RD 2, Pick 38: OT Cody Ford, Oklahoma
RocCityRoller replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
had to vent, took a lot of abuse the last year. great picks by OBD this year and last, and I like their plan leave it to a time lord to calm down posts of the past ? Always pick up QBs with potential. Heck, I'd take Josh Rosen with a few mid rounders if possible and turn him into picks. -

I had OL and DL 1 and 2. I also predicted Rosen to Miami (waiting to happen) and was anti Rosen this time last year I compared JA to Favre a year ago based on analysis, and got flamed I also liked Kyle Vander Esch over Edmunds, look it up I'll keep on with my 'expert analysis'. Better than you taking a 3rd rounder in the first at 9. and PS 'what's his name' was a top 10 WR in yards and catches in the last 6 weeks of the season. Bonus Josh Allen likes to throw to him. With a decent OL he will have more time to find him. Not rocket science. That is why Cody Ford was a great pick. -

This guy just blocked for Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield. 2 Heisman winning, first round QB picks, from Oklahoma in back to back years. Yeah, I'll take that chance. You really are clueless. -

Wanted Ford or Little, and as we astutely recognized, they went 1-2 in the second round. I think Buffalo wanted Little, when he was taken Ford must have been 2b by a very slim margin, so OBD went up to get him. -

6.08 grade from NFL.com - Should Become Instant Starter Overview Ford offers a rare combination of physical and athletic traits that will have NFL teams dreaming of his upside. He is raw and relatively inexperienced as a starting tackle with exploitable holes that will need to be patched before he can thrive in the pros. As a tackle, he's a developmental, high-risk/reward talent. The safer (and better?) route might be to play him as a guard where he will face less exposure in pass protection and where his size and athleticism should allow him to become a plus run-blocker fairly quickly. ************************************************************************************************************************* This isn't Madden, you protect your franchise. I guess you liked Mills and garbage at G protecting Josh Allen. I stand by my assertion that Ford is a day 1 starter at LG. If the RTs bomb out he can slide there. -

At worst he is a 10 yr LG, at best he is a 10 yr RT. Happy either way. With Morse and Ford the OL is significantly improved. Shady, Gore and Josh all just did shots. -

Are you benching John Brown, Robert Foster or Cole Beasley for Dookie Metcalf? DK is Stephen Hill all over again. Protect your franchise. Let him make plays with his legs and arm. Ford is a starting LG for a decade and can swing to T if needed. Great pick. You get a Qb and build inside out. -

LT Dawkins LG Ford C More RG RT RG and RT are a FA free for all. May the cream of the crop rise. -
I like AJ Brown too. Just feels like a productive NFL WR. Samuel does too.

I agree with BPA at one of these positions or DB. S is weak after Poyer and Hyde, and a few good ones fell. Just say no to DK he is Stephen Hill all over again. Butler, Deebo or AJ Brown will all be better pros IMO. Lots of good T/G prospects to stick between Morse and Dawkins to shore up 1/2 of the OL, with a FA free for all on the other side. Ford/ Risner come to mind. if Irv Smith falls all bets are off One of these guys will be available at 40. Buffalo will of course draft a RB or LB.... ?

RD 1, Pick 9: DT Ed Oliver, University of Houston

said the Bills sense of community was a big thing he liked. Plenty of good football players don't want glitz and glamour in a city/ region. Football, team and community mean a lot to a lot of players. -
Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
RocCityRoller replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Easy there big fella. A swap of firsts and a second next year, yes all day every day. Effectively what I proposed with this year's first and a third-4th next year. time value of picks and or money -

I wanted Frank Clark here. Not at the cost of #9 and next years 2nd. This team is not where KC is. KC can give away draft capital to make a run this year, and they will. KC had the #29th pick? Big difference from #9. I advocated Bills #40 this year and a pick next year. Buffalo is a year or two away from that situation. Use #9 and the rest of the draft to find as much talent as you can. Make this type of move when you are looking to fill specific needs, rather than reach on a draft choice. -
TSW Mock Draft 3.0 Final - Completed

I think Dillard will end up being the best pure LT in the draft. Not a beast in RB but a solid PB guy in a pass happy league.
