I say he can start week 18 Maybe all the other years he played were a fluke and he is the second coming of Jim Kelly. -

Danny Crossman should be out
formerlyofCtown replied to buffalonian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Schmidt feels Crossman should be fired. Ive never seen any reason to get rid of Schmidt. Hauschmoney does well with him as a holder. I do like the guy that has an even harder name to spell though. We need guys with names that are not easily spelled and all our kicks will be good. Its not like Haushcka or however you spell it was the top rated kicker in the NFL with Schmidt or anything like that. -

The five of you that feel this way should join a therapy group or something. Wow guy must go to high level business meetings. He needs a representative to manage his threads. -
For the trade down club.....
formerlyofCtown replied to TheBeaneBandit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depending on where we end up picking. For me it is BPA for any position that doesnt line up under center. However, unless Im looking at a future HOF I trade a top 5 pick. 6-10 he needs to be a perenial ProBowler or I trade down. 10-15 I likely trade only if I can line up with a probowler that meets a need otherwise BPA at that pick. If I can get a probowl caliber player at a position of need without mortgaging the future. I trade up. If hes a HOF caliber at a position of need and there isnt good depth in the draft I trade up into the top 5. The problem with that is we need impact players. I would rather see us trade back up into day 1 to grab a difference maker if possible. -

We have one of those. Even if we get another the refs still wont call holding. -
Is Josh Allen your QB?
formerlyofCtown replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really think Marrone ruined EJ. But at best EJ would have been a servicable starter. AT best Allen could end up being a legitimate GOAT. If he thinks he is an Elite poster then it is possibl he thinks EJ had the tools to become an Elite passer Lol -
I dont think he makes it to seasons end. Yup, I wish we could find future high caliber staters in the 5th round 2 years in a row or something or sign 2 safeties that a lot of other teams overlooked and have one of the best safety tandems in the league. How I wish that was the case. Imagine if we could just manage to find a UDFA that turned out to be a likely #1 WR or great #2 WR that would be something huh. Those would be some great talent evaluators. Sure wish that was us. Just imagine how excited we would all be if we had a crew that likely found our long awaited franchise QB and likely ProBowl caliber MLB in the same draft. Ofcoarse if that ever happened there would probably be some that were too blind and devoid of actual football knowledge to see it.

Is Josh Allen your QB?
formerlyofCtown replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he finally has some help. I think we got our #1 WR in Foster. Jones kinda made me eat crow because I said he was becoming more consistant. But I still think he will. I believe TE may have past WR as a priority although I would still like to see an AJ Green or Julio trade, I think it is more likely now that we draft one and dont get a vet. I think the commentators may be onto something when the said this offense doesnt suit Shady but maybe its just the Oline. So he needs more help would be a better response. He was highly recruited to Alabama but never quite lived up to it. He seems to be developing now. I think one of the biggest things thats a plus for this staff is that everyone not named crossman can develope talent. The Oline coach probably sucks too. I would prefer my Oline coaches attack young men on the beach over a lawn chair. -

Did you see my post before I deleted 99.5 percent of it. Im pretty sick of the idiots. They think we have a bad GM and coaching staff. They try to point the finger at the D when Allen made a few critical "Rookie Mistakes"(That isnt a term I made up it exists for a reason. Could it be that its not uncommon for rookies to make those mistakes. Even Rookie Manning and Brees made those mistakes). Crossman will be gone before the end of the season if not the week because special teams is a serious issue this season. We are in good shape for the future finally. -

Yup like all the guys outside of the first that we picked up. Even some undrafted guys. Tre was picked 27th overall, so definitely. -

You have seen our Oline play right. Especially considering the loss of our starting center. I also think they get stuffed at the goal line with Milano not hurt. Darnold just made a great pass and there WR had just enough of a push off to make the catch. You act as though Darnold hit a wide open WR. Our big problem right now isnt our offense or D, its our special teams. The Jets with some help from the officials earned a W today. Allen had a fumble due to a rookie mistake. He threw a rookie int. We will likely lose another game or 2. Get over it on to the next evaluation game. Thats what it is like it or not. We have a lot of inexperienced players on this team and its likely there were more mistakes than we know. Also they need to bench Clay. Dont release him as I believe that is what he wants. Maybe their bad players executed better than our young players. -

Trying to cover up what was going on. Our owners got one official fired maybe they might get a few more. We still could have won the game. The hit on our Hauschmoney should have been flagged. I suspect he will get a fedex package from the league. Im really disappointed that you guys let these refs get out of the stadium and town unscathed. The threat of a mob waiting for you after the game may bring about better officiating in buffalo. -

I wonder what the NFL will do given the push this year to protect the QB. If I was Goodell I would terminate the suspended Ref to send a message. If Kyle decides he is going to retire maybe he might confuse a ref with a RB.
