  1. The drop stats are way off, imo if the ball hits your hands and you don’t catch it, that should count as a drop.
  2. For sure, this isn’t New England. What I mean by that is we have Josh ******* Allen. He can make any throw anywhere, just surround him with receivers that can dominate DBs downfield and in the intermediate range and it will be chunk plays and scores all over. Fitting Josh into a short, precision passing system would unnecessarily handcuff him from his potential. I think if we get him 2 receivers that could be considered #1 guys then he could lead the top passing attack in the league.
  3. I feel like we just have a bunch of #3 receivers and they are getting pumped up because of how well Allen played down the stretch. Foster’s hands scare me, he seems to bobble a lot of passes that are right on the money.
  4. I bet if there was a study on those players you would find they commit higher rates of domestic abuse too. I just don’t get how anyone can laud those plays. There is no courage in them, they are gutless plays.
  5. As a player, I always thought those plays were the equivalent of a sucker punch or attacking someone from behind. No honor in those plays, glad to see them gone. It is in the same vein as laying out a defenseless receiver. There is just no need for those potentially life altering plays, let alone rewarding the players who prey on the defenseless.
  6. I remember the reports around draft day being that Browns were either taking Allen or Mayfield. Still, that could have been a smokescreen knowing that the Bills really liked Allen and could give up some really good picks for the #1 spot. For the record, I think we got the best one.
  7. If it were me... I would likely try to trade down from 9 and spend early picks on WR and OL. It may seem odd to some given the focus on those positions in FA, but our biggest weakness right now is still in those areas. If we start picking defense at 9 and it turns out our offense still can’t stay on the field, what good is that? IMO putting together an offense that can score and force the other team’s offense to be one dimensional is more valuable to the defense than any player at 9. We need to start building leads in games, not expecting our defense to pitch shutouts.
  8. Rosen sucks and is a total bust, let us never speak of him again.
  9. Where the heck is this coming from? The guy was basically our entire offense down the stretch and performed exceptionally. Now you’re ready to draft another QB if we don’t make the playoffs next year? As far as I’m concerned, the WRs, OL, RBs and run defense have more to prove than Allen at this point. We still don’t have proven impact players at skill positions.
  10. Honestly, he won me over in the first preseason game. He was aggressive and a threat to ANY area of the field. I was against drafting him, but he changed my mind quickly. What he did with the worst supporting cast in the NFL last year was phenomenal. He is definitely a franchise QB. Bills still need to draft more offense with their early picks.
  11. GRABBERT??? I hardly know her!
  12. To me the big question is whether or not Baker Mayfield will implode. He tends to give off this over-emotional, immature vibe rather than the even keeled leader teams typically desire.
  13. Marvin was a threat in the whole route tree. Evans could mainly just get open deep and catch uncontested passes. He was a non-factor when he went to the Ravens. My post was not insinuating Losman was some great QB. Losman’s only strength was the deep ball, which matched Evans’ only strength. When Evans played with QBs who struggled with the deep pass he seemed to disappear. Without Losman his numbers reflected those of a modest #3 receiver, catching less than 50 passes almost every year without him.
  14. I kind of feel that Losman made Evans look better than he was. Evans did not play above his size or fight for the ball well. He had reliable hands, but didn’t offer much after the catch unless he was already behind the defense.
  15. My guess is just that the level of consistent athleticism they face at the Pro Level becomes overwhelming. Once teams find an athletic weakness they probably just exploit it to no end.
  16. I think it may be a little different than that... I’m thinking they recognize the BPA at 9 will likely be defense, but they could miss out on the best WRs by their 2nd round pick.
  17. Or he can make good on his threat and retire...
  18. Hopefully he gets released and lowered his value enough for the Bills to sign. I’ve never seen an effort issue from him on the field and he already got paid so...
  19. There’s a good number of receivers I like for the Bills: 1. AJ Brown 2. DK Metcalf 3. Hakeem Butler 4. Parris Campbell 5. Andy Isabella
  20. I would take AJ Brown at 9, to me he is head and shoulders above the rest of the class and will be a perennial Pro Bowler. He is the total package, doing everything exceptionally well. Football awareness and IQ is off the charts Incredible acceleration and speed in the open field Great hands One of the strongest at 230 pounds and he plays tough and physical Top effort on every down Durable Plays with a massive chip on his shoulder If possible, pair him up with Hakeem Butler in the 2nd...
  21. I mean I don’t know how one side can claim to be environmentally conscious AND be okay with millions and millions of people flowing into the country every year. Show me a country with a billion people and I’ll show you a polluted wasteland.
  22. Show me some fatsos climbing over the wall. Walls work. The first thing they try to do to come here is to just simply walk in. It has to be harder than that. The solution starts with a wall and progresses from there. As long as you literally let people walk in, they will continue to do so.
