  1. Nice, Cuomo is giving us upstaters COVID infected patients and taking our ventilators. Brilliant!
  2. Cool, so a bunch of people can wait 1 foot apart in a line waiting to enter the store. LOL
  3. Well really, if he wears a mask, the news outlets are going to blast images of him wearing a mask from now until the election. He knows why the media is trying to goad him into wearing a mask. Deranged people who openly wish he would die wouldn’t suddenly have a concern for his health or the health of those around him.
  4. If only he wore one of those masks last year he would have been in the clear!
  5. This post is enshrined in my Hall of Fame of message board posts.
  6. I’m curious whether they claimed the Vikings had a Top 5 roster last year. Their roster was better than Buffalo’s is now. I really don’t buy that the Bills are suddenly Top 5 for getting Diggs. We have a really well coached defense, but don’t have guys that would turn into superstars on other teams. Our secondary is top 5, but our front 7 are still largely unproven and unknown. Mediocre would be generous to our OL. If they claim Allen is this bottom 5 QB, I don’t know how they can justify claiming this is a Top 5 roster. This does seem like angling and posturing to try and level any shortcomings next year at Allen, while discrediting any success as being a product of the “great roster”.
  7. I always preferred the moniker “Sloppy Joe” for Biden. Trump is going to eat him up at the debates!

  10. He seemed to come up big in big moments. I agree with letting Shaq go. Philips will be missed even though he was a liability to the run at times. He will mostly be missed in short yardage and goal line situations. He was huge for us last year in that department. I hope the other guys can step up.
  11. I’m happy he took it to the house. I’ll remember that play for the rest of my life. I’ve already forgotten everything else about that game.
  12. He made big strides last year presnap, but you’re absolutely right that he has room to grow in that area. I can definitely recall plays where he missed that there was an extra rusher. Another thing I think that needs improvement on offense is the screen game. Baltimore was the best example where having a good variety of screens sprinkled in could have really helped out Josh a lot. Singletary is the type of player that would thrive on screen plays.
  13. I wish Buffalo would go back to that shade of blue.
  14. Marv used to say that adversity doesn’t build character, it reveals it. I think Diggs will help reveal what Allen already is. I’ve seen a lot of things from Josh that make me feel he is already one of the top QBs in the NFL. Can anyone really make the argument that Josh is holding the offense back? The only obvious areas of improvement left are cutting down the fumbles when he runs and hitting a couple deep throws. He had no strong players in the supporting cast in 2018 (and few that were even to the level of mediocre). In 2019, he had: Brown who is really like a good #2, but not #1. Beasley who is really like a good #3, but not #2. Singletary who showed promise as a rookie. His limited options force him to have to make plays that are of a much higher degree of difficulty than what most QBs in the NFL face. I can’t imagine there are many (if any) QBs last year that could have got the Bills to the playoffs with that supporting cast.
  15. Sending love and prayers to you and your loved ones in this difficult time. I think I speak to a lot of us when I say that this is a special place to me as well. I’m in the younger crowd and I’m always fascinated to read contributions from those that witnessed all or nearly all of the Bills history. While the Bills team has let us down over and over, Bills fans almost never let me down. Rest in peace.
  16. So are the Jets back to being a dumpster fire?
  17. TDs itself seems like a bad area to argue against Allen in. He was top 10 in NFL in total TDs. Given his skillset he can run a decent amount in with less risk than putting the ball in the air. IMO there were already very few QBs that could have gotten us to the playoffs last year. Josh was a workhorse and was basically our whole offense. The biggest obstacle for Josh is Daboll. He killed a lot of drives with bad playcalling or run, run, pass. Josh converts a ton of 3rd and longs that hide Daboll’s inadequacy.
  18. 250ypg passing QB Rating >= 90 CMP% >= 60%
  19. The deep ball thing is overblown at this point. Some marginal stat improvements and he can boast the numbers of a long term starter: QB rating >= 90 (He was 85 last year) 250ypg passing (He was 193 last year) 60% CMP (He was 58.8 last year) Basically, if he can build on last year by replacing 1 3&out per game with a successful drive he will likely prove to be the long term answer. He was on the cusp of clearly being the franchise guy last year. He was just short of beating NE twice and winning a playoff game.
  20. Awww they never have weiners. ?
  21. I definitely agree that the arrow points upward. I’m more or less making the case that IF we wind up under .500 next season, I think it would more likely be due to OL issues and/or lack of depth at receiver (in the case of an injury to one of our top 3) than Allen’s level of play.
  22. Honestly, my eyes still haven’t seen the drop off in Brady that others claim to see. From early last season Brady was making noise about how upset he was with his supporting cast. That was VERY uncharacteristic of Tom. He wasn’t getting anywhere near the time in the pocket that he used to get. I don’t think the money in the literal sense matters to him. However, being asked to take a pay cut was like a slap in the face to him, a sign of disrespect. If the Pats signed Diggs... maybe Brady stays in spite of all that? Brady has been saltier than ever. I think he is ****ed off that everyone is saying he has fallen off physically when he hasn’t. Let me just state that I hate Brady, think he is an overrated system QB and think he will struggle on a team that isn’t built on cheating. However, I don’t see the drop off in his physical ability that others claim to see. Still throws with the same zip as before and has shown more mobility as a runner in recent years than he did early in his career. I think he is in for a rude awakening playing under a coach other than Bellicheck.
  23. He had more reliable hands than Knox.
