Scouting The Indianapolis Colts
Amaru523 replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Colts sound like the early season Bills, getting big leads in the first half and blowing them in the 2nd half. -
Colts and Titans Games Thread... and scenarios
Amaru523 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would think that the beating they laid on us last time would be very motivating to the Bills, plus we're not the same team we were back then, neither are they. -
I would like to see Josh get some time today, don't want him to be too cold next week. After the bye week, Allen had one of his weaker games of the season against a Chargers team that isn't exactly a defensive juggernaut. Maybe play him the entire 1st quarter, then see what's going on in Cleveland and go from there.

Week 17 Around the League
Amaru523 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Tennessee loses to Houston they could still miss out on the playoffs. There's 5 teams fighting for the final 4 spots, good stuff. If all 5 of those teams win, which seems likely, then the Colts would have the short straw. NFC has 6 teams fighting for the final 4 spots, and 3 teams fighting for the #1 seed still. -
I don't see any realistic scenarios where we play Baltimore if we win, the only one I can find is if the Colts lose to the Jags AND the Ravens lose to Cincy. If both of those things happen, we'd play Baltimore no matter what happens in our game with the Fins. If the Bills lose and the Steelers win, we'd play the Ravens. I personally think the Bills and Steelers will BOTH lose and the Bills will get the Browns next week cause I don't see the Ravens OR Colts losing today.

So the Bills would play the...........................Bills? (I'd say we're the hottest team in the NFL)

I don't know who Nick Wright is, I'll never watch whatever show he's on, but anyone still doubting Josh Allen (or the Bills in general) is a straight up troll.

Week 9 - Predict the score (Seattle @ Buffalo)
Amaru523 replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last week their defense looked great when they were facing the gimpy Garoppolo, but when he came out, the flood gates opened up. -

Seahawks - 43 Bills - 38 I don't see our D stopping Russ or DK at all. Fortunately, their D is just as bad. -
Gameday Thread Week 8 2nd Half Bills vs Pats*

This team is so frustrating to watch, the entire D needs to go back to tackling school. -
Week 8 Pats** At Bills - Predict the score
Amaru523 replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see a lot of running in this game and a lot of punting due to both teams stacking against the run. Windy conditions will severely limit the passing games. It might be ugly. Bills - 13 Pats - 12 -
Le'Veon Bell signs with Kansas City

Didn't want him anyway, he's a head case and he's washed up.......👀 -

Yeah I'm sure right now on the Chiefs and Fins boards there's people claiming they know someone who knows that he's signing there. -
We all saw the improvement Josh made from year 1 to year 2 after they gave him a some decent weapons. Now he's got an ELITE weapon and he's only gonna keep getting better. If its between the 24 year old Allen and the 38 year old (Nov) Fitz, that's a no brainer to me, and I've been saying from day 1 that Darnold is overrated. Just for the record, I DID NOT want Josh Allen 2 years ago.

Still slow burning over bad calls in Texans' game
Amaru523 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That touchback nonsense bothers me the most. I mean, when does the NFL EVER use common sense to determine a play? If they're going to start using "common sense", then they're gonna open up a whole new can of worms each week. Did they use "common sense" when DeSean Jackson dropped the ball, he obviously didn't mean to do that. The Bills could've done a lot of things better, but the refs didn't help the situation at all. -
Mike Clay 2020 team projections: Bills
Amaru523 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, we had a creampuff schedule last year, but yet everyone was predicting us to be worse than we were the year before, despite all the improvements made to the roster. -
Mike Clay 2020 team projections: Bills
Amaru523 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is just like all the "experts" who thought the Bills were gonna suck last year. I remember a show on ESPN where all 4 guys on the panel picked the under 6.5 for win total. I kept telling everyone, "so our roster got significantly better, but we're gonna stay the same or be worse?" Made no sense and I enjoyed telling everyone I told you so. Next season our roster gets a little better, Josh gets an elite weapon, we still have a top 5 D, AND no more Tom Brady. Guarantee we win AT LEAST 10 games. -

Amaru523 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, and all those other guys were picked in the 3rd round or later so their production is pretty much what you should expect, or didn't expect in a good way. Watkins, being the 4th overall pick, absolutely should not be grouped with those guys. I guess if you only look at the numbers, he's been "good", but he's still not living up to his 4th overall pick, not even close. -
Buffalo Bills worst draft choices.
Amaru523 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plus IIRC McCargo wasn't even a top 50 ranked player in that draft. The Bills could've stayed at 42 and got him there easily, that whole thing made no sense to me at the time and looks ten times worse now. After McCargo, the next DT went at 68. -
Buffalo Bills worst draft choices.
Amaru523 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For me its McCargo and Maybin that mostly stick out as moves that were major facepalm moments when they happened. When they traded back into the first round in 06 I got really excited, but when they announced McCargo as the pick I started looking around for Ashton Kutcher. The Maybin pick infuriated me because I was really hoping for Brian Orakpo and I didn't stop shaking my head on that one for a very long time because I just couldn't understand how they could pass on Orakpo for Maybin, a guy that I knew little about except that he was generally slated for the late 1st early 2nd while Orakpo was a definite early 1st. -
2020 Draft, biggest bust potential
Amaru523 replied to Cripple Creek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not just going by what McCarron did, I'm going by what every Alabama QB over the last 40 years has done. Alabama has been at the top or near the top of the mountain for a long time, especially the last 10 years where they've been men amonsgst boys. Bama QB's always look really good in college, but don't pan out in the NFL, but I feel the same way about a few other schools too. All I'm saying is that what a QB does while playing for a team that could legitimately challenge the worst team in the NFL doesn't prove to me that he's going to be a star when he starts playing against men, maybe I'll be very wrong, we'll see. Its just an opinion. -
