he take over the offensive play calling?

Week 14 Gameday Bills at Buccaneers Pregame thread
LyndonvilleBill replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm hoping for both Lil Dirty and Stevenson. Stevenson for K/PR and Mckensie on Offense. Torn between Breida and Moss. Moss is a much better blocker and if we go pass heavy, might be better having Moss and if Mckensie plays O, he can handle the screens or whatever Breida would do. Tough decision between Breida and Moss for me.🤔 -
I think this is the game the team shows up for and the game that should have been played in the SB. 2 teams basically the same as they were at that time (minus White of course). 21 and 22 starters returned to start the season and to be honest, the game I have been looking forward to all season, just for a glance at what might could have been. I won't predict a score, I just look for a good clean game. We beat the Saints and WFT, which are 2 of the Bucs losses. I think we will play better than most people think.🙏 GO BILLS!!!
-
Yup. Although he's lasted longer than my Bold prediction (so far). I didn't think he make it through the season. Thought I was right after the bar dance.😂
-
I don't recall the thread or who mentioned it a while back, but it was along the lines of Mckensie is a special teamer now and would likely not be used much on O due to practice time. I agree with that. Especially with Stephenson being on IR and no real backup in place. I thought with Stevenson back, maybe they would play Mckensie more on offense and get back to him like last season. But, he screwed it up with the fumble and got benched. Hopefully, he gets out of the doghouse. We really need that Lil spark plug on offense. We don't have a quick shift guy to run those plays. Maybe Beasley, but then you lose him in the middle. As to the other options, I don't think Breida knows the playbook and that's why he couldn't get on the field as well as poor pass blocking. And finally, my opinion, Dabolls head is stuck in his a$$ and is too arrogant to adjust his play calling. 🤬. Just one armchair coaches opinion. 😉
-
Expectations... I think the players are beating themselves up trying to live up to them and may be coming across as lacking unity. I believe they all are just uptight right now. Just need to loosen up a little and I think a win against the Bucs could do that. I do think that Mommy and Daddy are having issues right now (McDermott and Daboll) and when that happens the kids suffer (team). I don't think McDermott and Daboll are on the same page and until that gets resolved, we could be heading down a rough road. Team unity will be fine, coaching staff probably not so much.

Things I would adjust through the end of season
LyndonvilleBill replied to Robert Paulson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. When there is no fear of the run, RPO is not going to work. Everyone is always talking about speed. I believe Mckensie is the fastest and quickest receiver we have on the roster. I think he needs be be much more involved like he was last season. Sweeps, motion, screens etc. As to Frazier changing, I think McDermott probably made that call. Right around the change I saw him talking to the D and on the headset. I believe McD puts too much trust in Daboll and Frazier and just let's them call the game. Seems like when he is more involved with the D, they play much better. I think it might be worth bringing Daboll down from the booth. Just don't think the offense is communicating very well and maybe this could help. Lastly, I know it will never happen, but going against a running team, should go more 4-3, put Klein in the middle and move Edmunds outside. He can still make the calls. Totally agree with you on the D line.
