  1. If it isn't illegal, it isn't cheating. The Steelers didn't try to substitute. If they had, they would have prevented the Patriots from snapping the ball until they substituted. Not everything new that happens is cheating.
  2. I say he and Harbaugh end up in Denver.
  3. I've heard Riley isn't being considered at all. Arians possibly, and he would keep Kitchens. After that, Dorsey is as tight lipped as they come. Very few had any clue of Mayfield and Ward being the picks before they happened. That, and Stanton was hired as essentially a personal QB coach for Baker.
  4. I want to keep Gregg more or less simply to keep Kitchens. Obviously he and Baker are great together. From 3-36-1 Hue to 4-2 Gregg.
  5. Chubb has 12 sacks. I doubt they regret him.
  6. Yeah, he is struggling pretty bad tonight. Hopefully he has a good 2nd half. He had a 3 INT 1st half against Houston, then threw for 350+ in the 2nd half.
  7. Since the coaching change (Week 9), he is the 3rd rated QB in the NFL.
  8. He's not a superstar, but he has been pretty good since signing in Cleveland. Caught a 66 yard bomb on the 1st drive last week.
  9. Great catch by Perriman too! Crazy how bad he was in Baltimore.
  10. Gordon won't be a FA this offseason. He'll be a RFA next offseason.
  11. Chubb. He is already near elite pass rush status as a rookie. Allen is progressing but is still a huge question mark.
  12. That shows a major, major flaw in QBR. Rodgers has thrown 23 TD to 1 INT this year. 1! Allen is at 5 and 9. He gets apparently a huge boost from his running.
  13. The big issue is if he gets too comfortable running, and runs even when plays aren't there, or runs for 10 when there is a 30 yard pass there for the taking. I'm not saying that will happen. And his running has been crazy good. It's just a result of seeing Browns QBs in the past getting "used" to scrambling from pressure to the point that they scramble, pressure or not. Allen can develop as a passer, but isn't very polished yet.
  14. I think there is zero chance of either being traded for 3rds and 4ths. Julio is probably the best or top 3 at worst WR in the game, and AJ is close when healthy. Those picks don't help half as much or close as them. And it isn't like they are 35 with only a year or 2 left.
  15. How do you still have 1st and 2nd round picks while trading for Julio or AJ?
  16. I doubt the top QB lasts to 6. Someone will trade to 1, 2, or 3 to ensure they get the guy they want. Rarely does the bidding start at pick 6.
  17. Watch Mayfield maneuver the pocket. It's amazing. The oline in Cleveland has been much better since Jackson was fired, but we have started a 285lbs UDFA rookie at LT, and complete bust Greg Robinson at LT. The middle 3 are great, but our tackles are very weak.
  18. No, you are delusional if you think teams are making crazy catches left and right. I can think of 2 catches like that for Cleveland this year. Chubb, and Landry against the Jets. They are showing 16 drops this year. Cleveland has a better supporting cast, but it isn't like they are All Pro at all these positions. Landry is very good. Higgins is good for 25 - 30 yards a game. Callaway is boom or bust. Njoku is crazy talented, but drops a lot of passes and couldn't block me. We are playing Perriman, a complete bust in Baltimore, a lot of meaningful snaps.
  19. I didn't miss anything. Higgins dropped a wide open 30 yard TD last week. Chubb made a crazy catch for sure.
  20. Do people knock Eli when Beckham does that? Every QB gets bailed out from time to time, just as every QB has dropped passes. You cant just say "he's over 60%" if you take out drops." Every QB has passes dropped.
  21. Mayfield was 18-22 this week......with 3 dropped passes, 1 of which was a walk in 30 yard TD. Allen isn't the only QB with dropped passes. Cleveland actually has more if you look at the above link.
  22. Build a winning tradition.........by losing?
  23. For the draft, its SoS either way.
  24. Mayfield had 215 yards, 2TD and 0 INT against Tampa. He did struggle against Houston in the 1st half. He threw for 352 yards in the 2nd half, and should have had 2 TDS if Callaway doesn't fumble into the end zone on a 71 yard pass. Mayfield has definitely had a few rough patches but as a passer, but he is head and shoulders above Allen right now. Allen has impressed me. I thought he would bomb right off the bat, but he has been better than I expected.
  25. You mean like Hue's media tour after he was fired where he indirectly blamed everybody but himself, and tried to rewrite history by saying he wanted Wentz and Watson? Classless and immature like that? That, or Tech wouldn't offer their starting freshman walk on QB a scholarship, so he left.
