Look Josh is a firey guy with his play but he also loves his teammates too much to call them out and criticize them. Every team needs that guy who gets in players faces when they just aren’t playing well. The Bills honestly really don’t kinda have that. And it shouldn’t have to be all on Josh he’s the freaking team. Get Steff Diggs to start calling out some these guys on the sidelines he seems like a good candidate.

Connor McGovern Injury ????????????????

The Bills interior play is much better. It’s the tackles that are the concern and also James Cook getting bouncey and not the hitting holes that where actually opened for him see his 2nd and 4 debacle -
People might remember a few years back when the Eagles under Chip Kelly were literally routing teams in preseason the regular season didn’t work out that way. I get the feeling this Steelers team is in for a similar deal.

Josh Allen and starters will play against the Bears

Many teams starters are playing this week with no 4th game and a full 15 plus days between games. The only one I don’t think is playing is Dak Prescott and Cowboys fans hardly notice anyway. -
TRADE: Arizona ships Simmons to Giants for a 7th

They sooo want Caleb Williams or Drake Maye next year it isn’t even funny. Next thing they’ll just tuck any comeback attempt by Kyler to IR where he can sell sports bras full time till he’s released next year even with his dead cap hit. -
They need an experienced swing tackle can’t hurt.

Has anyone checked on Louis Riddick? (Trey Lance news...)

The 49ers who are as well run an organization as there is in the league and have one of the best QB coaches in Brian Griese and One of the best Offensive Minds in Kyle Shannahan believe a guy who was a bust with the Jets and Panthers and Mr Irrelevant are better QBs. I don’t need anymore proof. For every Josh Allen there are 5 Blake Bortles it happens they missed they moved on. -
That’s what I meant even though I worded it wrong 2024 is basically his last year and his dead cap hit is literally nothing compared to what the cap will be come that time in addition Diggs ironically is around 2025 very tradeable if they wanted as well. They have 10 picks next year so replacing these guys isn’t that difficult if Beane hits on his picks
-
Morris retirement, Poyer cut and restructures to Deon and Trey and they are just fine. Von is really on the last year of his deal as his dead cap hit after 2024 is nonexistent Allen is now the tenth highest paid QB in the league. I can easily live with a bunch of draft picks on D since the Vets have a hard time with a QB with a pulse anyway.

There isn’t a linebacker in the league who could cover him now. -

I hope people aren’t talking about trading for this guy he just can’t play and against a defense with a pulse looks like he belongs in the XFL. -
People see that high draft pick and think well he’s a player. He was never that good. The Jets other than Wilson have quite a few questions on offense now. Alan Lazard as the number 2 kinda makes me chuckle for all the flack Gabe takes he’s light years better at number 2 than Lazard is.

Van Demark, a "Model" Fit for the Bills OL?
78thealltimegreat replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know if you watch his snaps in preseason he looks terrific. I don’t think he’s an immediate starter but he has a chance to develop into something. -
Nuggets of Infor From Bills Practice 8/22
78thealltimegreat replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Penalties before the snap should never happen that is on the player not paying attention to detail. How the Bills or any team can have presnap penalties on the oline is beyond me. They know Josh uses a hard count to pickup cheap yards on the dline trying to anticipate the count. Almost like they don’t even practice. -

Thad is pretty open about the fact he is a lifelong jets fan must be weird for him to cover the bills. -
Allen had 2 incompletions in his 3 drives. It doesn’t explain the fact James Cook on second and 4 couldn’t pickup a single yard. Or Spencer Brown on a simple WR Screen gets called for a block in the back. Or when he drops back to pass Dawkins allows Highsmith to look like the second coming of Greg Lloyd. You sound like Matt Perino who thinks every single problem with this team is Josh Allen. Just pray 17 doesn’t miss any games or you’ll find out the hard way what life was like before he got here. Here’s a hint it sucked badly.

Colts grant Jonathan Taylor’s request to seek trade
78thealltimegreat replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
No team is giving the Colts a 1 then again this is a team with arguably the worst owner and GM in the league who thought Carson Wentz could still play and gave the Eagles a first and second for him. -
Buffalo will jackhammer them. The Jets should get better and be a real threat after Halloween as for Aaron Rogers sake there is some oline cohesion by then. The Bills have had to stew on the Bengals game…now the Steelers game…and every negative comment the national media has made about them. The only cure for this is a 34-17 win in New Jersey.

Buck/Aikman's "preview" of Bills-Jets on ESPN
78thealltimegreat replied to MWK's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll tell ya though watching this game with mute on Terry Mclaurin is arguably the most underrated receiver in football. My goodness next year Caleb Williams or Drake Maye already has a number 1 receiver in place. -

Look ESPN has an agenda the Bills are an afterthought the Jets are the shiny new object. Espn is in such bad shape financially they are looking for the NfL and NBA to invest in the network.
