Whatever dude the problem is you think we were suppose to be chasing after a SuperBowl we werent he took the opportunity to evaluate a player who appeared to be the better option because he plays exstremely wellin practice and preseason. HE JUST CANT HANDLE THE PRESSURE OR SCHEMES OF A REGULAR SEASON GAME. The only way to see that is to have him play in the regular season. He also gave him another opportunity, when it was clear that he wasnt going to overcome that here he cut him. -

Dude Glenn had issues that affected his play every season. KW was one of the best in the NFL every year regardless of any minor injuries Glenn had foot issues. KW played in 89% of the games in his career. CG played in 81% and played a lot of games with a bad foot that greatly hindered hisblevel of play. Its easy to try and argue the number of games missed when KW played 6 more seasons than CG, thats almost double the games 96 games more Youre one of those guys someone ask you what color money is and you say red cuz you dont know any better but when they show you its green you still insist its red. Done talkin to ya. -

Well the playoffs werent really the goal. I believe at that point they knew Tyrod wasnt their guy and wanted to see what they had in Peterman. I suspect Peterman is a practice MVP as well as a preseason MVP. For whatever reason he seems to make poor decisions in game. So I dont fault McDermott in the slightest. As you can see Peterman is still being given a chance to show he can develope. -

The NYG had Allen as the #1 QB on there board as did other teams. As all players do but we are talking about injuries that affect performance in season. Youre trying to argue with facts here bud. If youre going to keep refusing to acknowledge facts then Im just not going to converse with you. -

They key term is oft. It means often. One injury is one time not often. Im not saying I dont wish we kept Cordy but oftinjured is accurate. He was always struggling with his foot and back which sometimes affected him while he was playing. I also thing Cordy was very under appreciated on this board. But just so its cleat KW missed 10 games in a single season due to a single injury. One time is not often. I cant remember a season that Cordy was injured to the point that it affected hos play significantly for at least a single game. He was injured often hence the term oftinjured (often-injured) -
Chargers vs Ravens: Who will beat the Patriots?
formerlyofCtown replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Lamar has staying power if he puts in the work. I think his potential as a passer is higher than Vic or McNabb. I dont think it is as high as Allens or Rodgers or Moon but he has the potential to become a very good mobile passer. He remonds me of Cunningham I think the Ravens are hoping he puts it all together faster than he did though. -

The team that plays them and scores more points than them in that game. -

You dont really trade down to get the player you covet. 32 teams passed on Wilson twice. I wanted him in the 1st. Kyle missed all of that at one time didnt he. -

I dont understand the shock of some posters at our 6-10 record. McBeane stated that there would be a step back. -

So then trade her for Lamar Jacksons mom and a 5th rounder. -

Its a good day when the complaint about your HC is that he claps to much. -

No he passed to draft the guy he wanted that was coming out the following year. He also aquired a first round pick to move up the following year if necessary. -
Robert Foster makes PFF All-Rookie Team

As I said any several post I believe they are going to target a big WR. I havnt watch much film on him yet as I have been living at work but Size wise Metcalf fits the bill in the draft. -

From what I took from a Daboll statement on the different ways a WR is open that is exactly the type of WR we are going after in the off season. Its a bit of speculation on my part but it is the third type that he mentioned and the only one We are lacking. KB was supposed to fill that role. -

Sorry I should have explained further. The post I responded to said he needs WRs that get very open. While his passes are either on the money or off to the point that nobody is gonna catch them. When I say misfire I mean way off. Sorry for not stating such. Also accuracy and consistancy are two different things. -

I think you are going to be disappointed as Metcalf has the size I believe they will be looking for. -

But Ive read on TSW that he wont even be on this team next year. Actually Allen has pin point accuracy it is just that he misfires sometimes. That started to disapate as the season went on and will likely further deminish in the offseason. -
As does the running game.

They are the same type of WRs NE uses so that is the type we went after. Now I believe we will get a catch radius type guy. -
NFL fines Jordan Mills more than Kiko and Quinn

So much for protecting the QB. Maybe Cam has a point when he says they only protect certain QBs. -
While I respect your opinion on Rudolph I disagree. I watch all of his college film and he threw the prettyest deepball of the group. He was also exstremely accurate and seemed to command the huddle well. Maybe he wont be able to transition that to the NFL you never truely know 100%. I had him as my 3rd rated QB on draft day with Mayfield 1 and Allen 2. So far I think Im right on the money. While a lot of people called the later 2 busts.
