  1. More experienced. I seriously doubt Mcbean is going to sign a top corner in FA. Plus, I can't picture Mcbean going into the draft with a hole like that. Rhodes or Hayward would be basically a place holder for White and Insurance for the rookie at a good price and no long term commitment.
  2. I wouldn't say washed, But that's all we need in FA for a CB. Draft one in the first. White comes back. CB is covered.
  3. Realistically, Considering the CB situation. I'll take Casey Hayward or Xavier Rhodes as a stopgap on a 1 yr deal.
  4. My opinion is, plan "A" should be Phillips, Ankou and Draftee. Plan "B" should be Star, Ankou and draftee. Draftee and Ankou battle it out for position. But I really believe they will get a deal done with Phillips, so I am sticking with Plan A.😉.
  5. Sign Hughes, Zimmer and Obada to 1 yr deals. Draft Edge and DT3 Addison and Butler can walk. Sign Phillips (3yrs). Draft a DT1 to replace Star.
  6. Is there somewhere that breaks it down per game? Be interesting to see before Bates at LG and after. Plus Dion getting healthy later in the season.
  7. PFN 25. T. Burks WR Arkansas Traded 57 & 2023 3rd for 46 46. K. Gordon CB Washington 89. J. Ruckert TE Ohio State 129. M. Hayes OG Oklahoma 168. H. Haskins RB Michigan 184. B. Bolden S Miami 202. M. Rose LB Iowa State 229. M. McCall DT Kentucky 244. N. Ford C Utah
  8. I am more than willing. People just don't have patience anymore. Plus for close to the same cap space Hunter would cost, you could probably keep Hughes, wallace and Harry. Heck, you could probably add Obada as well. And still have the picks to use.
  9. Maybe, but if your going to go all in on a RB, Barkley would be one of the guys you take a swing at. If he goes QB and selects Rosen, were probably having the same conversation as were are now.
  10. What I'm trying to say is, at that time, I believe he was considered a top 10 pick (if I remember correctly). I'll give you Allen, but, it's easy to look back and say it was a poor pick than it was at that time. Say they picked Rosen, Baker or Darnold. Would those have been a better choice looking at it now? I'm not so sure. May not have been the smartest move and as I said, I wouldn't have picked a RB that high, but I don't fault them for taking a swing.
  11. I'm actually one of the minority. I like Edmunds. Not neccesarily where he plays, but I think he is a good player. Get a true MIKE, go to a 4-3 and leave him outside. There must be something with Toney that we don't know. Dosen't make sense for them to trade a young player with potential. Especially with a new coaching staff coming in. A good offensive minded one at that. I also don't think they need to save face regarding Barkley. Sure he's been hit by the injury bug, but was worth it to them drafting him at that time (although I wouldn't draft a RB that high). To be honest, the only reason I would trade Cole for Barkley is it would be minimal cap change and I think both players may benefit from it and their both on the last year of their contracts. I wouldn't trade for him otherwise.
  12. Yup. Gruden 2.0 without the Really bad stuff.
  13. No. But what's that saying...? Why drive when you can fly? Only need someone to get us to the airport.🤣
  14. I wasn't looking at it as moving up in the 1st rnd. I was looking at losing 3 lower cost players. For example, That 4, could get you a decent RB, 5 could get you another oline and 6 could get you a good depth player or even a really good punter. LOL.
  15. I'd give them Cole in a player for player swap for Barkley. Even throw in Moss or a 6th rnd pick to sweeten it a little.🤔. No real cap savings for either team though.
  16. I think people forget it wasn't just a 1st rnd pick. It was also a 4,5 and 6. That would be a lot to give up under our current situation. I'm not arguing that flipping a 1st for a starting CB isn't an option, but do you have someone in mind and would that team be willing? Serious question as I haven't looked into it at all.
  17. I agree with you. From what I've read and the little I've watched, I see him as another Diggs. REALLY good, but doesn't add something we don't already have. Now Burks.... I would jump on and change my thoughts on taking a CB at 25. I think Burks would be the only WR I would take over a CB in rnd 1.🤔
  18. Although I don't disagree with your overall thoughts, I do question the " shedding of oline players and depth ". I am pretty confident that Bates will return. That gives the same starting line we finished with ( barring cuts of course). Dawkins, Bates, Morse, Williams and Brown. That's actually pretty good in my opinion, based upon the way they finished the season. Then you have Feliciano as a backup G/C, Ford as a backup G and Doyle as a swing T. Grab a FA or 2 and draft 1 or 2. Doubt we are going to draft a TE or RB in the 1st and I wouldn't hate a 1st on a wr depending on who, I just don't see it. Just like I wouldn't hate Davis as the pick, I just don't see that as the best route as I think they will re-sign Harry and still have Star if they want to keep him this year. Edge is a concern, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sign Hughes to a 1 yr deal to have the vet presence and one last go for a ring or even Addison, depending on $. My best guess would be BPA in the 1st, but would put a CB first, then WR followed by IOL. Obviously all depends on FA. Just my opinion though.
  19. Below is one I did on PFF. Kind of like it even though we are really early for where most guys will ultimately be ranked. 25 - Roger Mccreary CB Auburn 57 - Skyy Moore WR W. Michigan 89 - Jeremy Ruckert TE Ohio State 127 - Jerome Ford RB Cincinnati 166 - Cordelle Volson T N Dakota St 184 - Mike Rose LB Iowa St 202 - Otito Ogbonnia DL UCLA 242 - Nick Ford C Utah
  20. I'll be him in about 1 hr!😁
  21. Yup. Love the image you posted several times. Thought about borrowing it for the impact players threads, but wasn't mine to share.👍
  22. Yeah, but be sure to look at the line and Shady as the RB. Plus Tuhrod wasn't too bad himself. Like the hire though.👍
  23. Thanks. I don't have Wallace, or Boetteger on my list. But do have Zimmer, Obada, Phillips and Bates. I think Wallace will be too expensive and Boetteger I thought could easily be replaced. I have Hughes (vet presence 1 yr deal)and Neil instead. I also have McKenzie as a possibility, but totally depends on what they do with Beasley.
  24. As to FA's who of our own would you re-sign before others?
  25. May need 50+if we can't find a way to stop them from getting 42.😉
