The Steelers have got to be the luckiest franchise in the sport. Getting a rain soaked field and Tyler Huntley when you have to win a game. -
OT…Cooper Dejean has declared for the draft
78thealltimegreat replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes he is that good as in he missed the last two games with an injury and their bowl game and was still a unanimous first team All American good. He also has a side benefit of being the best punt returner in the draft and considering how awful the Bills special teams have been this year that’s an added bonus. -
OT…Cooper Dejean has declared for the draft

Oh I agree with Davis all but gone they need two high level receivers who can play right away but if they say land a Michael Pittman in free agency a player like cooper would tempt them enough with their age at safety and he can also play lb and corner. That they can turn around and say add a Ladd Mconkey or Johnny Wilson in round 2. If the Bills wound up with Mckonkey and Dejean you could backfill depth on defense and oline with the other picks and be set. -
I’m like Jeremy White on WGR I am seriously on WR train this off season in round 1 but if there is one defensive player who I would honestly think about taking it would be this guy. Prior to his injury he was basically a one man secondary at Iowa.

I was just wondering and I really couldn’t find much research on it as if anyone on the board had any stats on this but it doesn’t appear the Bills receivers draw many defensive holding or pass interference calls like some other teams. I honestly can’t even remember the last time one of the Bills receivers drew a flag Im sure they have but just can’t remember them generating many meaningful PI calls recently.

He has 66 catches and around 600 yards which is damn good for a rookie TE. Considering he really didn’t get a majority of the TE work since Knox was the number 1 till he got hurt. He needs to get down the field more that’s more play design than anything. A full off season and he’ll be good

Man Tua then Dak then Trevor…pushing Josh to the 13th highest paid QB for the next couple years. The fins don’t really have a choice but to sign Tua what are they going to do go through the draft process or maybe sign a Kurt Cousins?

Can Khalil Shakir be WR2 next season?
78thealltimegreat replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Khalil is a natural 3 receiver who has a nice game to him. The number 2 has to be a vertical threat who can gain separation. The thing is Josh has a little Matt Ryan in him from his prime days he would just constantly heave up balls to Julio Jones and say go get it sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t. Josh needs that kind of receiver. -
Bills one of the more popular teams in all sports
78thealltimegreat replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills have always had a ton of closet fans from the Super Bowl days….but with Allen being one the leagues legit superstars he’s taken their popularity to a whole new level. The Bills have a very Atlanta Braves feel to them where you always hear about the popularity of the Yankees, Red Sox, and Dodgers but the Braves fanbase is nationwide as well much like the Bills. Just listen sometime to WGR where many of their callers are from different parts of the country. -
Need a capable backup quarterback next season.

Wanna laugh but I can easily see Mitch Trubisky back in Buffalo next year -
It’s the team around him till this year he was the running game. If he were with another team with say an Andy Reid or Kyle Shannahan calling the plays he’d already have a Super Bowl it’s the Bills front office which has always been a defense first bunch. You ain’t kidding when I just rewatched the game he missed on maybe 6 or 7 of his throws and he had drops on the other half. I thought like all these people did at first that he just had a rough game and he had a few throws he flat out missed but the where others where his receivers just flat out sucked.

Disagree his team fails him way more than he has ever failed his team. Like I said for those of us that went through the EJ Manuel and Jeff Tuel and Trent Edwards years he makes this franchise a joy to watch when he calls it quits I’m probably done with the bills and watch my wife’s team the cowboys instead at least I know the refs are in their back pocket.

Last 4 games WR's average 107 yards total per game
78thealltimegreat replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
My honest opinion is these guys have trouble getting separation teams anymore are jamming the WRs at the line of scrimmage. In addition Steph Diggs just doesn’t look like the same player. I don’t know if he’s hurt or maybe he’s just starting to wear down or his play is starting to decline faster then anyone thought…but it goes without saying WR is really the biggest priority this off season…that and getting younger on defense. -
Week 18 chat of games needed for Bills to clinch

One thing needs to be remembered about the Jags is they maybe without Trevor Lawrence so that one isn’t a given over Tennessee
