I know Beane and McDermott love to trade core players on the team like their candy but honestly taking away Josh’s only safety blanket seems ridiculous but more then likely shady is getting traded leaving a rookie qb with a below average receiving corps..an average oline..and marginal running backs..as long as we get draft picks and the right guys hey what could go wrong ?

Someone needs to be fired over Mahomes right now.

We’ll see next week when he travels to New England and Brady gets his hands on the supppsed new sheriff in town -

Once again Patrick’s coach is an offensive guru who actually got his qb some very shiny weapons and a year where he hardly played under his belt this board cracks me up sometimes...then again I remember on the old board where there where people complaining we didn’t draft Brock Osweiller -
And Dak Prescott was rookie of the year and a guy who forced a guy who threw for over 34,000 yards into retirement

Geez fans are brutal last week he was the second coming and now he’s Mitch Tribisky...Dak Prescott set the world on fire as a rookie and now even after what he did today a bunch of people in Dallas still want a new QB...the difference? A banged up oline and taking away his top two receiving threats will do that...Give Allen a quality running game and couple weapons and he will be just fine

Big picture is just life with a rookie qb

Jarrod Goff went through this I remember Rick Neuheisel calling him during his rookie year one of the biggest busts he’s ever seen enter a new coach... some offensive weapons..a couple linemen and two years later he’s probably the league mvp..the Bills front office did this kid no favors -

I swear the snowflakes on this board so want to be proven right about Josh Allen give it a rest he’s a friggin rookie facing his third super bowl contending team -
Russ Bodine made a huge difference

You couldn’t see the difference between and him and Groy? Thank you sir -
Rewatching the game this guy really made a difference I could see why Cincy wanted to lock him up long term

Allen is a budding superstar

He’s the best QB the Bills have had since Kelly by a wide margin -

In another year with two receivers and and a TE we are gonna look like what the Chiefs are right now -
Don’t know if Sea Patterson will actually leave Michigan but hopefully someone will fall in love with Haskins, Lock, Herbert, or Greer all who look pretty good and someone will give us a nice little haul of picks for

Would you draft Oliver or Bosa?

Just not a fan of players who have had abdominal surgeries that’s all -
Would you draft Oliver or Bosa?
78thealltimegreat replied to Skins Malone's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oliver I’m a believer in building an elite defense from inside out ala the Bucs in their heyday with Warren Sapp and Booger Mcfarland besides Bosa kinda scares me since he just already had surgery -
Really liked what I saw the game wasn’t to big for him just keeps needing more and more reps with his receivers

He sat a year behind an established qb didn’t he? Don’t even compare the two situations -

This game is why you fire Juan Castillo -
Figure we’ll get to see him running a short passing game and see him in a lot of three step drops and screens even with his cannon can’t see them allowing him to hold it long with the Chargers pass rush and the shitshow the 5 guys upfront are..then again do we actually have a receiver who can beat press coverage?

McBeane's way of rebuilding makes no sense
78thealltimegreat replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they get the benefit of the doubt cause they really are building this team for next year I doubt they expected this level of futility especially on the defensive side of the ball -
Losing 47-3 will do that not really negative but we are behind making a run next year due to oline issues that won’t fix themselves in one season 3 spots need upgrading along with a couple receivers, another running back, and the pass rush...the Jets play solid d and have a stable oline they can now just let Darnold start all year learn on the job as he goes which would have been the plan here if we didn’t have multiple departures
-
I’m stating the obvious but having an incompetent oline coach with the losses of Richie to the CIA and Eric Wood to retirement really set us back this year no cohesion means being careful with Josh instead of letting him learn and getting stuck with Nate cause you didn’t want to get Josh killed... Jets had a solid oline already now Sam can just keep learning on the job
