  1. He has a QB. Im happy with the direction I believe we are headed in. I will say that if we kept Lynn then Trubisky may have been our QB.
  2. Actually it wasnt the same. There wasnt a big pile of Ducasse to his left and the team had several more weeks in a new Offense that is the most complex system in the NFL. People seem to forget we have a new Offense and new verbage. That is a really big deal. Some guys may pick up on it right away. Others it may take more time. Some may never grasp it. You forget what the change in D did to our #4 ranked D when Rex came.
  3. Last I checked we have the #1 D not them. Of coarse I havnt checked this week True. It probably had nothing to do with the changes at WR, Oline, and Special teams.
  4. Lake Gitche Gumy. probly not spelled right.
  5. A brick of what is the question. Gotta be some good $h!1. Liquor?
  6. nope This isnt Barkleys team its Allens and that it. Nothing else matters. Mannings rookie season was awful and I think Indy made out ok. If youre right so much and they are wrong why are theyin their positions and youre on some fan message board.
  7. Ok GM Levy how did your teams do.
  8. Spmeone forgot to tell John Brown that he was supposed to sign with the highest bidder
  9. The draft is insanely deep at WR. Although maybe we should trade up giving 2 first to take a WR in a deep draft. Who knows they may even turn out to be injury prone.
  10. Im refering to him not being the GOAt if you follow everything. So your reply is really irrelavent to what Im saying. And Brees and Manning would be the same case. Rivers and Big Ben would do alright in any era I believe.
  11. actually we had a pretty good scoring O while he was here IIRC. That being said I do believe that teams have to respect the pass more when those not named Peterman are in there.
  12. I think the bad games by the D can be attributed to being on the field so much.
  13. How do you know he doesnt have an injury that is making him retain water.?
  14. Dont know if its worse that you said it or that i laughed
  15. Just a crazy theory here but, I think it might be because he is our starting QB.
  16. Neither did Jerry Rice but guess what. Not saying hes Jerry b but he doesnt need elite speed to be good. A lot of people said Woods couldnt be a #2 guess what It looks an awful lot like they were correct. Cant be a 2 when youre a 1.
  17. uhoh youre figuring it out. Bills fans will spend $ no matter what. Pats fans are as fair weather as it gets.
  18. Tom Brady has Belicheat and hours of tape to watch. Unfortunately for the other team its a tape of their game plan and possibly their playbook. Hopefuly we took Humbers.
  19. what does that have to do with this thread and what the OP is saying. Oh nothing.
  20. When I consider what our D has been through because of the offense there is no doubt that they are #1. There is an article that points out a few important details Where teams with similar circumstances as far as plays against and the fact we have played one more game than certain teams. You should read if you havent. Those other teams are all toward the bottom in D btw.
  21. we are top 3 in defensive snaps which would siggest this isnt the really the case. That is actually a good explonation of scoring against us.
  22. And in the 80 and 90s his scrawny a$$ would have never made through a whole season. Do guys realize how much the modern offensive numbers are corrupted by these rule changes. These scores and offensive greatness are fabricated with protections that make it so you cant fart near an offensive skill position without giving the offense a big chunk of yardage and a fresh set of downs. The Bills, Cowboys, 49ers, Giants of the late 80s and early 90s would steamroll any Brady team under the rules of their time. I couldnt image what Brady would do when LT or Steve Atwater laid the wood on him. Hed retire at halftime I imagine. I get it that young guys like OJ Tom (and Im guessing The eggman is a younger guy as well) dont realize that you could just about mug a reciever back then. I think roughing the passer was just hitting him more than 2 steps after he through the ball. I dont remember any helmet to helmet rule and you could hit the QB anywhere and anyway that you wanted. And there was no such thing as a defensless reciever.
