Random talking head says something about the Bills
78thealltimegreat replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look Patrick is a great QB there isnt much doubt this is more of a Chiefs issue their players seem to always step up and play their best when the team needs them the most. The Bills have Allen but have yet to have another player step up and take over a game like the Chiefs players do when Patrick needs help and it gets frustrating. -
Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
78thealltimegreat replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Claypool looked like the next great receiver in Pitt then got in Tomlins doghouse. Goes to Chicago and just fell off the map. Maybe it was the environment he was in the last couple years it’s definitely worth a go. -
Miami has had problems with teams that physically lineup and pound on them this doesn’t help with that. Dolphins really haven’t moved the needle to me one way or another this off season they are the AFC Dallas Cowboys. Can look flashy against poor teams…play a solid team and results usually go the other way.

Realistic "Transition Year" Expectations
78thealltimegreat replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s very hard to know what to expect cause the bills just took a blow torch to their roster and are now replacing it with young cheaper talent. It had to be done at some point but geez. I will say this if Josh has a similar year to last year without a number 1 receiver he’ll get his MVP. The stigma that Diggs made Josh will finally be gone from of these national media holdovers like Kay Adams and Steven A. Smith. So that’s good. Teamwise I think Beane and McDermott will hang their hat on Allen being Superman again and they’ll win 11 or 12 games…playoff run though is uncertain. -
Grade the 2024 Bills draft class

We aren’t the chiefs cause they have the greatest TE to ever play the game controlling the middle of the field making it a little easier for the Mercole Hardemon, Sky Moore, Samir Rice, and Marquez Valdez Scanlings of the world -
If you’re upset about the WR room - BLAME DIGGS

Grade the 2024 Bills draft class

It is an odd decision cause you go into next year with Shakur being your default number 1 receiver. I really like Khalil but he’s not really a number 1 man it just seems like this receiving corps is missing a one more guy. Then again at 28 or anywhere after you aren’t getting a number 1 receiver in year 1. I have to think this means Kincaid maybe lining up out wide more often. -

Not with the falloff in production the second half of the season they wouldn’t. Diggs had issues with everyone in the organization and it was starting to get to the point where it was time to turn the page. Listen to Greg Cosell on One Bills Live after the trade was made he said he hasn’t played like a number 1 receiver for quite awhile and went into detail how Diggs peaked as a player two years ago. -
I believe they will have 7 picks in the first four rounds they lost their 5 in the Steff Diggs trade and their 7th in the Boogie Basham debacle. If they truly want to recoup the 5th and 7th that would be very easy. So Comp pick formula seems they’ll be sitting at 11 picks

B+ love the Coleman pick the more I’ve looked into him the more I see why Josh wanted the kid some say he’s Gabe Davis clone him and Gabe aren’t in the same stadium talent wise. Also liked the PSU DB in the 6th that kid can play he might be a keeper. The LB haul was very good. Head Scratcher they needed more then 1 receiver outta this draft and they didn’t do that they must really believe in Shorter, Shavers, and KJ Hamler. -

Look the Bills knew what they were getting when they traded tor Diggs. Leopards don’t change their spots. Did they adequately prepare for his departure heck no they don’t value WR like other teams do. I can’t fault Brandon for trading him but it’s clear after his huge drop against the Chiefs the front office was thinking he’d have a quiet off season that of course wasn’t the case and it’s clear that had he stayed in Buffalo another year things would have combusted. -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
78thealltimegreat replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
The is the receiver Josh wanted. I think he earned the right to have input on who he wants to throw to since he’s only the entire offense. -
Was going to say if the comp pick formula hasn’t changed the Bills will have at least 11 picks next year including 8 in the first four rounds that’s crazy and cool at the same time.

Coleman = Benjamin, Davis = Moss - Beane players
78thealltimegreat replied to harmonkillebrew's topic in The Stadium Wall
Keon Coleman literally played basketball for Tom Izzo the same time he was playing football. This is just a lazy take cause the last FSU receiver was a completely gone Kelvin Benjamin. I was a Mitchell guy but Coleman can flat out play you will regret making this thread within 2 years. -
Rd 5, Pick 168: Edge Javon Solomon, Troy

His tape is like a hungry dog hunting a piece of meat. Definitely intrigued. -

Must be one of those traits McDermott and Beane look for -

Mel was saying the reason he fell is cause he’s got shorter arms then what they traditionally look for on IOL but hey I’ll take it his tape is nasty. -
Going to pound the table for Braedon McGregor of Michigan watch the tape of Alabama Michigan guy was all over the field. He’d be a very nice swing at edge here
