Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

This is easily the worst take in this entire thread. Heinz Field, Soldier Field, Lambeau, Arrowhead, and Mile High all have grass fields. -

I know you're being sarcastic. But I went to a Bills/Jets game at Met Life a few years ago. They had the biggest bathrooms with the most urinals I've ever seen. Lol -

I'm not sure what was better. Carl Lewis butchering the anthem or Charlie Steiner completely losing it and cracking up over it on SportsCenter. "Francis Scott Off-Key"

Everyone complaining in New England will look silly tomorrow when he either takes out a full page ad in the Boston Herald or as an earlier post suggests, he shows up to make a speech.

The report that came out a couple years ago about the ECC campus nearby makes too much sense. ECC would sell the property to the Bills for $1.00 if the Bills covered the demolition costs.

I had no idea...Anniversary of Chuck Hughes death on the field

According to Wikipedia it was a "traditional" heart attack. One of his coronary arteries was 75% blocked and wasn't diagnosed. That was the cause. He collapsed heading back to the huddle after a play... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Hughes -

I'm going with 2 that I was in attendance for. The first was opening day 1992. The Bills destroyed the Rams 40-7. Thurman Thomas scored 4 TDs, Steve Tasker made a tackle on a punt return that is in most of his highlight reels, James Lofton broke the receiving yardage record, and Magic Johnson was in attendance. The second wasn't actually opening day but it was the home opener in 2014. Ralph Wilson had passed away during the offseason and they were having a pregame ceremony to honor him. Then during the week leading up to the game, the Pegulas had been approved to buy the team and it was announced that Jim Kelly was cancer free. The feeling in the crowd was electric. Jim Kelly approached the podium to speak at Ralph's ceremony and the place came unglued. That was as loud and as sustained of a roar as I've ever heard. It gave me chills. Oh yeah, and the Bills beat the Dolphins 29-10.

The hotter they are, the more we put up with. -
I agree. There was an article about this some time ago. It indicated that ECC would basically give the property away in exchange for the Bills covering demolition costs. Staying in Orchard Park seemed inevitable to me once the new training facilities were built. I personally love the atmosphere in OP.

I haven't lived in the Rochester area in nearly 15 years. But in the time I was there, Bob Lonsberry stated that he was against "mainstreaming" special needs kids into regular public schools. Then the "J-Mac game" happened and he was on the air talking about what a great moment it was. He was also fired for making a racial slur against the mayor of Rochester. It's hard to take the guy seriously and I rolled my eyes when I saw that he wrote the article.

I also heard that it was originally supposed to be the Bills. Not sure why it was changed. The speech the radio guy makes at the beginning of the movie is just as applicable to WNY as it is to Cleveland. -

They carry my local Fox station. As well as all the other local affiliates. I'd never run into this issue before. The Rams game was on Fox and I was able to watch that.
