Pounding the table for Christian Watson at 25
Vickveto replied to Vickveto's topic in The Stadium Wall
30 minutes in they recognized he was the best wide receiver at the senior bowl and it wasn’t even close. -
He performed well at the senior bowl so it doesn’t matter what school we went to. He ran a 4.43 as a linebacker along with his other drills that he did exceptionally well in. YES!! 4.23 officially ran at the combine. That speed is rare and it shows on tape. Somebody believes they can coach em up.Late round four at the latest.

Bills Draft Visit Spotlight- Isaiah Spiller Texas A&M RB

I just don’t think he is worth it.that’s where I would take him. I don’t think he’s going to fall that far. He’s already coming in with injury concerns I’m definitely not taking him in a second not even the third. -

No but that’s where I would take him.He just seems like a dime a dozen running back. -
Troy Anderson won’t be at 100. perfect RAS score, Kalon Barnes ran sub 4.3 he won’t make it to 203 and Bo Melton has a RAS of above 9 he won’t make it. But I do like your mock a lot though.

What round for Calvin Austin? I think he gets elected with 50th pick by the Chiefs or even the 30th pick I wouldn’t be too shocked. -
I like Burks. what makes you hate him? I saw him just out run SEC defenses. Drake London there is no separation in his highlight tapes I have no idea what people see in him. The other player that would make me throw the TV is Quay Walker I saw a mock (NFL.com) that had him coming to us. I like about five linebackers before him.

Only throw the TV if it’s Drake London.

I just don’t see very many dBs they can handle him deep from what I saw at the senior bowl was enough of the other routes to be a serious problem.Plus he is a excellent blocker. no injury concerns. On another note Troy Anderson is flying up my board I just think he reminds me of Brian Urlacher he just looks so explosive on tape and he ran a 4.43 at 6.4 I could see that being the pick at 25 as well. -

I just disagree that Metcalf is a significantly better prospect if you watch the senior bowl tape he was cooking dbs’s don’t matter what school they came from and it wasn’t vertical fly routes. There were a lot of bad throws so you have to have a keen eye. but when he did go deep all I could think was what if Josh Allen was throwing that. The quarterbacks in the senior bowl couldn’t even get it there he had to try to come back for both of them. Whether we draft him or not I think he is going to be a superstar and he can give you 1000+ Rookie year. -
The Rams don’t have picks and we still definitely would have more picks than them. So I don’t really think it’s throwing anything away. I just moved up in the draft a lot and got better projected players because honestly any player fourth round or later might not even make the team that’s just how good we are. Not saying players in the later rounds can’t but it’s a lot less likely and we just don’t really have the time to develop anybody right now on the field. If Lewis chine is the next Poyer Breece hall is the McKissic Etienne back Mcbeane has bean trying to find everything is good. Regardless if we win a Super Bowl or not but I feel that this would put us in the best position in our best year to see do it but Josh Allen gives you a chance every year for the next 7+
-
Troy Anderson is going to play the middle linebacker position and we still have picks 3-7 next year you can very easily find a day one starting TE in round 3 or 4. We really wouldn’t have any holes next year Lewis chine would steps right in for Poyer and can he play hybrid nickel. I understand we haven’t built a dynasty in the modern age yet but we can’t keep everybody.Teams pay top dollar for winning players. It is what it is. Poyer Knox and Edmunds are probably gone Oliver too depending on price. We probably will be able to keep one of those. A.J Epenesa highest trade value is probably going to be now because he’s probably not going to get enough minutes. Between Edmonds and Epenesa the capspace shed would balance out. Could still go get a veteran corner.

I don’t believe that at all Tariq Woolen finished with a perfect RAS score and great senior bowl. I love Jalen Pitre straight playmaker. Kalon Barnes legit 4.2 speed we could use him against Miami. Lastly I don’t think booth is a 1 round lock he has injury concerns. He could go as late as the middle of the second.

Christian Watson Troy Anderson -
25 WR. Christian Watson 32 S. Lewis Chine 34 RB. Breece Hall 41 CB. Tariq Woolen 57 LB. Troy Anderson 89 WR. Tyqaun Thornton 203 P. Matt Ariza (2023 1st)(2024 1st)Tremaine Edmunds For Pick 32 and Pick 34 4th (130) 5th (168) 7th (231) (2023 2nd) A.J Epenesa For Pick 41
-
I just don’t think we have to pay him less we still have a couple more restructures we can do and I think we just cleared up about 10 million in Cap Space so if he really wants to come and not just using us for money leverage I honestly think we offer the best opportunity.

This is our championship window it is time to stack the deck before contracts and age break this team apart. We are not in the conversation of best weapon groups when I talk to people, and I agree we need more speed Watson/Williams/Burk and breece hall/Kenneth Walker/James Cook I want two big time potential play makers early in the draft. I hope we trade up this year too and go all-in. -

I hope he is I want to win a championship. But unless you feel the same way about Kumerow and Stevens then we should probably be discussing somebody who can step in day one outside. -

The bills are in a unique position we really don’t have any holes. if we land Gilmore or Haden those two will probably perform better than any rookie corner. With this unique position that the bills are in I think you take the best playmaker available in the first as long as the grade matches. I watch Metcalf and Claypool pass us and I thought they were worth the picks I don’t want to see it happen again with Watson. If we got McDuffe or boothe I wouldn’t be mad at all. The only player that would piss me off is Drake London in the first round. But I was still trust the GM saw something I didn’t see. -
What makes you say he is a longshot?
