  1. I think the real questions we need to ask are: If walls not being 100% effective classifies them as an outdated technology that we shouldn’t use, are masks 100% effective and if not, should we use them? Is it sociophobic or racist to wear masks? How do masks make people feel?
  2. Assuming Trump gets re-elected in 2020, will the leftist zombies waste another 4 years of their lives posting their baseless hatred on here? I started visiting this section of TBD for the great coronavirus updates people post, but I probably won’t stick around once this dies down. I can’t imagine being a useful idiot for the left. You aren’t going to convince any conservatives to switch sides when your arguments have no merit (everything is based on feelings and -isms) and you push partisan investigations that are obvious hoaxes like “Russia!”. Until you actually have a compelling argument in the issues that decide elections, nobody is going to take you seriously or even remotely consider switching to the left.
  3. This thread is now about who would do Gugny. Personally, I would grab him by the seams and go to town.
  4. The “something wrong” would likely be the Patriots cheating. It will be frustrating when Stidham essentially replaces Brady’s production and people start gushing about Stidham. Nobody took a step back and questioned anything when Cassell and Garropolo lit it up in New England. If Brady sucks in Tampa, people will write it off as due to his age.
  5. A lot can happen. They are good enough to win a Super Bowl barring an injury to Allen. It is usually a very thin line separating Super Bowl winners from Wild Card teams. Just look at how close Tennessee was to heading to the big dance. We BEAT Tennessee last year. They ran into a buzzsaw in KC. KC was one of those exceptions where they truly outclassed everyone else, but they were very fortunate from an injury perspective as well. If Tyreek Hill or Kelce is out, I think we can take KC. I could also see NE taking the division AGAIN! I can’t believe people are writing them off. If NE takes the division then we could miss out on playoffs. McDermott still has to prove he can beat them. If we’ve taken the leap where we sweep the division, then we should definitely be thinking Super Bowl.
  6. Like most Democrats, she comes across as a power hungry sociopath weaponizing “political correctness” to usurp even more power and rights from citizens.
  7. Haha, yeah I just got roped into watching too many awful Floyd “fights” my friends wanted to see. It was always like watching two guys go for a light jog.

  9. I’d love to see him knock out Mayweather.
  10. So much of that perception can come from a defense that has the benefit of playing with a lead. We frequently struggle to get off to a quick start. I think if we build up some early leads we could see the turnovers and sacks get a nice bump up. Kind of depends on how conservative McD and Frazier would play with a lead though.
  11. Come on man, think of the mosquitoes you may be infecting with COVID.
  12. It is unfortunate, this rule was really succeeding in exposing corruption. Why can’t refs make the correct call when they are obviously wrong? Rules like these over time would have forced more accountability. Sad to see the NFL going backwards.
  13. Wasn’t March 12 the day he instituted the European travel ban? The same ban that saved countless lives and was OPPOSED by the left?
  14. That is what I don’t get. Retired folks can lock up if they want to and collect social security. Why do we still have to act like this is fatal for everyone?
  15. They cheat and that makes them a tough opponent regardless of their roster. They’ve also basically been allowed to hold as much as they want without getting called. It will be interesting to see if that was done by the refs to protect Brady (now that he’s gone) or if that tradition continues. When you don’t play under the same rules, the team can be competitive.
  16. I think these folks took notice last year that Buffalo is a compelling team for PrimeTime games. When you look around the NFL, there really aren’t that many interesting teams. Buffalo has some buzz now as an AFC East favorite as well. I prefer the 1pm games like most others, but I’d say there is a very high likelihood we see this one at night.
  17. Happy birthday!! Perhaps one day I’ll make it out to the lot ?

  19. Then there are crosswalk lights that say to walk, while still giving green lights to cars at the intersection... those just seem downright dangerous.
  20. Yeah, with summer around the corner hopefully we get a reprieve.
  21. Well they say you have to start people on it early for it to be effective. I also heard some doctors are using it as a prophylactic (i.e. to prevent getting the virus). It would be interesting to know what the rate of COVID infection is amongst the population that was already on HCQ for other uses (prior to the outbreak) vs the general population.
  22. The swamp is deep and the swamp is wide. To blame Trump is a misstep for this whistleblower. Trump didn’t pull HCQ out of thin air. I don’t doubt that there is a lot of corruption and malfeasance at the HHS. The main idea coming from Trump is that we should try SOMETHING, rather than NOTHING due to bureaucratic overhead. Is there something better than HCQ that isn’t being tried, but should be? Either HCQ is being promoted by someone with something to gain, or it is because it is in fact the most promising treatment so far. I would question how “dangerous” it is since it has been around for 70 years, passed clinical trials for other uses, and is fairly widely used. Seems like a low risk / high reward option for trying to get something that can help. Is this “whistleblower” just another swamp creature who was trying to push something else for personal gain? There simply isn’t enough evidence to say who has ulterior motives behind their actions in this crisis.
  23. Sounds like you’re the one celebrating a rising death count.
  24. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
  25. No, the doctors have said she is currently on one of the only plans that covers the treatment (the COBRA plan from where she worked is a really good plan). Medicare limits your options for coverage significantly, so she may not be able to get on a plan that will cover it. It is a double whammy with the government forcing the shutdown and extending it long enough until they can force her to have to use Medicare. She also HAS to be on one of the better Medicare plans because her chemo drugs cost $15000 a month. Those drugs are generally covered under non-Medicare plans for $60 a month.
