Thats exactly what I’ve been saying a guy with 15 years experience and a guy who worked with Drew Brees for a large part of his career wouldn’t exactly be a bad hire as a QB coach so if Joe Brady got a head coaching job you could slide Carmichael in there as a guy who has called plays for a long time in the league.
-
I didn’t see this posted so forgive me if it was but the Saints canned long time OC Pete Carmichael. He was the guy who Joe Brady started under when he was on Sean Payton’s staff. If Joe is kept I could see a guy like Pete being brought in as QB coach since they are basically using a modified Saints system in Buffalo now and if he leaves you have a guy who has called plays in the league before.

Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

Yeh he either goes for like 150 and 2 TDs or his mom is blaming the entire team why he didn’t catch a pass -
Bills release Fournette from the Practice Squad
78thealltimegreat replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall
How Fournette didn’t start over Murray is anyone’s guess but I’m guessing Leonard might find his way on the Bucs by the end of the week -
Not a Good Weekend for the NFC East
78thealltimegreat replied to Dubie54's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Cowboys were literally running a defense with 210 lbs linebackers. Hoodie makes sense for them. The talk of firing Siranni is ridiculous as he was just in a Super Bowl. Losing both coordinators really hurt them and also Jalen Hurts quite simply is not Josh Allen and anyone who was putting the two of them in the same class shouldn’t be taken seriously as a football analyst again. -

Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

Looks like the Bills secondary and dline are largely ok. LB is the issue of Bernard or Dotson can go it’s not the greatest situation but it’s ok. The O is fully healthy once Gabe plays and even then he just takes targets from Shakir and Kincaid anyway. The Chiefs this year are more reputation than anything if they go against a defense with a pulse they have a hard time. Bills are the better team. Don’t turn the ball over and let Josh take you to the AFC title game. -
Game thread: Philadelphia at Tampa Bay 8 PM ABC/ESPN

Dallas may have been the biggest frauds in football this year but man if the Eagles aren’t number 2 I don’t know who is. Baker Mayfield is headed to the second round the team who released him is sitting at home must feel good. -

Wildcard round - Steelers Bills post game thread

I just noticed the Steelers had in fact the 6th best defense in football this year and the Bills scored the most points on their defense tonight that they had given up all year even with the two field goal botches….impressive -
Josh Allen with another bills record

And putting it even more into perspective Steve played for 15 years 12 as a starter in the nfl Josh has played 6 -
Because Josh doesn’t play defensive end or safety see 13 seconds and I just watched Patrick blow the game at home single handedly to the raiders on Christmas
-
This isn’t a debate Allen is every bit the QB Mahomes is and Mahomes has had one of the great offensive geniuses in the league history building an offense around him since his rookie year. Josh had Ken Dorsey never an OC, Joe Brady great college oc, and Brian Daboll who prior to Josh wasn’t exactly lifting the NfL on fire either.

Our quarterback is quite simply not human that is all -
People around Michigan believe Harbaugh truly wants to stay and be the winningest coach ever at Michigan to do that he’d have to beat Bo Schembechlers wins which currently sits at 194 he has 89 so he’d have to average around 8 or 9 wins a year for the next 15 years or so which is doable with Michigans talent. So Michigan will match any financial offer given to him it’s whether or not he truly feels the Super Bowl is the last frontier for him cause if he does that pretty much ends any hope of him catching Bo being he is now in his 60s. So it’s a big decision indeed.

Let’s give it a pause….We shouldn’t be trashing anyone till maybe we beat Pittsburgh first or we’ll be having the same conversation about our head coach that the cowboys are having about theirs in 24 hours. -

Like I said I’ll take that bet he wants an established QB and a chance to win a lot of games within a couple years to get Shula record he ain’t taking a rebuild like a Washington or Atlanta
