I would respectfully disagree - I think a lot of people in every walk of life are motivated by being disrespected (whether real or perceived). I know i had my share of “disrespect” thrown at me when I was younger and used it as a primary motivation to achieve where I am today. One term I’ve heard about the Bills is “perceived” disrespect - this is 100% false. The Bills have been and continue to be disrespected this season by all sorts of media types.

Great point! Lest we forget - Bills have $31M in dead cap space because of Diggs the whiner. Imagine who we could have on this team for that $!!!

I tend to agree, but 8 straight games of 30+ points per game along with 3.12 points/drive is astoundingly good. I’m fine with his passing and running calls. How the heck can we do much better?? So the below stats are wrong then?? Brady and Manning in their prime were putting up more points per drive? Had way more than 8 30+ point games. Just trying to square this. The 2024 Bills are averaging 3.12 points/drive - In the history of the NFL, only the 2007 Patriots have averaged more at 3.19. The only other teams above 3 are the 2018 Chiefs, the 2013 Broncos and the 2001 Rams.

What’s funny is listening to the live broadcasts and esp with Romo or Brady announcing, they could prob get 90% of the calls right. Things like: ”they have to pass here because they don’t want to burn a TO” ”He definitely only had one foot in bounds” etc, etc…. They could have an 18yo watching the live broadcast relaying the important commentary to the coach and probably improve considerably. To Logic’s point - it’s an issue league wide.

I agree with your premise that no one thought we were going to have an undefeated season. There are a ton of fans and media that looked at this year as rebuilding given the players we lost. The Defense can improve with better play, scheming, rotating in other players possibly, but the one area of concern that is valid is McDermott’s coaching decisions. It is absolutely irrefutable that he has consistently made some head scratching calls - especially in critical moments. The troubling part is that he seems to not learn from his previous mistakes. The real hope is that we go on a heater come play off time and McD is not put in a position where one of his calls is critical to the outcome of the game. It can happen.

I agree and hope we stay #2. Steelers play the Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, Bengals. Every single one of those games is going to be a street fight. Guarantee they are going to be haggard heading into the playoffs.

I think a lot of the playoff games will be a track meet. Last team with the ball and score wins. Today, we lost the track meet. Lots of people wanted this, i.e., just get Allen more weapons and focus on offense.

Where we are at now, I’d love to see more Carter, Solomon, and Poyer for Hamlin. Maybe they can provide a spark and better play.
