Problem is that we’ve been doing a “soft reboot” since we’ve had Allen. We fall woefully short every year and this year we’re prob not even making the playoffs barring a miracle. Unfortunately the trolls have a better leg to stand on when you look at our results. Collectively, we all hate where we are this season as well as past seasons. As such everything is on the table (except trading Allen which would be insane).

Great topic. I’ve definitely been critical of Beane, but to your point, some of the picks are showing and it’s great to see. I went from a C to a B grade. Was critical because you’re not going to the superbowl with Average drafts. Besides Allen, I’d love to see a player just crush it rookie year like happens to other teams all the time. Having said that, Kincaid might be our guy. Terrible that Dorsey didn’t get him involved. Also - Don’t forget about Bass!!

The people have spoken. If I had any technical talent, I’d put up the same poll for Beane. I mean his drafting is not good in my view. Great at FA’s and contract structure, but picks stink (which means I’d do a scout reboot as well).

Sports are emotional so we agree on that. It’s one of the reasons we watch. Once I believe the season is a wash though, I see it as wasting my time. I’m retired and have a bunch of hobbies which include being outside a ton. I’d rather pursue those than frustrate myself watching a team which isn’t making the playoffs. Judging by the empty home stadiums when the Bills were struggling, I’d say a large majority of folks are in line with my way of thinking. I’m not there yet on this year though.

I’m barely computer literate but it would be interesting to put up a poll and see what the tipping point is for giving up on the season. I think 5 losses and I’m out. Some peeps are out already.
