  1. Peppers is an above average SS. Trade was still well worth it, especially if they sign Earl Thomas.
  2. Funchess got $13 million MAX. I haven't heard what the base is.
  3. 4 catches for 36 yards in 5 games last year. And he got $6 million a year!?!?!?
  4. Caught Mayfield's 1st career TD. Good blocker, ok pass catcher. I hope Dorsey has a plan to replace him because he was relatively cheap too.
  5. IF that trade happened, it would take 4, Carr, and probably another pick. If I'm Arizona, I consider it. I think Carr is better than Murray. No chance Oakland gets #1 for 2 late 1sts and Carr.
  6. Whatever man. I think Beane has done a good job, but these "genius" scenarios that you're dreaming up in your head are insane. He called about trading for him, couldn't get it done, and he's not any smarter or dumber for it. It's just the way the NFL works sometimes. Plus, teams don't disclose their draft wants and needs to each other and about each other when discussing a wide receiver trade. I'm sure everybody would have been interested at the right price but most teams were eliminated right off the bat because of how much he cost. Do whatever you feel like you need to do to convince yourself that Beane is some next-level genius and everybody else is dumb.
  7. How would get learn team needs and draft info when discussing a 30 year old player trade? I'm pretty sure at this point you are trolling.
  8. It helped, but Chubb looked better all year. Dorsey finally traded Hyde so Hue was forced to play Chubb. Hyde then went to Jacksonville and basically not play. Hyde is a decent player, but he isn't special either.
  9. Hyde is average. He was averaging 3 YPC in Cleveland last year. Chubb starts and goes for 5. And Hyde isn't a good receiver either. He's ok, but nothing special.
  10. Sure. That's possible. That wouldn't be him rejecting them though. I'm not sure what your arguement is. My original comment was about Buffalo being the best fit for Brown, which is simply false. It may be what happens, but no WR is taking Allen over Rodgers or Brees.
  11. So you haven't watched him. At all
  12. Buffalo or the others? Because I've seen zilch about him rejecting Green Bay or New Orleans. Why would he turn down HoF QBs, especially Rodgers who will be around several more years?
  13. I think Isabella has a small chance of going RD 1. I highly doubt he last to the end of RD 2. He is really good, and proved his speed at the combine.
  14. Agreed. Just saying if it was an trade of players +pick, it still might be worth it. Clark is very good and ascending.
  15. Clark is a top pass rusher in the league and young. Hughes is getting old.
  16. If you sign him, yes. If they trade him, it can be whatever the teams agree to. But to trade him, he has to sign the franchise tag.
  17. I wish we would have used the 2nd round tender. Higgins is a good WR. He was injured last year for a couple and Mayfield missed him.
  18. 9.5 sacks as a situational player isn't good?
  19. Vernon's salary is higher than Zeitler's.
  20. I wasn't disputing there could be a work stoppage. I was disputing that claim that it affected trade talks.
