  1. Not sure myself. But it falls in line with my original thoughts. I'm not looking for a WR1 this year. We already have Diggs and Davis. I'm looking more at a wr2 or 3. That's why I voted for Alec Pierce.
  2. I'm not saying it isn't a need, I just don't see it at 25 and as deep as this class seems to be, I believe they can wait until after the 1st round. Just my opinion.
  3. Anything is possible, but If a lot of OTs and edge go, a top CB could be there as well. I Just don't see us using a 1st for a wr 3 or 4. Only time will tell.
  4. I did, I did, I Did, I DID.....!🤣
  5. As it sits today, I am on the CB train in the 1st. I am begging for a small trade back to pick up an additional 3rd or early 4th. Just seems like there are so many good prospects currently in that area of the draft.
  6. I'll preface this with, I am more defensive minded and I don't think averaging 36+ points a game is realistic for an offense. Anything is possible. But if they keep William's (which I think they will) I believe he will be much better at RG this year now that Brown has a year under his belt as well as a full offseason. Then add in a new OLine coach (awesome decision), I just don't see a change coming to the starters. Then you have Doyle (ST), Ford (don't laugh, I still have hope a new coach brings him around), I just don't see a need for a higher draft pick. Again, if Morse hangs it up, all bets are off. But then you have a choice of Mongo or Bates that can start at center if needed. So I kind of still stick with Mongo would be the one for a possible upgrade and he is not one of our starters. As to the WR, No, I don't think nor want a 1st rnd WR. Too deep of a class in my opinion for a 1st rnd pick. Josh will help elevate any WR. Plus we are not in need of a #1. We need a 2,3 maybe even a 4th WR. Diggs, Davis are 1&2 and in order to go BPA in the draft, they will have someone already in place for a 3 or 4. FA will determine a LOT, so right now it's all best guess. But look at our FA's next year and I could see them using that as part of the thought process for some late picks this year. Gives them the ability to rotate in a little this year for experience and evaluation. Before next FA and Draft. I just think Our staff are planners and don't really look at today only in the draft.
  7. Other than a mock, I wouldn't draft a punter. But when I was looking at it, at least the punter could be a starter.😉. 6th round down is more for backup/ST and depth in my opinion, plus, we REALLY need a new punter and IronMaidenBills looked lonely...😁
  8. I totally agree with your second paragraph and wouldn't hate it if he stayed. I just think he's worn out his welcome between the Covid crap, fan statement (booing) and now with permission to look for a trade..? Then add in age and salary? I just don't see him being here. But I do think he was worth it.
  9. Bye, Bye Beasley. Hello Lil' Dirty.😁
  10. True and and no disrespect by jumping in on the conversation, but in my opinion, they'll re-sign Bates and a FA qb. I doubt they would put a rookie next to Brown on the right side, so I think they already have the starting 5 on OL set (unless Morse calls it a day of course). If anything, they'll look to upgrade Mongo later in the draft. So 2 WR's would not surprise me in this draft.
  11. Here you go. 25. Traded with Detroit for 32 & 97. 32. R. Mccreary CB Auburn 57. Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati 89. Jeremy Ruckert TE Ohio State 97. Damien Pierce RB Florida 127. Bubba Bolden S Miami 167. Velus Jones WR Tennessee 183. Matt Araiza P SD State 201. Nick Ford OG/C Utah 228. M. McCall DT Kentucky 243. Logan Bruss OG Wisconsin
  12. I went with Alec Pierce. I think most of the list you have will be gone before our second round pick. Size and speed and I think he could possibly be there for us in the 2nd. I also think this is the year they double dip on a WR. Like 2nd & 4th, maybe 5th round depending. Should be a WR that can also handle P/K returns. I know Velus Jones is a little older, but maybe he'll be available? Either way, I would like to draft Pierce.
  13. I'll take Pierce and Austin. One big, one small, but both have speed.😁
  14. Well, it looks like Alec Pierce killed half of my mocks. So much for my 3rd round pick.😡.
  15. Won't get roasted by me. Would like to have Horvath back there instead of Gilliam and I actually mocked him when I picked up extra 7ths. Plus he has upside and would rather have him over Moss.
  16. Right now I'd say early to mid 4th, but am going to guess he goes late 3rd.
  17. One of my Mock favorites. 😁
  18. From what I have been seeing, he has been dropping. Needs a good combine.🤔
  19. I like Pierce as well. Also like Alec Pierce WR from Cincinnati. Maybe 2 Pierce's for the price of one.😁
  20. I think coaching had to be a piece of it. I think that has been corrected with Kromer. Weight loss and I don't think Mongo was 100% healthy all season. As to Williams. Could it be having a rookie to his right and being asked to help and keep an eye on him? Kind of like handling a second role possibly causing a delay in his game? Or having poor guard play to his left and having to help there as well? Just a thought seeing the drop in his play...🤔
  21. You could look at Noah Ellis from Idaho as a DT1 late round pick. Nice big boy.😉
  22. The trade value chart seemed to be inline. Not really sure how realistic getting them at those spots is. Too early, but was worth the research on the players to me.😉.
  23. PFN with a couple of trades that were offered. 25 & 89 Traded for 43,58,74 &4th ATL 43. C. Thomas - Edge SD State 57. J. Dotson - WR Penn State 58. K. Gordon - CB Washington 74. Traded for 93 & 115 Seattle 93. J. Ford - RB Cincinnati 115. M. Hayes - OG Oklahoma 129. C. Austin - WR Memphis 168. B. Bolden - S Miami 184. M. Rose - LB Iowa State 202. J. Camarda - P Georgia 229. V. Jones - WR Tennessee 242. N. Ford - OC Utah
  24. Interesting draft using the Mock Draft Database simulator. 25. R. Mccreary CB Auburn 57. J. Salyer IOL Georgia 89. J. Ruckert TE Ohio State 128. J. Ford RB Cincinnati 167. C. Austin WR Tennessee 183. T. Anderson S Toledo 201. M. McCall DT Kentucky 228. N. Ford IOL Utah 242. B. Olaseni OL Utah
  25. Doesn't bother me at all. Actually enjoy them. Different players to research from my own are always welcome. Some of us aren't into college ball, so always good to see others thoughts. Just ignore anyone who complains, there are plenty of other threads they can read.😉
