The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Troll Toll replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
FIFY Trump is the only person who has seemed to do anything right in the last 30 years. He is not perfect, but he is lightyears better than anyone I’ve seen in the oval office in my lifetime. -
Now Cuomo is upset other states won’t pay his state’s unfunded pensions lolololol. How can NYS waste that huge tax money year after year after year? Stupid is as stupid does. Maybe NY should stop “non-essential” spending???

Hmmm... lady with job essentially tells everyone to tough it out without a job indefinitely!? This thing isn’t necessarily ever going completely away. People have to toughen up and act responsibly as things open up. My mom was diagnosed with cancer last summer and can’t get the cancer treatments she was scheduled for because of the measures that have been put in place. Is it the governor’s fault that this lady’s facility still hasn’t figured out better ways to go about daily operations when we are months into this thing?

Did he? I thought he had an absentee vote for Hillary in the last election. -

Thanks so much @Buffalo_Gal for posting the briefing notes every day! I don’t always get to catch them because of work and you really do a tremendous job filling me in! -

I for one support the Yankees, regardless of the topic creator’s stance. -

Considering we don’t know the real numbers out of China... I hesitate to accept that Europe has a “deadlier” strain. I also wouldn’t be shocked if there was a great disparity in quality of care among different regions. In NYC, people don’t seem to care as much about each other. Probably true of many densely populated areas. -
What happened to the wonder boy from a year ago? (Rams coach)

Worth a shot since he came from a clueless Marrone team. Look at how his USC teammate Robert Woods has done since leaving Marrone.

People like you are the reason I will never vote for a Democrat ever again. -
They want to look pretty before they get ****ed.

Allen is the most notable. I thought we were f***ed when Darnold was off the board. I moreso thought there was no way our staff could develop him. I thought we needed a more well finished product.

He was on a stacked Florida State team and couldn’t seem to throw for 300 yards in a game. He turned out the same in the pros. I’m fully on board with Josh btw. I don’t want to give the wrong impression with the 300 yard comment. It was like a car crash you couldn’t look away from. Chan kept refusing to draft a guy to replace Fitz. Then the Bills committed to drafting a QB in the first long before the draft, only to have an epically bad QB class at their feet. We KNEW they were going to draft an awful QB in the first and there was nothing we could do.

What's a unique/hot draft take that you hold to?

Last year’s WR class is better than this year’s WR class -

There are millions of people that were living paycheck to paycheck BEFORE the virus. Now the paychecks have stopped. They don’t have months to just cross their fingers and hope for the best. -

I’m calling it now. With these differing reopen dates between states, the first states to open will be flooded with job applications from people in locked down states. If Democrat governors get too cute with their dates, people will flee their states at even greater rates. -

Libs can’t seem to remember the Coronavirus events from the past 3.5 months accurately. To expect them to remember how much their polls were off 3.5 years ago seems like a stretch. -

I’ve heard that they’ve been turning away people that don’t appear to be “sick enough”. Are they following up on these people? -

This also explains why New York is so bad if they are turning away thousands of COVID patients because they “aren’t sick enough yet”. Can’t blame that on Trump. -

If they refused to test these people while they were alive, why would they add them to the count? Not a good look for our health care system! Families of those should have a case for negligence if their dead family member was denied a test for COVID and now docs are making the determination that it was a COVID death. -

Constantly changing the goalposts on this makes it difficult for the average person to follow. I think more people are worried about their job situation and being able to shelter and feed their family than who is the president. When you appear to be manipulating numbers in a way that will be used to justify keeping people from earning a living, people get angry. How many people are possibly getting infected via the mail, regardless of social distancing? Do we really know and understand ALL the ways this thing is spreading? Seems like folks are getting infected regardless of social distancing. Is having another Great Depression where tens of millions will suffer better than risking a Coronavirus spike?
