Are you thinking of Lee Smith? Lee 'Drive Killer' Smith had 8 penalties, 5 were false starts, 3 were holds. Kroft had 3 penalties - 3 false starts. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/penalties-player.html?yr=2019&tm=4 It's aok not to like a player, and I would have been fine swapping Lee or Kroft with Ebron, but adding Lee Smith's penalties to any other player is really unfair! big red zone target

Fun part is I literally drafted top player available every round ? Somehow ended up with a great young RB room (Singletary/ Dobbins/ Dillon) TE competition with Kmet a thumper at LB with Brooks A C prospect in the wings given Morse's history a nasty little WR in Proche and a S prospect 54: R2P22 RB J.K. I can live with missing out on Fowler/ Armstead/ Lloyd, letting Lawson and Phillips go, not going balls in on Clowney or Ngouke if we get the Mack Attack in town! Diggs, Maddison AND Mack. Now we're talking SB!!! Do it when your QB is on his rookie contract. PUSH THE CHIPS IN -

Kalil Mack to Buffalo for a SB run just feels like good karma, doesn't it? -
I thought it would be fun to do some mock drafts where the actual BPA on the board was picked for all rounds. At worst it's silly fun to pass quarantine. At best we see what positions have deep depth and can get some new names to look up for draft picks. Fanspeak, most recent (3/17) needs, draftek board, difficult setting It seems there is late depth at C and LB? 54: R2P22 C LLOYD CUSHENBERRY - LSU Overview Starting-caliber center with big hands, long arms and good core strength to match power on power when needed. Cushenberry isn't rigid or stiff, but he does have some limitations with lateral quickness, which show up against athletic edge rushers and with potential run game limitations in space. He's extremely difficult to bull-rush and is rarely beaten to the punch in his pass sets. LSU was frequently tasked with five-man protections in its passing scheme, which put Cushenberry on more of an island than he will see as a pro, so scouts should account for that. He's a do-your-job prospect with the strength to handle an odd-front nose and could be a long-time starter. Back up to Morse (concussions)/ groom a Center for the future 86: R3P22 LB MALIK HARRISON - OHIO STATE Overview Long-legged, loose-hipped linebacker with desired combination of size, physicality and range to help ruin the running game for teams needing linebacker help. His constant downhill mode disrupts blocking schemes and brings impact tackles, but it can be used against him with play-action and misdirection. The instincts are just average but his physical traits even it out on most snaps. He has some coverage limitations but can pressure the pocket as a blitzer and has the athleticism to spy mobile quarterbacks. He's big and tough with the potential to become a good starter inside or as a 4-3 strong-side linebacker. LORAX Replacement? 128: R4P22 C JAKE HANSON - OREGON Overview Four-year starter who has the ability to assimilate into a variety of schemes but is unlikely to stand out in any particular one. His strong, accurate hands and determined effort are his calling cards and he's been able to hang in against a series of big, talented interior linemen over the years. He lacks power and mass, which could hurt his chances with teams who play against odd-front defenses, but he's a steady performer who could offer late-round value as a backup. well I didn't cheat 155: R5P9 RB JOSHUA KELLEY - UCLA Overview Physical, downhill runner best-suited for gap-scheme rushing attack. On most carries, it feels like Kelley is playing a game of chicken against defenders when he ducks his head and hits the accelerator into contact. He's going to create some yardage after contact and break tackles here and there, but he tends to become a tackle magnet who is not able to make tacklers miss. He's a tough runner with short-yardage ability and maybe even third-down value. He could be a Day 3 pick with RB3 potential, but he might always be fighting for his job. a Big Back - Rookie Jordan Howard type 188: R6P9 LB SHAQUILLE QUARTERMAN - MIAMI Overview Four-year starter and team leader with a physical demeanor and impressive level of production. Quarterman is durable and dependable in the middle of the defense, but he lacks NFL range and has below-average short-area agility and quickness as open-field tackler. He's a linear, downhill thumper, but struggles to stay ahead of climbing blocks when runs flow wide. His size and toughness give him a shot as a backup inside linebacker. LB Depth/ ST/ PS? 207: R6P28 OT YASIR DURANT - MISSOURI Overview Big, long three-year starter who will likely be evaluated as a right tackle but could offer swing tackle or guard value on the next level. Durant is somewhat limited as a mover and isn't going to excite many teams as a run blocker, but his length and anchor strength in pass protection is what will be most appealing. He can handle garden variety pass rushers but might need a quarterback who gets it out on time due to issues against edge speed. Durant has good backup to slightly below average starter potential. We love Below Avg RT starters! 239: R7P25 EDGE BRYCE STERK - MONTANA STATE Sterk (6'5/250) was originally at Washington, but when former Huskies defensive line coach Jeff Choate became the head coach at Montana State, the three-star recruit followed him to the Bobcats. He was one of the best defensive linemen in the Big Sky last year, registering 8.5 sacks and 17 tackles for loss. Haley notes that he has good size and speed, and that he also plays with a high motor. Pretty good combination, if you ask us. No nfl.com profile... wanted to find something about Rd 7 guys

Bills Sign Mario Addison on a 3 year deal
RocCityRoller replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fills a need, very productive, knows the scheme, market rate. Age is a major concern for me. 33 in September. Those who wanted Calais Campbell or Everson Griffen should be happy. Addison is right there. I'm not sure that the DL additions (Addison/Butler/Jefferson) offset the losses (Lawson/Phillips/Liguet) when the $ is basically the same or more. If I do a 3/30 deal I'm inclined to go with the younger guy, but pass rushers do tend to have mileage. Lawson got better each year and is entering his prime. His statistical track is actually is very close to Addison's, but he is 25. Both are good run defenders and Addison didn't break 6.5 sacks until year 7. Lawson is entering year 5. Butler was a bust until his contract year. Same could be said for Phillips, Phillips production was better. Jefferson had 59 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 4 years. Good back fill, maybe better against the run, but on the fence for the losses and cost. -
Bills sign RB Taiwan Jones 1 YR

Cool, you seemed really down on the addition. I can envision Singletary, RB Draft pick, Jones as the 3 RB and see ya later Yeldon and Perry. -
What would an “All In” move be to you?
RocCityRoller replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kalil Mack. 13 mil this year and 17 mil next year (base salary) are more palatable now that Lawson and Phillips each got 10 mil a year. Not sure what portion of the signing bonus or salary Chicago would eat. He is 28-29, loves Buffalo, adds the Pass rush difference maker and has a favorable out in 2022, when JA needs to be extended. Would rather have him than Ngouke or Clowney. -
Ways That Diggs Is Major Game Changer For Offense
RocCityRoller replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like both, and both are possible. RT is still a concern but hard to have everything. Having Smoke and Diggs outside forces a S deep. Lots of speed and good hands outside now. It should mean easier running lanes for DS and JA and whoever else gets into the mix, and less clutter in the middle of the field for the short/intermediate game too. -

The draft has not happened yet. Plenty of good backs in rounds 2-5. This is a ST move, 3 phases. And T Jones had a pretty big play in the payoffs..... Cam Phillips Balled out in the XFL! -
Many people that have the virus aren't showing any symptoms, or mild ones like a cold or flu. But this virus spreads quickly, and a person can be infectious and spread it to other people without having any symptoms. Don't want the grand kids visiting their grand parents who are more at risk for major illness or death.

So in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic and the internal melt down by OPEC we are seeing some real panic and market downturns. Zombie lines of the great unwashed masses line parking lots in mass gatherings for toilet paper and hand sanitizer. They gather in lines and crowded markets during a time of supposed social isolation (duh) Preppers look bit smarter as the media keeps pumping out stories of quarantine and testing shortages. Russia and Saudi Arabia are in a hard to explain oil dumping pissing match. Oil is @$31 a barrel. In the short run things look a bit bleak. There will be more panic selling in the next week or two to come, especially as new testing reveals more people have COVID-19 globally than originally tested. There will be viral spread until inflection. Early testing kits in China, South Korea, Japan and other places will show that the rushed testing was not as accurate as reported, and that the slow but steady measures by the CDC/FDA worked again. Who knows how the Russia vs Saudi oil pissing match will play out. The US will buy oil at record lows. The news will continue to sensationalize the story, reports of shortages will abound, quarantine efforts spread, US testing response was poor.... Certainly travel restrictions do help slow the infection spread. When Austria banned travel to and from Italy, the EU was not happy. Looks wise now. When Trump issued a travel ban to and from China, he was called 'a racist', but it looks wise now. The ban should have included more countries. (NY outbreak tied to travel to and from Italy) Could you have imagined the feigned outrage if such a step was implemented? Even though travel bans are 'racist' NYS can ban public assemblies of more than 500... The enlightened college I work for stops all classes for the semester and will have students take classes remotely, but the shlub staff still has to report to location. Public schools still in session, for now. Kind of a mixed signal there. Why? Certainly, limiting visits to hospitals/ senior communities helps reduce infection to the most at risk. My mom, a vet, feels infringed upon. Certainly if you have a compromised immune system this is a time for caution. Maybe it's time for government run detainment centers? I digress. Let's put things into perspective: A total of 156k people globally have been 'confirmed' to be infected, out of a world population of 7.7 billion people over 3 months of mixed responses. The number of infected is higher than currently reported due to lack of good testing in all countries (hard to develop a test for a new virus and be accurate). But, based on what we know the count is 156,000 globally, or 1 in 50,000. Global known deaths are 5819, largely clustered in a few places. That is 1 in 1.3 million people. The probability of being struck by lightning is 1 in 700,000. The probability of dying in a car crash in the USA is 1 in 77 USA Heart attack 1 in 4. In the USA known Coronavirus infections are 2726. The 2018-2019 flu infected 35.5 MILLION, or 1 in 10, with 34,000 deaths. No outrage, no panic. Life moved on. The 2009 swine flu infected @ 60 MILLION US Residents, or 1 in 6. Do you remember an outrage or panic? 1 in 6 infected!!! Where was the media? 12,000 Americans died to Swine Flu.... Minimal media sensationalism, plenty of TP on shelves, no panic. The above were called flus, this is a VIRUS!!! The COVID-19 is more deadly at the moment. While mortality rates for flu are between 0.1% and 0.2% and swine flu was 0.02%, COVID-19 is holding steady at 2.5-3%. I'll wager a guess that by the time this is all done that will shrink to 0.4-0.6% with total global infection rates in the 1 in 6 to 1 in 10 range. Opportunity knocks. The S&P 500 was at 2278 when Trump took office. As of Friday it was 2711up 19%, but quite a tumble from 3225 (41%) a few weeks ago before the Coronavirus and the oil war. Either would have done some damage, but this is a nasty 1,2 combo. I find it odd that Russia is dumping oil in a reelection year during a viral outbreak that has much of the world nervous, and the economy of the USA in a freeze. That is less than neighborly behavior toward a supposed 'ally' by helping tank an economy. Then again the Russia 'connection' could have been cr@p all along. If you were like me and missed out on getting into the market in 2016, and had money tied up in Cash/Money Market/ Bond investments I think the next week or two will be a generational market buying opportunity. Wait a week if you want, but the low point will be within the next 4 weeks. A plain old market index fund will reap nice rewards a year or two from now. As for quick plays look to the companies that the FDA/CDC has recently approved for testing: Roche Diagnostics (RHHBY) is trading at 40.30 (40.0 in after hours trading). It was approved for USA screening of COVID-19 on Friday. https://diagnostics.roche.com/us/en/news-listing/2020/roche-receives-fda-emergency-use-authorization-for-cobas-sars-co.html I expect a 10-20%return over the next month. Get in early, ride it for 3-4 weeks, get out. they have their own COVID-19 screening test. Their machinery is wide spread in many labs, and each can process 4000 tests in a day. Same for Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO) 300.12 as of Friday. https://www.statnews.com/2020/03/14/thermo-fisher-to-produce-millions-of-coronavirus-diagnostic-tests/ Both have had early recovery from the market fall, but there is meat on the bone. Lastly oil futures. Oil is at $31 a barrel. Take up some buy options with a basket of oil producers. From 2018 to 2020 it was rare for oil price per barrel prices to drop below $45 a barrel.
