Trade Elam for Treylon Burks
78thealltimegreat replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not bad both would be kinda reclamation projects for their respective rosters. Titans really need secondary help and we have a code red level need to upgrade WR. So this would be an even swap although one thing about Elam if he truly was hurt most of the year he showed enough in the playoffs where he might be worth hanging onto -
What is your unpopular Bills opinion?
78thealltimegreat replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs isn’t a number 1 receiver anymore. Also it’s ok Josh to not be Mr Brightside all the time. I guess in his mind he’s already made it from no scholarship offers to being one of the faces of the league with an A list actress future wife. Dude get angry show more emotion tell your teammates hey make a damn play. It’s ok they make lots of money they can take it. -
Bass Makes $1 Million More per Year Than Butker
78thealltimegreat replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would think at a minimum the Bills would bring in competition for Bass. He just didn’t look right most of the year. -
And? He wasn’t taken till pick 10 meaning nine teams didn’t think enough of Patrick that someone wouldn’t trade up with them. Btw did you see who some of those teams before pick 10 had at Qb? You’re talking the Andy Daltons, Josh Mccowns, and Jimmy Garapolos of the world.
-
Mitch was 2017 and went number 2 overall Patrick went 10 glad I could help
-
But the Bears where and in the Allen draft 4 teams in the top 6 where looking for qb upgrades 5 in the top 10 since that’s where Rosen was selected
-
Why did he fall to 10? Mitch Trubisky went number 2 so 9 teams didn’t think Mahomes was worth their time. Just like 6 teams didn’t think Josh Allen was worth their time including 4 teams in the top 6 who needed qbs

Bills will get Monday Night Football again against the Fins or Pats. Jets has already been done. The annual Chiefs game will be around Thanksgiving. Bills/49ers will be Brady’s debut calling our games. I think the Bills will head to Seattle or Detroit for Sunday Night Football.
-
Like I said you are making mine how do you know Sean McDermott would have developed Mahomes? If you have this much of a problem with him take it up with Beane and Pegula
-
Chris has one of the easiest jobs in the league. He just asks Andy what players he wants for his system and then can concentrate on defense and he’s found some real gems I loved Karloftus at Purdue he fell cause he doesn’t have long arms.
-
Said it before and I’ll say it again. He’s the genius in school who struggles for whatever reason in one subject. Kinda like Einstein who was told by his English teacher he’d never amount to anything. His one subject is clock management.
-
What’s exactly is your point? That’s more a Sean McDermott front office issue and a coaching one cause if you think Mahomes would be anywhere near the player he is here in a defense first front office and coaching staff I don’t know what to tell you. Cause I sure as heck know the kinda player Allen would be under Andy Reid’s tutelage and that’s a fact.

Chiefs are just better than the Bills

LA that’s what I’m saying too. Andy Reid made the likes of AJ Feeley and Kevin Kolb look like serviceable NFL QBs. The guy is a master of the QB position get a guy like Patrick and you see what he does even in his Philly days he pretty much dominated the NFC with Donovan Mcnabb. Patrick would still be great wherever he played but give Andy Josh from the beginning does anyone believe Allen wouldn’t have at least one Lombardi now -
Because that’s who McDermott hired as OC and the type of systems he wanted implemented that’s kinda what the head coach does. You can live by revisionist history simple fact is Josh Allen the next year was there for the Denver Broncos they passed on him for Nick Chubb. This happens to every team.
-
This revisionist history is getting ridiculous there is no guarantee with Brian Daboll , Rick Dennison, or Ken Dorsey running the show that Patrick would get where he is…my goodness Josh has played with some rough coordinators. Thing is the very next year cause of Nick Chubb Josh isn’t a Denver Bronco right now and the Bills don’t have the “right Josh” and McDermott and Beane have already been fired for drafting him. So step back and realize no one knew about Patrick in that draft. Just like the Denver Broncos didn’t realize what they passed on when they passed on Josh Allen.

Chiefs are just better than the Bills
78thealltimegreat replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Take Josh and Patrick outta this. Offense will never be an issue in KC cause Reid’s system which Patrick has mastered is so player friendly he could plug and play anyone in there to make plays he’s been doing it for 30 years. Josh has to deal with the unique challenge of having a defense first front office and coach staff that throws retread level receivers not named Diggs at him. Im not going to argue talent on defense the Chiefs where healthy the Bills where not. The difference between these two teams is one team expects to win…the other team hopes to win. It’s more a culture issue then anything. -
None of these players really move the needle for me other than Jones. Even when the defense was healthy they weren’t exactly stopping offenses with a pulse best to get younger on that side of the ball anyway.

Its Pretty Obvious why the Chiefs win every year
78thealltimegreat replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
Andy Reid is the difference he’s the modern version of Bill Walsh. -
The offseason is pretty simple to me offensively get Josh two more WRs and maybe another olineman. The defense back seven seems to be just a health issue but in order we need a safety to replace Hyde and we need help on the defensive line mainly DT. Kicker as it showed in this game is major concern as Tyler didn’t have his best year…he’s one of the top paid kickers in the league but he missed some makable kicks see KC. Take nothing away from 49ers or Ravens but the Super Bowl was played a few weeks back in high mark stadium. The AFC will be even tougher next year but we are just as good as anyone. Onward.
-
Kc has like a hundred lucky horseshoes over their lockerroom just amazing how every single break goes their way
-
Agreed poor drafting on the dline and injuries have kinda showed that
-
This is the same kc defense that Allen pretty much marched up and down the field on?
-
Nice to have a kicker who is clutch don’t really know what that’s like
-
That is 6 consecutive passes when you have excellent field position and cmc
