Thompson almost made a spectacular catch. I think if he makes that catch he gets a little more love on this board. Hes got potential to be better than what we just got rid of. I really think that is part of "the process", developing players and trying to cultivate that potential. I guess they figure what they have is better. With Clay I think its mental. He needs to get it together. Allen had Clay and Zay open at times and chose to go elsewhere. Zay was wide open on the TD to Foster but Allen threw to the guy that would catch it. Zay just needs to keep working.

I think getting cut may have a lot to do with it.

Hes in his second year. He will compete for the number 2. He doesnt need to be the fastest reciever he just needs to keep improving. Hes getting open more often. He was interfeared with a lot today as well. As our QB grows in popularity we will get more calls. I wonder what the few who said Foster wont be on the team next year have to say now.

Hopefully he doesnt have foot issuea like the last guy to do that for us.

They really arnt willing to overspend tho or sometimes it seems pay market value. The offense really is better with WR like that but its the moving parts that make it go. IIrc their O doesnt work as well without Edelman. Hes that guy that keeps the chains moving. The great TE play has also been part of the formula. Every player has to know their part and have a high Football IQ because it has so many moving parts.

I think a tru #1 is a game changer that is difficult to shut down and can be moved around or doesnt need to be.

Amendola, Welker, and Edelman are the type WR required for the E/P Offense. Zay and McKenzie fit this mould I believe. The Moss and Gordon types arent necessary. Good TEs and pass catching RBs are important as well. Allen has a much stronger arm though. It is important that we get a reliable TE and another good WR. Allen really has to learn to pass with touch as the majority of this offense is quick timing routes.

Hes played really well at times and not so well other times. I believe he will get another year at LT.

McKenzie is an OW. Our WRs will be rotated and moved around to maximize their skill setd I believe. They may not break the bank on a WR(I hope they do or Draft a really good one). I tend to look at what NE has done over the years, I do realize Allen has a stronger arm than Brady. Outside of Moss they really havent had many HOF ouside recieving threats that were significant in their O.

Iirc Dawkins did not play well on the right side.

I think there is a difference in the quaility of the Line in front of them. Wow hes averaging 2200 yards and a TD per game. Surprised he doesnt score more averaging 2200 a game. Sorry couldnt resist.

I feel the same. That is why I said I would trade down and get a bunch of Oline. I believe that will be on their shopping list this season. They probably made the correct move if Manning continues to rebound and they build up the Oline.

That wont matter. The NFL doesnt care if they use drugs or beat women. The NFL cares if thet get caught doing so.

I trade down and draft several oline. The giant would likely take Allen as he was the #1 QB on their board.
