Anton Harrison T, U. Oak. Draft profile
LyndonvilleBill replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you think he is "Better" than Dawkins or can beat Dawkins out for the LT spot? If not or it's close, I'd rather leave Dawkins at LT. -
From what I'm seeing, Campbell is top 50 (end of first in some). I seriously doubt he would be there for our 2nd or just a move of a few spots. I would guess we would have to move up probably 15+ spots to have a chance at him. I have read Pittsburgh really likes him as well and it would be a Steelers type pick/player. So I doubt he makes it past Pittsburgh at 33 or later at 49. That would be our 3rd rnd pick this year. Not sure we have the draft capital this year to do that. Would you give next year's 2nd to move up? Or do you take Wright and hope we either have our MLB already or try and get someone else? Or take Campbell and use Brown? Or Take Campbell and get a later rnd OL? Both would be awesome, but probably unrealistic.
-
And I wouldn't hate it. There is a thread debating Campbell vs Wright going on. I can see both sides, but I lean more Campbell. Right now we have a RT already on the roster going into his 3rd year. Rookie, injured so this will be his year to prove its his position or time to move on. As it sits now, we have no idea what we are doing at MLB. So my questions are, which rookie would be best to start? Which is worth the #27 pick in value/need? Which position is more successful for a rookie to start in? I'll be honest. I don't know if I had to choose between Campbell and Wright right now, which I would take. I'd like them both.😁

I think if Brown could lock down the RT spot it would be the best option. I was on the Dawand Jones train, but after further thought, I changed my position on him due to lack of flexibility. Would be one heck of a right side if you could put Brown and Jones there.😱. I agree. I think G would not be a good spot for Brown, so it's kind of RT or swing/BU. He appears to have the physical tools for RT, I'm hoping it shows this season. 🙏 One of my concerns with getting a RG in the draft would be us putting a rookie next to Brown and I just don't like that idea. I was hoping they would have gotten a young vet in FA (Risner was my choice) to pair on the right side and put Bates back at LG. But, as it sits now, it looks like Bates at RG. Time will tell if it's the right call. 🤷♂️

Nice Break Down on Bills Acquisitions By Fins Fan

Only lived in Upstate NY and Florida but traveled all over for work. LOVED Arizona and planned on moving there back in the 90's but Family and responsibilities prevented that. Lived in Orlando, Daytona, Deland, Brandon, Clearwater, St. Pete, Sarasota and a few cities/towns here in South Florida. Sarasota was my favorite. Kids and grandkids are in the Alva area on 5+ acres, so that's where I want to be. Still warm and not a lot of people.😁 -
For me, I just like a little more meat in the seat😅. About 20lbs heavier than Harrison and I think he has a little more position flexibility? I read he can play LT, RT and Guard. So IF we were to go OL at 27 and add someone to push Brown I'd prefer Wright and if Brown shows up, maybe put him at RG or put him at RG for a year and take over RT next year. Not necessarily the best use of draft capital, but an option. I haven't watched many of the pundits lately, but it does appear he is trending upwards over the last couple of months.

Naples isn't bad. More snobby than I like. In between Sarasota and Punta Gorda is more my style or anyplace East of 75 and South of Pinellas/Hillsborough County is more my style. LOVED Sarasota when I lived there but population has significantly increased. (Darn northerners. 😁). Love the snow and change of seasons up there, but, HATE the cold.🥶. Been here so long, below 80 is chilly.😅. -

I love Florida as well, just not Southeast Florida. It's the old saying, I love Miami because it's so close to the USA 🤣. West and Southwest are much better IMO. Let me know when you find your wallet and we'll talk.😉😁 -

Not many down here are from here. Most are smart and leave. I'm not longed for here either. 😉 -
I think Knox is considerably better than what we've already seen and I believe he will be even better utilized if we are able to get an above average OL. Other than rewatching each game, Is there someplace to see where he lined up? Inline, backfield, Right or left side? For some reason I am seeing him lined up in the backfield alot to Josh's right (right side for obvious reasons). Also anyplace to see like time to release? I see people mention him running a lot of routes and I recall many as well, but, from memory it seemed Like his "chip blocks" were more like block and release (if that makes sense). By the time he released and got into his route, Josh was already scrambling. When I picture, say Kelce chip block it's almost like bang bang. He pops his guy and he's gone. When I picture Knox, it's like block until you know we're OK, then release.

No worries, I took it that way.😁

Not sure he is better, but I'm sure he has more information and time.😉 As to the Mock, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't take an early OL nor would I be surprised if they don't take a safety at all this year. Like the Campbell pick, will be surprised if he lasts to 48 though. I do like your picks of Campbell, Johnson and Morris. 😁

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

I heard it was down to around 5m for OBJ. I'm not a big fan, but , I sure would pay 5 for OBJ over the 15m plus picks for Hopkins. -
How long before a defense coordinator is signed?
LyndonvilleBill replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe it is only for HC & GM hires. -
Personally, I disagree with some of the defensive philosophy. I think the rotation and DL investment is out of whack and poor choices were made there (Basham and Epenesa for example). I also think with McD and his ability to coach up DB'S we don't need a high investment at Saftey either. I do think, LB, OCB and Nickle should be heavily invested in based on our scheme.

In your eyes, I'm sure. So, tell me where in the week 3 game I am supposed to see something great when he covers Hill? I'll go back and look at it again to see if I can see what you are seeing. Believe me, I like Elam and thought he improved greatly. Just didn't see anything that made me say wow when he was covering Hill. -

No, that's an opinion. 😜
