  1. That's the problem. The NFL finally realized there's nothing we can do, which is why the bad officiating is so obvious this season, all around.
  2. That's a good point. The closer the game, the longer people watch. Close games are more compelling then blowouts, better entertainment.
  3. (Please don't merge this with the thread complaining about the Bills/Eagles officiating. This is different, with wider scope, and not limited to the Bills.) There have always been suspicions that the NFL is fixed, but this year seems almost blatent. There have been a ton, a ton of badly officiated games this season, and not just involving the Bills. The NFL is in bed with Vegas and the gambling apps, that much is fact. So, my question is, what do you believe? I don't believe the league is outright scripted. But I do believe they have preferences, and are not afraid to unleash the officials to get the outcomes they want, based on trends. I hate to be that guy. I hate to think about conspiracy theories. But the officiating all around the league has been laughably bad/questionable the whole season.
  4. The NFL is using officiating to nudge games in the direction they want. It's been like that for years (for example, the Tampa game against Brady). The difference is, the NFL realized/decided not to even bother trying to cover it up this season. They're being outright blunt and obvious, and daring there to be consequences. What are we going to do? Not watch? You might lose a few people here or there, but not in enough numbers to matter. It's not just one bad game, or one team getting screwed, it's all over. We were on the receiving end of it with our win over the Giants despite an obvious penalty in the end-zone. The league isn't anti-Bills. We're just not part of their script this season. It's nothing personal, just business.
  5. But this amuses me. I almost fell for it too, I'll admit. So, I wanted to put a warning up. And yet people still kept blowing right past it and replying in anger. Now, I could see if this was a timeless thread, like "Fire McD", but it's not. It's about a specific quote and action from two years ago. There is literally zero reason to revive this thread, but here we are. To answer your question, people stop necroposting here, I'll stop posting fun warnings and laughing at them. 😁
  6. I'm...at a loss. I'm actually laughing so hard I'm crying. Is everyone so blinded with anger that they're not checking the original's posting date, or the several necropost warning posts already made? People aren't even reading the thread, just rage-replying to the two year old OP. 🤣
  7. You're a lil late. The request was made two years ago. Check the posting date. 🤣
  8. Guys...this is a necropost. Check the dates. 😆
  9. Who's giving McD a pass? McD blew it. Refs were blatently one-sided and terrible. These are not mutually exclusive things. We're only allowed to complain about one or the other?
  10. No. I thought Dorsey and McD were problems. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Firing Dorsey solved one problem and yielded immediate results. I still think McD flounders with late-game decisions, which remains concerning.
  11. Alright, I'll admit I was wrong. The change in coordinator, combined with the way they looked after that change, has me hopeful. Still a long way to go, but if this offense, on Brady's first game, on a short week, against the Jets' D can do what they just did, I suppose I'm feeling guarded optimism. I was hoping to see improvement, I was praying for a W, but I never expected a blowout.
  12. Game plan. If I'm the Jets I lock down Diggs and dare the Bills to throw to literally anyone else (something they have failed miserably at in the past).
  13. It's refreshing to see an offense designed to use the strengths of your personnel. Cook and Kincaid were doing what I had hoped and expected they would do when we got them. Just Dorsey flat-out refusing to use them that way. Our weapons are becoming weapons, and I love the look of it.
  14. Aside from the injuries, I am thrilled with how the game went. New coordinator on a short week against the Jets D and we get 32? I'll take it. Next week will be huge. If Buffalo can manage a W, then they'll have two weeks to get the new offensive changes cemented in before KC.
  15. Interesting how these long official delays keep coming when the Jets are on their heels.
  16. Really guys? Really?
  17. Well, let's see how they respond. The Bills' defense is the walking wounded, even more so now. Offense is going to need to turn it up in the second half.
  18. Getting sick of these injuries. Doesn't seem to matter, play well, and then *bam*. It's like, which key player(s) is going down this week.
  19. Don't forget, this is our interim OC's first game, and it's on a short week against the Jets' D. The 'O' isn't going to go from zero to hero overnight. I wanted to see progress and something to give hope, and so far this game has done that.
  20. Receiver laid out a helmet to helmet hit on him. >.>
  21. Anyone else as giddy as I am about how the OC is calling this game?
  22. You can't expect miracles. He's game-planning on a short week against the Jets' D. That's why I would have preferred this a week earlier for a long week of prep against Denver, but here we are. In other words, I'm really hoping for good things. But also realize you can't judge the new guy based just on tomorrow. I'm more just looking for progress and hoping the Bills can pull off wins until the bye.
