  1. Why? Carr has made 1 playoff game in 9 years and lost. Plus he would probably cost more than Jones will. Jones finally has a coach he might be able to have some success with and is preparing for a playoff game. Give the kid a chance and give him some tools to work with other than Barkley.
  2. On offense, I gotta go with Dawesome Knox this week. I want to see him on Angry Runs tomorrow!πŸ˜‰ On D, I'm going with Milano.
  3. In most cases, I agree with your thoughts and really appreciate the time you put into the information you provide. Personally, I love draft talk and discussing player options. Without the extra game, everyone would have started discussing the draft and various players a couple of weeks ago. I thinks it's great hearing names and reading up on draft prospects. There a LOT of them and it takes time. So, some of my thoughts. Even with the posibility of losing Poyer, I just don't see Saftey as a top pick. Well as long as Hyde is a go for next season. I think there may be better options to replace Poyer than our 1st pick. Possibly move Benford to safety and grab another late rnd corner?πŸ€” I played with PFN a little this morning. I may be a little biased as to some players I have been reading up on and the Feldmans Freak List.πŸ˜‰ But I found it interesting. 30. Traded Raiders for 38, 138 & 215 38. Rashee Rice WR SMU. Just like this kid. Good hands, big enough for the outside, has some speed and pedigree. I'd take him at 30/31 if I had to. 😁 61. Traded up with Rams for 55. Gave 61 &138 55. Andre Carter Edge Army. Think he may slip a little with his military commitment? Von out, need some juice on the edge opposite Groot. Plus he could get some work in with Von. Who knows what will happen in 2024. Not sure if Lawson returns in 23'. FREAK! 93. Mazi Smith DT Michigan maybe slips a little with that weapons charge thing? We have Settle and Jones, don’t think Phillips returns. FREAK! 129. Andrew Voorhees OG USC Big 6'6" 325lbs and strong. 225@40 reps😱? Could slip a little being a 5th yr senior coming out. FREAK! 135. Joe Tippman OC Wisconsin. Draft network comp is Mitch Morse. Strong and athletic. 1.65 10 yd split... FREAK! 165. Rakim Jarrett WR Maryland 6' 194lbs, 22.9 on the GPS (4.43 40..) 41.3" vertical. Another MD Gem in the making? FREAK! 215. DJ Turner CB Michigan. No idea how he was still on the board. More research to do here, but, 23.07 GPS (4.28 40) and a 6.29 3 cone? Sure is interesting. Oh, and a FREAK! I was hoping I could have picked up an extra 7th, but didn't work out. Maybe get real lucky and grab Zack Kuntz TE from Old Dominion as an UDFA as he was still on the board. 6'8" 251lbs, 4.57 40, 10'8" broad jump and 40" vertical. And yes. Of course, a FREAK!😁
  4. I actually have no issue playing San Francisco. That means we are in the Superbowl!!πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  5. When we beat the Bengals tonight, it's a no brainer. We curb stomp the Pats into 2024 next week and take the 1 seed. If, IF, we lose tonight, what would you do next weekend? 3 seed. Rest starters and use as a bye week? Wouldn't we would play Ravens as the 3? As a 2 seed, play one of Miami, Jags, Steelers or even possibly the Pats again? Would the Bengals rest their starters as in all likelihood they wouldn't get the 1 seed? Please correct me if I'm wrong in the above. But, if correct, I think I'd rather go the 3 seed route.πŸ€”.
  6. Wonder if it has more to do with sandwhiching experience between two lesser experienced players? This was my concern with putting Bates on the right side next to Brown.
  7. Haven't watched Jarrett yet. Just some light reading so far. Will have to do some more research on him. Just a mid-late round thought considering what we've gotten from Diggs. Can lighting strike twice?πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  8. Thanks. I'll have to watch some highlights and read a little more on him. The ACL injury would always be stuck in my mind though. Usually cross players off my list when I see ACL (Drafting players at least).
  9. I think you spelled O-Line wrong.😜
  10. I have done a few as well. When I do, not so sure I like the trade value so I either grab Rice or an OG a little early just as I see those as the priority right now. Obviously could all change with FA, who we keep and combine. But with th FA costs at wr, I have got to think it would be at the top of the draft for us. Let alone a need.
  11. I'm with Gunner in this. What I've read and seen so far, not one of the stronger classes. I do like what I have seen and read so far on Rice. He may grade out as an early day 2, but if I had to guess right now, he will go on day 1 and I'd be good with it. I was just reading some on Rakim Jarrett from Maryland. Day 2/3 pick. Made Feldmans Freak list. Similar measurables to Diggs. Maybe get lucky again from MD?😁 https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/rakim-jarrett-5ce28118-eb17-4406-9179-805fa90e73e3/
  12. No, Not really. It was more of a question. What has he shown as a HC to get the best out of a QB?
  13. This. I think Frazier would be a very good choice. Plus would allow a good OC to focus only on the offense. Having an offensive mind as a HC, would would be less effective IMO having multiple responsibilities. Get a good OC and let a HC like Frazier focus on the entire team and culture.
  14. Loved Frank when he played for us, but has he done anything showing he can get the best out of a QB?πŸ€”
  15. Agree on Payton, although he would be a good choice if he's interested. Not so sure about Reich. Think he maybe too QB friendly and not so sure that is what Denver needs. I was thinking the Broncos need someone steady, players like and has some experience. Think that lockeroom is a mess and they'll be looking for someone to help create a new culture. Just thoughts. I have no idea at this point what direction they'll go, but can't be worse than this year was.
  16. Urban Myer Jags last year.
  17. Looks like 3 good interviews for Frazier after the SB.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  18. I think AJ is just starting. First year Covid year, then lost weight (too much if I recall) finally gets a real offseason without messing with his weight and body. Here we are. May not be a sack master, but I think he will be a very good overall DE going forward. Gets his sacks when available and getting better against the run.
  19. I don't know about that. Muppy seems to think we have some good looking players.πŸ˜‰
  20. Me too. Haven't gotten deap into WR yet either. But I am liking what I have read so far on Rashee Rice. 1st, Rice 2nd Voorhees 3rd Tippman One can dream, Right.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  21. I think FA will determine a lot as well as Morse. Still think they will bring back Saffold, Boetteger and probably Q for one more year. My guess would be WR in rd1. But drafting a couple IOL. Just starting to read into some OL myself and Joe Tippman (C - Wisconsin) maybe as a day 2 pick seems interesting.πŸ€” Joe Tippman- TDN comp, Mitch Morse https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/joe-tippmann-b6994694-fab6-4281-9688-d006948d0aef/
  22. If I'm reading this right, it says you found your wallet, but there's no money in it.😱🀣🀣🀣
  23. " Young 2% milk" gives 110% and shows why they brought him back. Trio to light it up.😁 On D, I'm going with Daquan. Will need him to step it up a couple of notches if Phillps and/or Oliver aren't a go.
  24. Definitely not looking past the Bears and I sure hope the team isn't either. I think the Bears and Pat's games will be the short passing, quick game that fits Beasley perfectly. Then gives him at least a week to get ready for the playoffs. Here's my (probably way off thoughts) about Cincy when we get there. I have a feeling that we have been holding back on some offensive plays against some of the teams we have played. Kind of cat and mouse. Just showing enough but pushing a little when needed to get the win. Playing to your competition type thing. Hence forth the close games. BUT, when we get to the Cincy game, all HELL will break loose and we really see a Dorsey game.😁. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!🀣🀣
  25. I was thinking if any game Bease sits, it may be Cincy. Just thinking if for some reason it turns into a shootout, maybe they'll want Browns speed and deeper route ability. πŸ€”
