Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Bockeye replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Full participant today. He’s definitely going to play in my opinion. From the Phinsider: The Miami Dolphins saw quarterback Tua Tagovailoa return to the practice field on Wednesday in a limited fashion. On Thursday, that changed to the Pro Bowl passer participating in the team’s full workout as he looks to return from the injured reserve list following a Week 2 concussion -
Would be interesting to see Groots stats on right side versus left. Not sure they have stats like that
-
Bills finally started using him exclusively on the left side where he played mostly in college. He’s much more comfortable there and that’s where his muscle memory was formed for his moves. From The Athletic: “DE Greg Rousseau (A) — In his first game as a left-side-only defensive end since 2022, Rousseau absolutely dominated from both a pass-rushing and run-defending perspective. He had an advantage against starting right tackle Jaelyn Duncan, and once Duncan left with an injury, it was a complete mismatch against the backup. Rousseau showed off his full arsenal of moves en route to a league-high in Week 7 pressures with 11, according to Pro Football Focus and TruMedia. He was unstoppable, and the Bills should strongly consider keeping him on the left side only moving forward.”

JAMES COOK The Bills Mafia is onto something when they say, “Let James Cook!” He had 3 touchdowns during the last Bills game against the Miami Dolphins. For one of those touchdowns, Cook was recorded reaching a speed of up to 21 mph, per NexGen stats. That marks the fastest top speed on a play of Cook’s career. Read More: This Buffalo Bill Is The Fastest One On The Team | https://wyrk.com/fastest-bill-james-cook/#?utm_source=tsmclip&utm_medium=referral KEON COLEMAN He clocked a remarkable speed of 20.36 mph, outrunning even Nacua’s performance from the previous year. Among his competitors, Coleman stood out by registering the second-fastest speed in group drills. He delivered an astounding performance by peaking at 21.71 mph while running a go route. https://www.overtimeheroics.net/2024/03/04/nfl-player-tracking-data-highlights-keon-colemans-impressive-speed/ Yes - Not the underwear Olympics everyone is enamored with, but real pads on game speed. Lets fire up the “James Cook Slow Jokes” thread 😂

You know what’s funny is the fact that Cook is actually slower than Coleman. Yes - different position but who woulda thought.

Keep up the narrative so you can eat some crow like you did today. In the gauntlet drill at the NFL Combine, Coleman reached a top speed of 20.36 miles per hour – the fastest speed by a receiver over the last two seasons. "The 40 is no longer the most effective way to determine a player's speed," wrote ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques earlier this year. "The value it once had to teams has diminished in its 80-year existence, as clubs turn toward other means – such as GPS tracking and analytical data – to fully understand how fast a player can move in football specific situations." Despite the 40 time, Beane is confident that the wideout has plenty of speed. "He's a guy whose got play speed, he's got short-area quickness for a big guy," Beane said. "We all know, some guys, they can run the track time, but that's where the mental part comes into it, too. I always say if you run 4.3 but you're not smart, you'll never play 4.3."

SF without their #1 RB and top 3 WR’s.

Have seen this kid in person at MSU a couple times - he can absolutely bomb it! I did a double take when I saw him punt the hell out of the ball….and he kept bombing punts and had a 40+ yd kick as well. Go Cats Go!

The Bills Defense is Last in Rushing Yards / Attempt
Bockeye replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills need a DT. Hence Beane grabbing Zion Logue off the practice squad. Hopefully he can snag one prior to trade deadline. We are almost last in run D. We don’t need a WR as Cooper will make all of our WR’s better by opening things up just being on the field. I believe he was/is just as good as Diggs but had mediocre to terrible QB’s throwing him the ball. DE, Safety would be nice, but not the glaring need DT is. We’re getting Von back and h’e looked great. Bishop and/or Edward’s have the ceiling to improve. -
The difference between the Bills and Chiefs is Chris Jones.

Beanie and/or his scouts are not the best at drafting WR’s and DE’s. Need to get lucky next draft. -
Agreed. Beane doesn’t have the best track record with WR’s. His best is Diggs, but after that, a loooong list of duds. Cooper is gonna be a stud for us I believe.
