Josh did have a 70 percent completion percentage but his 3 ints really would cloud any positive judgments out of this game. He has to absolutely know by now teams aren’t going to give him the homerun throw anymore and the book on him is he will get frustrated and try to play hero ball. Whether Dorsey is the right guy to fix that is anyone’s guess.

Week 2, Rayduhs v. Bills - Predict the Score

Josh Allen and his 70 percent completion percentage will be the Josh of old and throw for 300 and get 3 tds. Bills pass rush should get home on Jimmy G and cause him issues as the Raiders oline is as bad as the Jets. Brandon Jacobs will break off a few let the raiders shrink the game but it won’t matter. 31-14 Buffalo -
Interesting ESPN article (re Allen): death of the deep ball
78thealltimegreat replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall
A great find Josh needs to realize defenses have him booked don’t let the safeties get beat deep and he will get frustrated and try to force it. Like Peyton told him it’s going to be boring football either you learn to adjust or your days in the nfl will be numbered for a guy who does -
Good evaluation you made me take a second look at the second int and I really didn’t notice but as Josh is throwing the ball he really did have his arm slightly hit by Williams as Morse just got blown up and it probably altered the throw a little also Sherfield on the play was basically supposed to decoy the safety away the safety said he ain’t throwing to him and concentrated solely on Diggs. Josh had his bad plays but maybe not as bad as I first thought.

Week 2 Bills vs Raiders Home Opener!
78thealltimegreat replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Raiders appear a bit banged up I expect a heavy dose of Brandon Jacobs this week to try to shrink the game. On the other side Patrick Graham is from the hoodie coaching tree and was dcoordinator with the Fins in Josh’s second year so Josh is familiar with the kind defense they run The Raiders do have Maxx Crosby if they can neutralize him the Bills o should be able to take advantage. Bills should absolutely win this game comfortably if 17 takes care of the ball. -
Didn’t Brady win 7 Super Bowls? Why thank you for the compliment.

I have to remember the title has to be extremely specific to please Simon so I just have to remember despite putting in the title I am onto week 2…I must also put in the title in regards to week 2 of the nfl season what games are you looking forward to… as I could see how that title could easily be confused with discussing the English Premier League or possibly a recap of the first week of Sabres training camp my bad.

What will happen with Josh over the next month?
78thealltimegreat replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
You aren’t wrong till recently Beanes been able to get away with short changing the oline to load up on defense. It’s caught up to them. Josh played terrible but I think there’s something about his mindset when he plays the Jets he just can’t help himself. -
Yeh Giuseppe there’s a clip making the rounds after his second int of the Manning cast where Peyton basically says Josh is liar and Josh told him he was going to take what the D gave him. I think if he plays a very boring conservative style I think the Bills can win both games from rosters alone. With the Dolphins he needs his A+ game as they are going to need 30 points to win minimum

I’ve done my complaining and onto the Raiders but aside from the Bills game what games are you most looking forward to in week 2 cause there is some good ones. Vikings Eagles Chiefs Jaguars Jets Cowboys Pats Dolphins I am really looking forward to the Jets Cowboys as Micah Parsons Vs Zach Wilson and the Jets oline he may not make it out of the second quarter

Josh is one the most talented QBs in the history of the league but the book is out on him sit your safeties back and he will get frustrated and play hero ball. It’s up to him to fix it and after being called a liar by Payton Manning I think he’ll be fine. The team gets Von Miller back by the end of the month but stopping the rushing attacks seems to still be an issue. This is still a double digit win team but I’ll know more about them when Miami comes to town at the end of the month.

Cam Newton Started To Regress in Year 6
78thealltimegreat replied to uticaclub's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mahomes was in his system for a year before he even set foot on the field and had a ready made playoff team. Allen started his second game because they lost 47-3 to the Ravens opening day and pretty much tore the roster apart. They are not the same deal. -
That’s what I fear Beaver some team says the Bills mismanaged this guy and trades for him and he goes lights out elsewhere then we are stuck waiting for hockey season for another 3 years while we wait for a young QB to “mature”. Justin Fields is proof also there isn’t that famous a number 1 receiver jump in a QBs 3rd year either. If not Shannahan can you imagine Sean Mcvay getting his hands on Allen as the Rams will do wacky things like that once Matt Stafford is done in a year or two.

He literally got called a liar by Peyton Manning during the Manning cast about telling him he was going to take what the D gave him. He’ll be fine he is literally being looked at as a national embarrassment right now as he literally single handedly lost them the game. He’ll settle down and within a month be throwing for 350 yards and 3 TDs against the fins -

I think Daniel Jones had two turnovers including a pick 6 -
Josh is going to get Ken Dorsey fired if it’s true the throws were there and he just looked them off that’s on him. But what I do fear most of all is a team like the 49ers trading for him in a year or two if the Bills decide to pull the plug and letting a staff with Griese and Shannahan telling him do this and the 49ers forming an 80s dynasty and the Bills rebuilding with another rookie QB and going into the wilderness for the next few years.

Daboll is a terrible coach he just lost 40-0 at home with a qb making more money than Allen. Allen’s problem is he thinks he needs to play hero ball all the freaking time -

Wouldn’t this have shown up before he he’s had 177 touchdowns?
