  1. Felt this way about a lot of 'prime time' teams this year. Pats, Rams, Chiefs, Cowboys then who? Ravens, Seahawks then......
  2. I actually cracked this very joke in a business meeting today...... African or European?
  3. ok I meant 2 TD lead... you got me. continue being miserable, sorry to get in your way Where is Tyrod these days?
  4. 2 weeks ago the Jets were competing with Buffalo as #2 in the Division. They did sign top tier talent. RB Bell check, LB Mosely check, Osemele OG check. Buffalo went mid range OL, WR and RB. 9 of 11 new starters on offense, no one broke the bank. Build inside out. Us old folks keep saying it. Build inside out. OL, DL, LB #1 WR, #1 RB is a luxury. Build inside out, ask Luck or Watson.
  5. God Lord I was unaware of that albatross....
  6. A good chubbie is a beautiful thing.... Some people pay for it
  7. Reich won't let him go, Chad Kelly is a bit of a mess, but is a talented QB. When you are down to Brisett as starter you keep Kelly on.
  8. I saw something at the end of the 1st half. Dumb little thing, but I looked for it. Baker failed at it, Allen succeeded. Just something I noticed. Looking for more.
  9. Up by 14 go into half time with a two possession lead Up by 10 try to go up by 13 and force a 2 possession lead common sense
  10. With Peyton Manning doing a snarky voice over like Mystery Science Theater?
  11. up 14 even with Cleveland 'going for it' they are not up 14. try harder to be a hater
  12. classic trap game Cincy has a veteran QB, plenty of weapons on offense to keep this uncomfortably close. Buffalo must focus on taking care of business this week. The vaunted Buffalo Defense needs to start forcing turnovers and give JA some short field opportunities.
  13. Good to see our Safeties playing with aggression. Let Pegula pay the fine and keep playing clean, hard defense. I don't think it was intentional.
  14. If Josh Allen made some of the throws Matt Ryan, or Carson Wentz did last night there would be pitchforks. But many on TBD would rather have them. Matt Ryan is a good QB, but has been bailed out by superior offensive talent. The game winner to Julio was a designed play where the LT killed a DB (was it assault?) and Julio ran for the majority of the yards after the catch. That is superior play design, and having Julio that can outrun a defense. Ryan took 'gunslinger' shots on two of his three picks last night. Ryan is in year 11, and those are throws we don't want Allen to make in year 2. Carson Wentz leads his receivers (WR, RB, TE) into destruction. Play after play Wentz led people into getting lit up. High passes, leading players into a S or LB over and over again. Allen doesn't do this. Go figure, having NFL capable WRs and maybe TEs is helping Allen with completion %. Plenty of time to get a stud or two in WR, TE or some stud RBs to help out. Allen is progressing well above the mean, and the cake is still baked vanilla.
  15. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that people who still do not get this are younger or haven't been in a management role over shift supervisor. Culture is vital.
  16. No. Just No. Kelly's OL with Will Wolford (OT) and Kent Hull (C) clearly better at #2. Improved, yes. Defending the QB physically, yes. Improvement, yes. Electric Company no. Not even the Water Works yet, and I love Monopoly.
  17. It's gotten interesting with Luck retiring and Big Ben out. Brady is alone Mahomes is catching up Watson is a stud behind a terrible OL (Luck 2.0?) Rivers keeps compiling numbers, but injuries and hold outs are adding up. After that it is mud. Who will crawl out of the mud? I'll take JA in the top 8 for certain.
  18. Would also like to know for Eagles vs Bills on October 27.
  19. A split to go 10-6 and host a playoff game is a win and a step forward.
  20. Pre Draft: 1) Mayfield - moxy, swagger, live arm. Walk on to Heisman. 2) Rudolph - looked like an NFL QB leading a very dangerous college offense, some physical limitations (yep I had Rudolph #2) 3) Darnold - same as above but with a lot more turnovers and no physical limits as a pure passer 4) Allen - highest ceiling, highest risk, sub par competition (reminded me of JP Losman) 5) Rosen - I wrote blistering attacks about him. Talented in the right situation, me first, not a team guy, injury prone 6) Jackson - best athlete of the bunch, worst QB from an NFL perspective 7) Lauletta As of today: 1) Mayfield - had a very strong rookie season and laid a turd in week 1. He will feast on the Jets. Still feel the same about him 2) Allen/ Jackson - have done the work in the offseason and have taken advantage of soft schedules, their athleticism, and they both have OCs helping bring out the best in them. This tie will be broken when the schedules get harder and defenses see more film on the offenses they are running. 3) Darnold - good QB, bad situation DNQ) Rosen and Rudolph - Rosen and Allen both had garbage at OL and WR in year 1. Still not looking good for Rosen. Rudolph has 14 games to show what he has on a still talented Steelers team, though the run game may be bad without Conner. Will know more about both after the season. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
  21. That play design was nasty. LT was sent out to crush the DB, like a one man screen.
  22. Don't remind me.... And Wentz refuses to throw to Ertz...
