I think most QBs would have laid an egg in Josh’s situation today. Our running game brought nothing to the table. We don’t have great weapons in the receiving game. Josh made many perfect throws and some throws that possibly only Mahomes can make. This team lost to Philly and Cleveland earlier in the year. We’re trending upward. The Patriots were celebrating in a way that came across like they beat a team they weren’t supposed to.

I’m seeing marked improvement in Josh on almost a weekly basis. Today he: 1. Hit some deep balls 2. Beat the all out blitz 3. Hung in the pocket better

I think the worst was when McClappy had to run 30 yards up field and get in a ref’s face to get a timeout because the ref pretends not to see him and wanted the Pats to get an easy TD.

This guy gets it! No need to give away what you would do in a playoff game from the Bills vantage point. We went super vanilla and went the distance. This was the best possible outcome and a blessing in disguise for most fans. Now Bills can rest players if they want to against the Jets and the Jets won’t have motivation of costing us the division. We can treat Week 17 like a Bye. Our Bye was very early this season and our guys could use a rest. I would hate to exhaust our guys against the Jets, only to have New England squash Miami and take the division anyways.

If the Dolphins beat the Pats in this scenario... the way this season has gone you can’t discount the possibility that the Jets upset our squad as well.

I like having Gore to run out the clock with a lead. Despite lackluster performances as of late, he has been very important this season with regard to closing out games.

Jack Meh Hoff and I always get sleepy.

This team is built like a classic championship team: Stifling defense, a competent running game and a QB that can make a handful of spectacular plays in a game. If Allen can have a Flacco-like run in the playoffs, then we could be talking Super Bowl.

We match up well with New England... but the offense needs to be better than last time.

I noticed the same thing. I like John Brown and all, but when are people going to realize that his increased production is due to Allen? Brown has not really been making spectacular grabs, Allen puts the ball right on the numbers more often than not. A lot of Brown’s production is on throws Allen makes that many other QBs can’t.

I give him a B+. My main gripe is the near fumbles and batted passes. I put the INT all on Beasley. Josh saved an offense that couldn’t get out of its own way: drive killing drops, a drop that turned into a pick, fumbles, conservative Gore play-calling. If last night was the Super Bowl, either Josh or Tre White would’ve been MVP. For that reason, it is hard to give him below a B.

Hopefully Daboll and Allen can start figuring out how to beat the blitz. Other QBs would feast on all those blitzes.

To keep things in perspective, at the time we didn’t think the Giants were dumb enough to draft a RB at 2. The Jets trade made it seem like the the top 3 QBs would be gone in picks 1, 2, and 3 and we were going to miss out on a QB despite all of our “draft capital”.

I like that we at least have an identity, unlike most of the NFL.

Exactly, I’m surprised how many get swept up in the hype. They were saying the same things about Vick in Philly. Passing stats don’t tell the whole story. Allen is doing some next level stuff in the passing game that other young QBs in the NFL aren’t. Allen’s trajectory is incredible. He has already caught up to and surpassed the other QBs in his draft as a passer, despite how far behind them he was supposed to be. Lamar can’t learn to run faster. Lamar is probably pretty close to his ceiling right now. Josh is looking more and more like he will grow into a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady that can run. Get Josh some more receiving weapons!

Between Allen, Mahomes, Lamar, and Deshaun... Josh is by far the most intelligent. You win over the long haul in the NFL with your brain. I have more confidence in Allen to figure out how to beat the cream of the crop defensive gameplans you see in the playoffs than the other guys.

Weird how Ben didn’t really improve much through his career. 2019 Brady is still better than 2004 Brady.

I send my well wishes your way. My mom got diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and it is hard to not feel envious of people I know that are 30-40 years older than me who still have their folks around.

I always assumed it was the reporter.

I do not watch the Offensive Line intensely like others on here do... That said, as a casual observer, the OL is performing far better than last year and Ford is a massive upgrade from Jordan Mills.

I had a feeling before the Eagles game that we would lose. Today I have a feeling we blow out the Ravens. I can’t explain it.
