  1. Except it was the Browns final drive. So let me ask you this: If the defense stops the Browns on that drive, do the Bills win?
  2. I don't think anyone is arguing that point at all. The point is, the defense still had a chance to win the game (after the offense scored mind you), and all they had to do was stop the drive. They didn't get it done on that drive and allowed the Browns to take the lead. They are damn good; except on that final drive!
  3. Been saying this all day. Offensive shares the burden of blame, no doubt about it. However, regardless of how badass the goal line stands were today, the offense did get the lead with around 5:00 or just under to play and the defense allowed the Browns to methodically march down the field to take the lead. At one time, Chubb carried like four five defenders on his back to get a first down. Several times had them in 3rd down but kept giving up out patterns at the sticks.
  4. Having to read Twist of Fate's idiotic posts.
  5. Just listened to Josh's post-game presser and he admitted part of his issues in the long ball is mental; stating the thought is in his head about under throwing the ball and putting the ball in jeopardy. While Josh is ultimately responsible, I think the emphasis on protecting the football, hero ball, etc is forcing him to overthrow the ball and subconsciously thinking only his guy will have a chance at the ball, thus an overthrow. Obviously something is in is head on those, because all his other throws are coming out more naturally.
  6. Also, during Brown's Arizona days, he had Fitz opposite taking pressure off the top. Right now, we don't have that.
  7. Probably. However, I never suggested that, nor did I say the defense OVERALL didn't do their job. I focused specifically on the final Brown's where the defense allowed the GO-AHEAD TD. Clearly you are one of those guys who puts the overall loss solely on the QB. If the Bills stop the Browns on the final drive, do they win - YES or NO? That's all I am saying. Clearly if Allen and the offense, the FG kicker makes kicks, we might not be in that position, but don't deny my point as not being a reality.
  8. No, but if they stopped the Browns final drive (or at least keep them out of the endzone), the Bills probably win.
  9. I guess the same could be said for the defense on the last drive - You want to win a game that's huge for your team? then do it, no excuses. Just not good enough.
  10. It was awesome; I was never disputing that chief. My point to the OP was the defense needed a stop with less than 5 min to go and allowed the Browns to march down for the GO-AHEAD score. Is that not a reality of what happened? Bills stop the Browns on that drive and the percentage of winning that game is probably greater than 90%.
  11. I think he may have a good playbook too; but I am not sure if he is a good playcaller. There is a distinction.
  12. Sorry Charlie; great defenses still step up and stop the go-ahead score despite how awesome they played prior. Just because they played stout earlier, doesn't excuse them letting Chubb carry 6 players on his back for another 10 yards or Wallace continuously getting exposed.
  13. Or when you are at 2nd and 1
  14. Only thing you can do is continuously trash him. Luckily, your will has now sway on the team or what the team does.
  15. That's literally partly the difference. Two missed FGs are the partly the difference. So the defense didn't let Baker march them down and let Chubb rumbled for like 20 yds with half the defense on his back? But hey, it's all Allen's fault because that fits your narrative.
  16. McD won't feel the heat unless the local media calls him out on Dabol
  17. BS; he's part to blame. But he did pass them down for the go ahead score and then drove them down for the tying FG. The defense let them marched down the field.
  18. Yeah, but that was a good play by the DE.
  19. You obviously know all about that (the sucking balls part).
  20. I think so; but the play call was obviously a back shoulder throw to Brown. They huddled to call that isolation play. It was snap and throw.
  21. Could have told you that. Stupid play call on 3rd down.
