Why are a bunch of fans happy to bring in a guy who can't stay healthy, has been largely a bust and looks washed after a dreaded Achilles tear in 2020? What you saw last year is post Achiles OJ Howard. 3.5 million for 140 yards and 1 TD? Could have all but locked up Bates for the same money (2nd round tender is 3.8 million) I don't get it

Harrison Phillips to Vikings, 3 year 19.5 million
RocCityRoller replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude hitched his wagon to Kyle Williams early on. Good optics, Kyle was a fan favorite. Harry never lived up to it. Happy for Harry. Good guy overall, great pay day for him. Over-sign for Minny. Not worth it IMO. -
You do know Mitch Trubisky is 29-21 as a starter with a horrible offense and crap HC? He led Chicago to 2 playoff appearances in 4 years ... (2018 and 2020) He has 2 TD-0 INT in the playoffs His kicker missed a short FG to advance one of those years. 64TD - 38INT ratio, in Chicago. The weapons Pittsburgh has are far better than he had in Chicago. You sound silly Wasn't his contract with Buffalo 1 Yr/ 2.5 million? how do you figure $14 million?

Well he can play center..... not sure I want him to be my Day 1 starter at C. NYG trying to fix the OL and give Jones a real opportunity. C - Feliciano G - Glowinski (nice pick up tbh) Can see Williams there at RG too. -
Harrison Phillips to Vikings, 3 year 19.5 million

Bought my JA17 jersey in 2019.... still looks good Harrison Phillips got 6.5 million a year??? Yikes.... Congrats Harry -
You don't beat the Chiefs or Bellicheck teams, or the 2019 Texans this way.

We had Liguet and Star last year. Big ugly's at the 1. Oliver, Phillips, Jefferson are good options at 3 technique. I think people dismiss Liuget's contributions last year. He provided a rotation to keep Star fresh, and the run D was better after he was signed. This year we are light at DT this year. We need a few 'big uglies' added to DT. Liguet and or 'Snacks' anyone? The last I knew Liuget is on the Texans PC. Snacks is unsigned.

Postgame Thread: Bills at Raiders

4-0 is great, onto the Titans. Wins vs Las Vegas and the Titians help vs wild card teams in case of tie breakers. Team needs to learn how to close out games, they are learning how to win. Been up multiple TD's in almost every game, but two have come down to onsides kicks. C. Bojorquez needs to learn how to push laces out. The XP miss clearly shows laces to the right. Defense was sparked by plays from Jefferson, Oliver, Norman, Milano. Too bunched up early. Tre Edmunds is a terrible MLB. Thank god the offense with Allen, Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Davis, Kroft, Knox and Singletary bailed them out again. Depth at OL helped. Defense is missing Lawson, Phillips and Star. The replacements are avg at best (Addison excluded) Bring in Snacks, like Liuget last year. People laughed at me thinking Liuget wouldn't be missed. He was a run stuffing machine. Losing Liuget and Star is too much. Bring in Liuget or Snacks to help the D-line, the Bills need a true 1 technique guy. -

So much salt I could open a pretzel factory. I didn't revive this old post btw. Some dufus tried to call me out over a 2 yr old post I was right about, and I am the bad guy? Laughable. But is is TBD. Only on TBD could a guy point out why a QB may have a chance, be right (thankfully) and be called out. I'll ratchet up the LAMP and say Tre Edmunds still sucks. He is a terrible MLB. Call things what they are. -
Thank you New Era for the bump. I have been looking for these posts. I'm not sure why you did a LOL emoji on this post. I was one of the first on TBD to say 'Hey we may have a Brett Favre here'. I was flamed pretty hard and ridiculed pretty often for being open minded about the pick, and looking for comps. JA is this generation's Brett Favre. And Buffalo got him. I think I said it first back in 2018.

CA to ban all new sales of internal combustion engine cars in CA by 2035 In the midst of Mandated blackouts in CA due to an inability to generate or buy enough electricity for the state, Governor Newsom has decided to put much more strain on the power grid by mandating all new cars and trucks to be EVs by 2035..... As usual a lefty blames an ism or sketchy 'science' for their policy failures. Some history and facts https://www.eia.gov/electricity/policies/legislation/california/subsequentevents.html https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/blackout/california/timeline.html In 2011, California passed the Renewables Portfolio Standard setting the mandate at 33 percent renewable energy by 2020. When it became clear that California was nearly there, in 2015, the Legislature moved the bar again and passed SB 350 the “Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act of 2015.” SB 350 by Sen. President pro Tem Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles), requires the state to procure 50 percent of electricity from renewable energy and double energy efficiency savings by 2030. In 2018, Gov. Jerry Brown signed Senate Bill 100, setting a 100 percent clean electricity goal for the state, and issued an executive order establishing a new target to achieve carbon neutrality – both by 2045. These mandates leave utility companies no wiggle room. Using more renewable energy causes the entire electricity grid to be unreliable because sun and wind are intermittent and inconsistent. Only one year after adopting SB 350, the announcement in 2016 from PG&E that it was closing Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant ironically came on the same day there were rolling blackouts in Los Angeles amid sweltering temperatures. PG&E said they planned to replace the loss of the cheap, clean nuclear energy with renewable energy. https://californiaglobe.com/section-2/get-used-to-it-californias-rolling-blackouts-power-outages/ https://www.cnn.com/2001/US/05/08/calif.power.crisis.02/ https://www.sacbee.com/news/business/article224750505.html https://wattsupwiththat.com/2019/05/14/californias-government-solely-responsible-for-states-forest-management-and-wildfire-debacle/ https://californiapolicycenter.org/environmentalists-destroyed-californias-forests/ -
