My intuition while listening to Dan was basically what it turned out Kurt said. I don’t have any real knowledge of this stuff, but I questioned why Dan would make those assumptions. I will agree with Dan’s general point though, that Allen needs to have a plan pre-snap. I don’t think it is that complicated, but it will take time for him to learn.

Josh is infinitely more promising than former Bills QBs from the standpoint that we know he can deliver accurate passes. The crazy pass rush he has faced has lowered his completion percentage considerably, but I have full confidence that given time he can deliver strikes. I just hope they are teaching him the presnap adjustments.

Bills vs. Packers Post Game Thread

On another note, I don’t think Darnold or Rosen really look any better than Allen today. Hopefully he can learn from this game. One thing I didn’t like was that it kind of seemed like he gave up in the fourth quarter by his demeanor on the bench. I wish he would have been looking at the Tablet and trying to figure out a way to win. The game was not out of reach. -
Would you rather have: Mahomes or both Allen & Tre?
Troll Toll replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There’s no reason Allen can’t be better than Mahomes. So I’ll go Allen and Tre. Mahomes has had it easy up to this point. Let’s see how he does when he loses some weapons and protection. Allen is looking good with no help and a relatively inexperienced NFL HC and OC. Get him some help and look out! -
Mike McCarthy calls Allen a 'stud'

Is he saying he wants to bang our QB? -
Belichick: "What it takes to win" hasn't changed

I think they were basically just as good with Matt Cassell. At the end of the day, the cheating they employ is obvious. Much like Cassell, Brady would suck on other teams. Why are these QBs only good in New England? Cheating, plain and simple. They know the other team’s play on defense, they keep a radio going to the QB, tell him when a pass rusher is coming and tell him where to go with the ball during the play. It’s easy to play QB in that system. -
Bills did make the playoffs last year. Despite fan perception, I’d say Allen is incredibly lucky to be in Buffalo over AZ. I think history will show that this year’s Cardinals are a complete dumpster fire. Losing Bruce Arians was huge.

Great, nothing I like more than being nagged for 3 hours while watching football. In all seriousness, women football fanatics come across as phony to me. I think it is because when us guys were little we would dream of playing in the NFL. When we watch as grown men, we live vicariously through these players. I don’t believe these chicks ever dreamed of playing in the NFL, nor do I think they have a true appreciation for how incredible these athletes are. I guess what I’m trying to say is that in a good announcer there is this underlying deep, lifelong love of the sport. Most female fans I’ve encountered come across as though they are fans because they want to gain daddy’s or some guy’s approval.

I would wait and see what Rosen does in AZ before heaping all the blame on Bradford. AZ has new coaching, a really bad offensive line and a lack of talent at receiver.

I was impressed with the Daboll/Allen combo. I definitely saw some Patriot-esque qualities and it gives me hope going forward. You could tell Allen absorbed and learned nuances that Daboll had coached. It seems small, but I was really impressed with Allen’s touch, trajectory, and placement on short throws and screens. It seemed like he did a tremendous job putting his backs and receivers in a position for YAC. I think the staff must be hammering him with the technique to use on each of these throws. Huge improvement from last week.

Alabama would beat the Buffalo Bills, 'analysts' say

Here is the easiest example why this take is completely wrong... Nathan Peterman beat the same Clemson team that beat Alabama in the National Championship. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Limited Excitement

Allen was respectable, and despite all the sacks, the line did a better job than I expected. Hopefully Josh can continue to grow each game. I love that he took chances when we were down big and got us back “in” the game by doing so. Tyrod was often helpless in those situations. -
Predict Josh Allen's stats vs LA.

Solid first outing from Allen, he’ll look a lot better if the D doesn’t lay an egg. It’s impressive considering the Chargers basically knew we were throwing the whole game and were teeing off on the kid. -

Take a chance on him for Allen. He is literally the best receiver in the NFL when on the field and Allen has no help. -
This has the makings of a classic upset game: 1. Nobody thinks the Bills have a chance... I’m betting we wind up getting favorable officiating 2. Josh Allen is probably prepping like you wouldn’t believe 3. Revenge game for last year’s thrashing 4. West Coast team traveling East 5. Trap game for Chargers 6. Fired up fans and team for Allen’s first start I think somehow we beat the spread and the win comes down to a coin toss.

Not sure why there is so much Gruden hate. He got his players up for the game (unlike McD) and they hung in there against a SB favorite until late. 2 1sts for Mack from a bad team like the Bears (plus not having that monster contract) is an absolute steal. That Raiders squad played with more passion than I’ve seen from the Bills in 20 years.

It’s tough when Joesickpecker keeps ramming it down my throat.

Oh yeah! I think the Bills defense is going to be worse than a Yeezy thread and as solid as Joe’s stool... errm... 6 pack.

I may have something to say about that!
