"Boy, I told you it's one triple-cheeseburger a day or I'll wedgie you so hard you'll need a proctologist. You got 'till 5pm and don't you *try* this crap again."

Belichick. He knows how to outmaneuver, gameplan specific opponents and make adjustments. I don't like the guy. I don't like his running up the scores as part of a temper tantrum after spygate. I don't like his smug look. But the man can coach. He held us to 17 points of offense in XXV after we just put 41 (missed PAT) on the Raiders in the AFC Championship Game. He mounted the comeback against Atlanta when they were dead to rights. He found a way to disrupt the Rams offense by making formation changes after the coach/qb helmet feed was turned off each play. He saw new QBs coming into the East and tried to wreck them before they got their feet under them. Allen recovered. Darnold never did. As a fan, it wouldn't be right. But objectively, I think he'd be the best for the job.

This is a well-thought out post, with a lot of logic behind it. We attributed the drop in Allen's performance to injury, as it was stark and immediate. But they claimed he could play through it, and the injury wasn't a contributing factor. His relationship failing certainly would make sense as a distraction, and one that would upset Diggs.

13 seconds. That and the guy, by his own admission does not make in-game adjustments. They have/had the talent to overcome that against mid/poor teams. When you hit the elites, they adjust. Look at the Cinci games. Frazier had a lot of time to prepare after seeing his D shredded in a drive and a half and he changed nothing. And...this may shock and amaze you...it got shredded again, in the same way, in the playoffs. You turn a failing scheme into a working one through adjustments. Not by hoping the football fairy comes down out of the sky and magically makes the opposing offense change their plan into something yours works on. Frazier believes in fairies. We get smoked against elites in the playoffs. That's not scapegoating. If they put up a fight, if Frazier made adjustments and it still just didn't work then yeah, you could claim scapegoat. But he didn't. He's all "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead", and then gets surprised when he gets blown out of the water by the aforementioned torpedoes. No scapegoating here. Frazier is a relic who overcame his utter lack of adjustments and flexibility through sheer overmatching of opponents, talent level to talent level. I could be a top-tier boxer if I got to fight high-school seniors. Maybe even 2nd rank. But put me then up against a trained boxer and my butt would hit the mat faster then a QB drilled by Von Miller.

He's not the guy that would get us to the Super Bowl. But, that doesn't mean he's not a good coach/coordinator. There are a number of mid/low tier teams he'd be an upgrade for. He might even be able to carry a team into the playoffs. He just won't take them farther then that. For a rebuilding team that needs experience and confidence that would be huge. You know "bridge QBs"? Frazier could be a "bridge coach/DC".

Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
The Red King replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
And? Doesn't excuse his imconsistant play last season, and does not put my faith in him for this one. The Jets game still haunts me, and that was just one key drop. Now Hopkins here, on the other hand, I kinda remember him making a clutch catch, in a ton of traffic, to win a game that looked lost, but I can't quite seem to recall... 🤔 -

If Davis would stop making critical drops at key times a number of people here would feel far more secure about the WR room atm. Hopkins is clutch. ATM, Davis is not. -

The dumbest rule in the NFL: New rule change
The Red King replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seahawks, opening kickoff of the second half. Was a complete surprise, we ran under and caught it. Ref ruled their player signaled for a fair catch and we interfered. -
For the people wondering about KC. We play each AFC division every three years. For the other two AFC divisions we play the team that finished in the same place as us. For some godforsaken reason this doesn't swap home/away every year, but rather every two years. So, three seasons ago we got them because we played the AFC West, and that was in Buffalo. The next two seasons we got them because we finished in the same spot they did, and because of that two year crap I mentioned earlier, both just coincidentally were in KC. Now, this season we play the whole AFC West again, and since we played them in Buffalo the last time we played the West, this one's in KC. So, thanks to a perfect storm we get three straight games in KC. If we play them next season (we need to finish in the same place as them) it will be in Buffalo.

Nobody commenting on the Hoodie's surveillance wall (starts @ 1:18)? I thought that was the coldest one out of them all. Loved it, mind you, but dayum. 😁

Yeah, that is still what I most remember. Buffalo was actually recovering from that 💩-show EJ performed earlier. Wait! The Chiefs refused to play overseas this season? So, just like that they get an advantage over us? It's just that easy to say "Nah."? This actually has my blood boiling right now.

To be clear, it said it was proven he wasn't there. Nothing ambiguous. Outright proven innocent. I was one of the ones blasted here for saying I want to wait for actual facts before crucifying the kid. She derailed his career and life. Both he and the Bills should sue her. She cost us a potentially legendary punter, and cost him so much more.

Lots of sports peeps all saying Hopkins is going to a lot of different teams. -
I was being sarcastic there. I should have added an emoji. 😆

By that measuring stick it's not just Bass. Every single player to ever play for the Bills, be it Peterman, Flutie, Johnson, Smith, Thomas and even Allen are all worthless, since not a one of them have helped Buffalo win it all. Maybe someday Buffalo will get a good player, even just one...
