  1. I don't understand the offensive play calling. Appears all the routes are long developing, and with a weak O-line and WRs who struggle to get off the line, this is a recipe for failure.
  2. Vontae Davis - Bills
  3. Allen is playing okay, but is missing a lot of opportunities as well. That is to be expected. Progress will be measured by how well over the season he sees the field faster and understands where his hot reads are and begins to hit the receivers the announcers are illustrating. Game experience is key.
  4. Sure makes you wonder WTF they do in practice.
  5. This type of thinking is why the Bills continue to struggle. Build a foundation around your QB...primarily a great O-line first, a good RB, and stud TE and a true #1 WR.
  6. The Bills have a lot more problems than QB (Peterman or Allen). The O-Line is atrocious and can't max protect against a four man front, which allows the defense to maximize pass defense. The WRs are not good route runners and have stone hands. The pass-rush was suspect and the Ravens essentially moved the ball at will. This is primarily a coaching and GM failure with the lack of talent. The O-coordinator didn't adjust and make things easier. Just my opinion.
  7. While still incomplete, wasn't as horrible a throw as made out to be.
  8. Did anyone notice on the bullet overthrow on the left sideline, that if the first receiver didn't hit the ball with his hand, the ball might have been a perfect strike to Benjamin? I wonder if that was his intended target? Maybe someone will have a clip of that throw? Just an observation.
  9. He stated he is "perfectly happy, no matter how poorly he plays." If you want to believe poor play is an approach to achieve the best results... well, like I said, to each their own!
  10. Can't argue with a man who sets and lives by low standards. To each their own!
  11. I know, but that's kind of how I got attracted to FB back then in the late 70s early 80s. Growing up in Wyoming, I seeked teams other than Denver.
  12. Pretty much, but I have followed the Bills since I was a kid. Andre Tippett was one of my favorite players growing up, and I was a fan of Joe Ferguson. I had a poster growing up with all the great 70s QBs like Joe, Fouts, Jaworski, and Bartkowski.
  13. Is this the nonsense you post to get to 14,000 posts? Do you even understand how the Practice Squad works? If you want to red shirt him, you don't expose him to the practice squad to get poached by another team. You simply don't activate him on game day.
  14. Uh; pretty sure the OP argued he spend a year on the PS.
  15. A practice squad player can be signed by another team, as long as the signing team adds the player to the 53-man roster. A practice squad player cannot be signed to another team’s practice squad.
  16. Another attribute he brings is he played under center a lot, and as you can see, he has a really nice play action fake. He does a good job of selling it and not doing a half-ass fake. Coaches will have to temper his aggression at times, because he has a tendency to force throws because of his arm, and often because he was constantly playing catchup (especially last season). Wyoming didn't incorporate RBs much into their passing game, so once he gets a good feel for that and takes what the defense gives him, he will only get better.
  17. #4 was Tanner Gentry. He is currently on the Bears practice squad - Bills should try and poach him and develop him. #88 in the videos is Jacob Hollister who is a 2nd yr backup TE with the Pats. #5 was Brian Hill who rushed for nearly 2000 yds. He lost all three of those players, to include his center (Redskins) in the 2017 draft who accounted for probably 90% of the TDs in 2016.
  18. Pretty cools to see the Buffalo Bills fans begin to embrace Josh as you get to know him. Feels strange yet awesome to watch him transition from Wyoming to Buffalo; feels like watching your kid get married. The Bills got the QB with the best all-around talent and highest, yet untapped potential. While his coaches are great at Wyoming, he's never had QB specific coaching (besides the last three months with Jordan Palmer) that he will get with the Buffalo coaches. He's yours to mold and develop.
  19. He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone. I take it you have never said anything needing forgiveness...think long and hard!
