  1. Id take that. I dont view Hockenson as a top 10 talent as some do but I do think he will end up being a really good TE.
  2. They averaged 4.7 yards per carry and 7.3 yards per pass and Gore kinda became the forgotten man IIRC.
  3. and RBs, and Oline, and th Dline aint bad either. As much as we dont like him kiko is good.
  4. Taking BPA makes you take players based on how they grade and not on what you need. If you have a player that is a need and he grades well you may move up to get him. If you have two players that are close in grades you take the need. It doesnt mean you are going to take the highest graded player. It has to make sense as well. You cant draft a QB every year obviously. But, what people dont think about is the fact that a vet might have a contract year coming up and BPA may give you options. It may allow you to trade that vet rather than paying a kings ransom. One of the ways you can tell McBean and teams like NE adhere to BPA is they move around a lot in the draft, because you do need to fill your needs.
  5. I think they had and still have some good talent outside of QB.
  6. I am, I would like him here on a two year deal with an option for a 3rd. It depends on the cost. There were 3 RBs I would have signed to bigger deals. One is now in Clevland. The other is smoking crack with what he wants to get paid. So that leaves Ajayi. If we cant get Ajayi or Bell in FA then I'll take one in the draft.
  7. These women got paid for what they were doing and chose to do so until proven otherwise. Their living conditions where likely much better than they would have been in their home country. "They got paid to play the game".
  8. Maybe the NFL will hire an Asian prostitute to spank him and use an item that a Bills fan threw on the field to give him an "Unhappy Ending"
  9. Not a huge difference statistically over the last 4 years. Quinn has a bit more production, it was good to see him play a full season though.
  10. I disagree with that assessment. If the only thing you look at is total tackles then it would look that way. The only One that was better was Darius Leonard IMO.
  11. Im not sure how many opportunities he had to do so but I know I saw at least one contested catch. I think most of the time it isnt necessary because hes exstremely fast and a much better route runner than given credit for. He does a good job utilizing the DBs fear of his speed as well.
  12. Well, one scored a 37 on the wonderlic and the othe scored 33. There will be different wrinkles and different plays. The E/P system isnt complex in its self. What requires intelligents is what you do as an offense changes from week to week based on your team and your opponent. A lot more teams have used it than I had originally believed. I guess you could say the Offense itself isnt complex as much as the reason some teams use it.
  13. 2 Centers and one guard as well as a RT. One TE and a bunch of defenders. Now Tags and extensions may change that.
  14. Our Offense requires highly intelligent WRs
  15. No thanks, Ive had them before. Allen can see the whole field from the pocket. Tyrod can finally see the whole field...from the bench.
  16. Bell and Brown to Indy and the best we could hope for is runner up for the next 3-4 years.
  17. I hope so. I do know that this FO and coaching staff work well together and I believe the communication is there from Ownership all the way down to the janiter. Thats the biggest difference I see. They seem to be able to motivate and develope players as well and hopefully the training staff does a better job. Weve had good players and decent teams, weve also had poor coaching, poor player developement, infighting and an owner who probably ment well but should have let the people he hired do their jobs and stayed out of it.
  18. I hope that they will all be All-Pros given that redrafts do little for winning games.?
  19. Especially since we gave 2 first for the last guy that had a stretch like that. Actually Edmonds play was better than average and Williams was turning into a very good safety before injuries derailed his career. He was a CB turned safety which took a little time to transition.
  20. And the non social justice warrior comparison. Randall Cunningham ceiling for Lamar Jackson. Not because hes is or isnt black but because its an accurate statement ( I honestly believe he will have a better career than Cunningham if they dont change offenses often). I said before the draft Josh Allens ceiling is John Elway and that is accurate. And yes other than the fact they really dont remind me of each other in any way The Lamar and Elway comparison is a good one.? John Elway was athletic with a cannon for an arm which of the two does that remind you of.
  21. It wont be too difficult to get better on the Oline.
  22. I dont think we are at a point where Beane would make that trade.
  23. Agree with you on some things but I believe we will be a gameplan offense we wont be run first or pass first. We will take advantage of the oppenents weakness and emphisies our players strengths.
  24. Except our guys seem to be rated higher than where they were taken for the most part. I trust this front office. At this point those are two players I wouldnt even consider before the 20s, no way in hell do I take either at 9. We will see how the combine and Pro Days go. Myself I still have a lot of film to watch, but these DTs are beasts. I actually would rather spend that money on Oline and a TE. It takes time to develope TEs and OL more often than not. We have one of the best cap situations in the league.
