And a small city. So he used to not having much to do all winter. ๐

On O, I'm staying with Shakir again this week. He had a very good game last week and I think it continues as Josh gains more confidence. I will also add just as I did last week, they should get Isabella some play time. His speed could really open some things up. On D, I'm going with Oliver. Need that pressure from the middle and he has the juice to provide it. Especially if Joseph gets in there for a few plays. We could be in for a beautiful short term relationship. ๐

A commonality among the Bills recent signings
LyndonvilleBill replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
If I had to guess, I would say there's a very good possibility of Joseph and Fournette get to play. Douglas, I'd say likely to get some time, but I'd be surprised if he got much. Barring inj***** of course. Didn't want to say it...๐ -

Fournette is 5 years younger than Murray (33) and Douglas is the same age as White (28). Joseph may be older, but, still better than anything we currrently have active as a DT1. ALL 3 were very good additions.- 63 replies

Suh would add another player to the SB list. ๐

I don't believe so. I think KC won it right after he left.

Hasn't he already been here a few days? I thought they brought him in a couple days ago for him to pass a physical. ๐ค -

What's this 2 out of 3 thing? We ARE winning all 3! ๐ -
IMO, they didn't want to and wonโt trade him. One of the main reasons why, I believe, they brought in Norman to help him learn the D and learn how to really play Zone. He has the physical attributes to be a very good CB and we did see flashes at the end of last season. White was busy working on himself and I don't think McD really has time right now to provide enough support and we don't/didn't have the experience from others to step in and help. I also believe that Douglas will be able to help him over the next several months. I think adding those 2 as "mentors", it could really aide to his improvement and ascension to being the CB we were expecting. Some people just need more time and support. I'm going to go out on a limb (could absolutely be wrong!) and say, Elam will be our #1 CB next season and (unfortunately) be White's replacement. OK, I'll take off my rose colored glasses now.๐

Week 9 thread - Weโre on to Cincinnati

It does go both ways. And in both cases, I tend to bite my tongue. I was raised to listen twice as much as you speak ( 2 ears, 1 mouth ๐). The difference with Homer's, is I expect that on a fan message board. The negativity is just surprisingly high for being "Fans" of a team. Don't get me wrong, I can certainly be negative (in the case of Dorsey, imo), I just can't see how people can live in that world so much. I'd have to be heavily medicated to be that way...๐คฃ Constructive criticism and opinions, I can handle (mostly). ๐ Trolls, well, I'll leave that to others to decide who they are. Some people just need a lot of attention. Not my thing. Probably one of the reasons why I refuse to sign up on X (twitter). Just like I tell my Kids and Grandkids, The world needs Happy Thoughts. -
We have a 2. Dalton, we have a 3, Davis, we have a 4 in Shakir, we have a 5 in ?? Or flip them around however you want. Whoever you want it to be. We have plenty of weapons to get the job done. Doesn't have to be a WR title to be our #2. Sorry we didn't pick up a WR of your liking/choosing. ๐

Week 9 thread - Weโre on to Cincinnati
LyndonvilleBill replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think there is more negativity than objective thoughts around here. More so lately. I've had to step away a few times lately and bite my tongue. Not that it's a real resemblance of many great posters around here, but, the GDT almost makes me want to shoot myself (kidding of course) just look at the Douglas threads from yesterday, half the comments were ridiculous, let alone from people that had NO IDEA what they were talking about. I don't block people because I like to see everyone's thoughts and opinions, but some OMG!! It hurts to think about...๐คฃ -
Week 9 thread - Weโre on to Cincinnati
LyndonvilleBill replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not saying the team is without flaws or the coaches have been perfect , but, last year was Dorseyโs 1st year, they made a change at DC this year. So they have seen what we've seen and are trying to improve. Personally, I think people are stuck on the destination and not the journey. Last year we could have gone 16-0 during the season (16-1 if I included what I think would've been the outcome of the Bengals game) if not for a botched fumble by Josh at the goal line against the Vikings, a choked pass by Josh to McKenzie in the Miami game and a windstorm game against the Pats. None of those losses are on the coaches. We beat the Dolphins in the PO's and yes we puked against the Bengals. Under the circumstances, I can at least understand why. Honestly, I'm tired of hearing about "13 seconds". Was it bad, yes, but it's not like we were playing some chump team and didn't play well. This year hasn't been the greatest of starts, but we know we are going to get everyone's best game. Better to start slow and improve than to start fast and fade. We are 5-3 and about where I expected to be at this point. This Bengals game will tell us what we need to know and I'm looking forward to the win.๐ I'm not sure what it is, I just think too many people think other teams and coaches are better or value others more than the Bills players. Such as Burrow. I think he is a good QB, but don't think he is on the same level as Mahomes or Allen. IMO, Mahomes and Allen bring players up around them, I think Burrow is brought up by the players around him.
