  1. The 300 yd game "The Two Bills Drive" standard. Last year it was the 60% standard. John Brown is averaging a healthy 75 yds per game as our number 1. Beasley is averaging roughly 45, and Knox is close to 20 yds per game. It's obvious, for Allen to get close to 300, Brown needs to have a great game. If Brown gets 100 yds, where are the other 200 yds coming from? If Brown gets 150 yds, where is the other 150 yds coming from? Even on a day of expected output, Beasley should net around 7 catches for probably around 70 yds (10 yd average for what he does). On a good day, Knox should net close to 50 yds. That's still not 300 yds. So for Allen to get 300 yd games, we need contribution from our RBs like we did last week and another WR not named Brown or Beasley. Last week, with the help of Singletary, Allen had 100 yds in the first QTR. But then we attempted on awful screen later in the game and hardly threw the ball the rest of the game. I think both Singletary and McKenzie combined can help make up the difference.
  2. Thus my last point where his throws seem to have a lot more air under them and he is OVERTHROWING them and missing them, and YES BAD THROWS. My point on the 50/50 balls is: the Bills in my opinion, don't have the player on the roster who can do it, therefore there aren't really any throws right now in the playbook that say hey go fight for this ball or try and draw a PI.
  3. I think part of the issue with the long ball, outside of Josh missing them, is that the Bills don't really have someone who can go up and compete for a contest a ball. Brown appears to be a WR who can catch in stride and make in internal adjustment to the ball. I don't think Beasley has the talent to compete for deep contested balls. Perhaps Duke, but we haven't seen it nor the opportunity to be honest. For example, the interception Josh threw in the NE game deep to Brown in the endzone was on the money but the DB simply was there and went up and took the ball where Brown was waiting for it to land in his mits. For some WRs, that could be considered a 50/50 ball. I do wonder if the coaches are teaching him to put more air under the ball and let the WR run under it as compared to throwing it more directly, because that's how the last few have looked and he is uncorking them too far.
  4. I think the offense is still a work in progress from a roster standpoint in my opinion. I believe went from poor to below average (Ok, maybe average). I think Brown is awesome and Beasley is good at what he does. But we are lacking that other WR to compliment them both who knows how to fight and adjust his route to make complicated passes. Our O-line is improved but still has areas that need improvement, and we are not getting a lot of production from our TEs (drops). Until Singletary yesterday, our RBs were getting outgained by the QB. And we have a QB, who while has improved his short game, is struggling on the long ball and has a case of fumblitis. (See I am a pro-Josh fan who can constructively criticize). The "Process" has us moving in the right direction. Most people had the Bills winning 6 games all year and nowhere near the playoffs. If things continue down the current trajectory, the Bills have have a lot of mullah to improve an average roster that just made the playoffs (hopefully).
  5. Exactly. Everyone knew when he was drafted he was raw and would need time to develop. Yet, he was forced into action the very first game and had to learn on the fly. The disdain this fan base has for a kid who is giving his heart to this team, city, and fan base is disheartening. All the while, despite a below average offensive roster, has led his team to a 6-2 record and hopefully a playoff appearance in his second year.
  6. Well then, you're pretty weak and embarrassed to be a Bills fan. Pathetic. I don't have a problem talking about it around my friends who are rabid fans of other teams.
  7. Let me guess..."He's not your QB!" You're such a "Snowflake".
  8. Yeah; but there's a difference between constructive criticism and outright trashing your own player.
  9. The biggest difference I see between Baltimore and Buffalo is the quality of O-Line play.
  10. One of the noticeable differences I see between Baltimore and Buffalo is the quality of O-line. What is wrong with you fans.
  11. You Allen haters are the worst of the worst. He’s not even playing right now and it’s open season on him. Get lost!
  12. Sure, he says that because if we win out we would have the tie breaker over the Pats because we would have beaten the Ravens already. Certainly not going to happen, but he is technically correct.
  13. Let me help you out - https://www.baltimoreravens.com/. Peace.
  14. He gets skewered for throwing 250 and 2 TDs
  15. Man, if Josh was having a game like Hall of Famer Aaron Rogers is right now, he would be publicly tarred and feathered.
  16. Chargers dump Whisenhunt and it looks like a completely different offense right now. ?
  17. Call it as i see it. Just own it, it's okay.
  18. No you're not; I've seen your posts. You're part of the anti-Allen click.
  19. Did you just see that TD by Courtland Sutton (Denver)? That's the type of WR this team is missing opposite of John Brown!
  20. at the time, I was 1/72 Armor 2ID out of Camp Casey, South Korea. I graduated basic training and was on board my flight to Korea when the Bills were playing the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.
  21. Nice; I was PFC in the Army at the time.
  22. Where you at SouthernBills? Josh drove them down to seal it! Where you at hater?
