Report: Micah Parsons act is "wearing thin" in Dallas
78thealltimegreat replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills have their own problems but saying Micah Parsons is somehow terrible is living in an alternate universe. He’s literally one of only two guys in nfl history with at least 12 sacks his first 3 years not even Bruce did that -

I agree Paup the only thing is I wish they had a guy behind him so if they did this with Diggs it doesn’t look now like they are totally desperate for a wr at the draft and have teams jumping them -

Bosa is great but he plays with better front 7 talent…Players who have registered 12 or more sacks their first three seasons in the NFL.....................Reggie White and Mica Parsons. -

Exposed as what? Dan Quinn had him play snaps at 8 different positions last year. Nobody in the league does that 1st team all pro in 2023 and 2nd team all pro in 2024 so yes -
Does Beane have a trade with Schoen Lined Up???

Watch the Bears a rebuilding team with a rookie QB who doesn’t pick after 9 to pick 75… me thinks business can be done with two number 1s -

Here’s the problem Parsons is legit the best defensive player in the league just approaching his prime there’s a pretty good chance the other guys go who said this before him as Jerry will find out. -

If you want something to back you up on this last week on One Bills Live Greg Cosell who to me is the best of the best analysts absolutely crushed Diggs in his evaluation of him and saying the Bills have been playing without a number 1 receiver for a long time. -
You aren’t wrong
-
No he wouldn’t be employed if he selected any player not named Josh Allen in 2018 and that includes Lamar Jackson.
-
He got an extension cause of 17 nothing more nothing less
-
He’s an average GM who closed his eyes in the 2018 draft and picked one Josh over the other. He’s missed on a bunch of picks but that’s the nature of the business. Should we give him a chance to do a mini rebuild which he claims the Bills are not in and see what the team looks like this summer I will but the man is on borrowed time and he knows it.

I think you’re right … Terry Pegula is one of the wealthiest owners in sports if he wanted to he could can Beane and McDermott and start from scratch and not lose any sleep but it’s clear Mcdermott and Pegula wanted Diggs gone and Beane is just the guy dealing with the media.
-
Josh Allen has very little input on this team don’t kid yourself or he would have been hammering them to get him more help years ago. Brandon Beane works for Terry Pegula. It’s more than likely Terry Pegula approved this trade. The media basically does what Terry Pegula tells them since Brandon Beane is just Pegulas mouthpiece.

Need maybe two things in this draft
78thealltimegreat replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeh we need safety depth and it’s a weak class but after two WRs it’s basically going to be all defense depth guys we draft anyway…maybe a project olinman or two -
New Buscaglia mock has Bills trading up to 7 for Malik Nabers

Don’t like it no Michigan olinemen in the middle rounds for Kromer to develop -
We’d be the modern Jets or Eagles and win the off season every year. We’d still be a run heavy offense. We definitely knock off Brady in New England and his AFC East crown at some point let’s remember the toughest AFC East QBs in Brady’s run where Chad Pennington and Mark Sanchez. He literally had a free run for 15 years. Super Bowl who knows as we’d still be dealing with Patrick and Andy. More than likely the same.

Man Houston wiping out his deal is something they don’t that much of him then

Marvin Harrison Jr wants to be a Bill
78thealltimegreat replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well if you take Brandon at his word it seems like he wants a receiver that can play inside and outside Legette definitely does fit that so does Ladd Mckonkey who all but said in Kay Adams show that he's met with a the bills a few times already. -
I think Josh has been tired of hearing about how Steff made him and the national media constantly saying it even Diggs took at jab at him. Quite simply Diggs was not doing this in Minnesota. Josh just isn’t into drama and Diggs was a drama queen on steroids. Diggs is gone and I think we all not just Josh would be happier if we had better receivers behind him.
-
I wouldn’t do it for a 2024 pick but now with two seconds in 2025 those would be in play for a receiver of his caliber they definitely have the room to afford his salary next year. You add Aiyuk and then draft a couple guys this year you are just fine and you haven’t mortgage so much that you can continue to draft for areas

How would you construct the 2024 Bills WR Room?
78thealltimegreat replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d call the niners about Brandon Ayuk and ask if they want that 2025 second for him. Id see if it was realistic to get into the top 20 without going nuts to see if they could grab Brian Thomas or Adoni Mitchell. Id then turn around and comeback at WR in round 4 if a guy like Roman Wilson fell Giving me Ayuk Shakir Samuel Thomas Wilson Hollins that’s pretty damn good and still leaves you with enough Capitol to take care of other needs on defense and a couple young oline prospects for Kromer to groom -
He kept talking about how the offseason isn’t finished and it’s not September yet leading me to believe something is up but man to move him now this was just odd
