  1. You are clearly biased in your hatred of Landry. Did the NFL fine him? Most people besides Bills fan saw it as a clean block. Was it a nasty hit? Sure, but by the rules it was fine. Hines Ward was known for this and everyone loved him. He was "hard nosed" not "dirty."
  2. Those Mountain West defenses though!
  3. Mayfield was down with 2 other Bills on top of him when the other 2 launched into him. It was late, and it was dirty. Landry's hit on Williams was dirty because he launched into his head. He blocked into the chest this time, so it's legal.
  4. It takes 2 seconds to find several examples of him throwing off balance into double coverage.
  5. And yet it's not even a penalty.
  6. No, there isn't. Mayfield was clearly down before they launched into him. Landry blocked in the chest, which is completely legal. I think crackback blocks are dangerous, but they are legal as if now.
  7. Crawford and Couch are strictly preseason and this is their first year. Jim Donovan does regular season and is great.
  8. I'm not saying it's right, but the hit Landry put on Williams is done probably a dozen times a year, or at least it used to be. Whether it results in a career injury doesn't make the other hits less dirty. 2 players launching at a QB who was clearly down is just as dirty.
  9. Right, but call out "dirty" players all around. Your guys do it and it's fine. Someone else does it and guys are calling for people to end Landry's career.
  10. How is Wallace and Bush late cheap shot on Mayfield any better?
  11. He scored high on a written test, but has proven to make dumb choices on the field. He could correct them longterm, but extremely doubtful as a rookie.
  12. Our grocery baggers are gonna kick your garbage mens' asses in the 4th quarter!
  13. A Browns writer is saying this is more about moving on than the compensation. Basically said that issues extend back to last year and that isn't wasn't entirely performance based. I've heard a lot that Coleman is lazy and didn't know the playbook. The ability is there but not always the mental part.
  14. Right. Higgins had 2 good games last year. The rest were average at best. Coleman was a Maybe too.
  15. Rashard Higgins has been outplaying Coleman all camp, and Callaway has looked good so far. Landry has been crazy good, and they seem to think Gordon will be back in plenty of time for the season. Coleman has talent, but injuries and laziness have hampered him
  16. Good luck with Coleman. He has suspect hands and is injured a lot. He could turn it around, but he has a reputation for being lazy too.
  17. I think promoting day had more to do is schiano's involvement and ties to the Penn State program when the issues were there, and Wilson's issues at Indiana.
  18. This is what will ultimately take him down. "Also, as an Ohio State employee who supervises others, Meyer is required by the university's sexual misconduct policy to report knowledge of domestic abuse by a university employee. According to the policy, "An individual need not be charged with or convicted of a criminal offense to be found responsible for domestic violence pursuant to this policy." http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/24258253/ohio-state-buckeyes-places-urban-meyer-administrative-leave
  19. He was charged for raping a 54 and a 59 year old woman, and attempting to rape a 71 and 86 year old. What the hell?
  20. Cleveland offered a stupid trade out of desperation to win a game. Sashi Brown rightly took too long to send in the paperwork. McCarron can't beat out Dalton. And Allen was drafted on potential alone. He may turn out great, he may not.
  21. Since when is ND a national powerhouse? They have a good year every 5 or 10 years and that's it. I actually like Allen, if you give him a LOT of time to sit. But accuracy isn't something that usually gets a ton better once in the NFL.
  22. Josh Allen is Deshone Kizer on steroids. Everything you could want in a QB but none of the production. He's literally last in all but 1 spot, and in that he's 4th out of 5.
  23. No, they didn't. If they thought he was the best QB in the draft, they take him in the 1st round, not the 3rd.
  24. Because Ogbah is a damn good DE in his own right. Good pass rusher and great against the run.
  25. I want Hurst in Cleveland at 64. He lives in opponents' backfields.
