What are you doing to get out of this funk?
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Go on living life, with gut rotting pain, for a day or two. I tried every Karma trick in the book and it didn’t work. I even sacrificed not watching any games live after the Ravens and we kept winning (minus) the Rams, I tried to be on my best behavior and take a humble approach against arrogant fans of opposing teams. Honestly, probably not much a fan base can do to influence things. -
Pass catcher is still our #1 need

couldn’t agree more, I honestly think he’s not good at all. -
Spencer Brown signs 4 year extension

I'm not very keen on contracts and cap space etc; but I do love the thought of investing in the trenches. -

I’m very happy with how far we made it.
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two things can be true: 1. You're happy with how far we made it 2. You're conditioning yourself for another loss to the Chefs -
Run the Tush Push everytime
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's why you do it on 3rd down and assess. On the first tush push in the 1st QTR, it was from the 1.5 yard line and Allen was pushed about four yards into the endzone. -
Joe Brady, Josh Allen, and the playcalling

Could have cost us. -
McDermott on 3rd and Goal
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to NORWOODS FOOT's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like I said, if you get stuffed on the first push, you still have the FG in your pocket. At that moment, getting stuffed with Josh in the shotgun, the FG was the right call. However, and I think we are kind of saying the same thing, putting Josh in Shotgun on 3rd down was the wrong call. Sneak push it on 3rd down and assess from there. -
That FG Decision by McDermott
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was the right call after the 3rd down call. The 3rd down call was the problem when you are "Right There". -
That FG Decision by McDermott

THANK YOU; crazy how this almost cost us. -
Divisional Round, Ravens v. Bills, GAME BALLS!
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
i think it was Damar Hamlin who had that critical open field tackle that kept Henry from breaking that long run, which would have been a TD. HUGE HUGE -
That's why you do it on 3rd down. Two likely outcomes - (1) you score a TD or (2) it's 4th and inches. Less likely outcome - you get stuffed for no gain, and if that's the case, you still have the FG in your pocket. If the Ravens tie it up and we lose in OT, we are coming back to that play and why you didn't tush push twice if needed. Romo was all over that and I agree. It almost cost us.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, we typically win when we he calls the game....except for the Chiefs in the Playoffs. So yeah, I see your point. -
McDermott on 3rd and Goal
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to NORWOODS FOOT's topic in The Stadium Wall
Completely disagree because if the Ravens score the 2pt conversion and somehow win in overtime, we are going to go back to that play at what cost us. We got lucky, plain and simple. Instead of being up 31 to 19 and a two-score game, we left it at a one-score game. That's the crap that got Dorsey canned - going shotgun on short yardage in critical moments. You're putting the QB at a disadvantage at the 5/6 yard line. If you get stuffed by some circumstance, you still have the FG. But more probable outcome is either TD or 4th and inches. -
I'm not falling into the overconfidence Karma Trap like the Ravens were this past week. I'm keeping it level-headed because anything can happen - (13 seconds, missed FG, time management, going shotgun at the 1 yd line vice a tush push) etc. The Chiefs thrive just as much on other teams beating themselves. The entire country outside of KC is going to pulling for the Bills, that's a huge burden if they allow that to get in their head.

Chiefs favored -1.5 opening line
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to Chicagobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope the Bills stay focused and not listen to the outside noise, because the majority of country is going to want the Bills to win and could be some added pressure. I hope they don't feel that burden. -
Lets talk complementary football and the 2nd half
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree, putting Josh in Shotgun at the 1.5 - 2yd line on 3rd down is inexcusable. Almost cost us. -
