  1. Some estrogen filled soy boy just grew a thick thatch of chest hair, threw away his skinny jeans and ordered a sirloin steak because of this post!
  2. Well the Rams have been to 2 Super Bowls winning 1. I'll take that. They trade potential in picks for known quantities in the NFL. I'd rather have a known quantity 4 or less years than long term 'potential' with Edmunds/ Ford/ Oliver/ Epenesa One of Beane's best 2 best moves in the first round was trading the pick for Diggs. Even when losing 'rental players' like Von Miller or OBJ they back fill with Bobby Wagner and Allen Robinson, not seeing a fail point here.
  3. Didn't they get divorced because she claimed he was cheating on her?
  4. for those of you saying 30, 40, 50 are you talking bone in chicken wings? Does that include the Wings and Drumstick mix we are used to? I get we have some big eaters, but those must be some small @ss wings. Ordering out I am done by 18 and need an angioplasty. Its about a dozen max at home in the airfryer since those are the large wings and drum sticks you by in packs from Wegmans or Tops.
  5. Isn't the friend's wife scummy too? No one much cares if he is beating the bishop to photos of his friend's wife as much as going balls deep in her. Pretty sure it was consentual since this doesn't involve the Browns or Chiefs.
  6. Then I guess I don't understand what you were saying about the 49ers 'always lose to teams 'with a real QB' in the playoffs'. SF beat GB, who has Rodgers at QB, the last two times they played in the playoffs (2019 and 2021). I get the general point, it helps to have a stud QB to go all the way. Since Beane hit on the stud QB he gets a lot of lee-way and rose colored glasses I also understand some of the less popular opinions that Beane's premium picks other than Allen and Diggs have not been that great.
  7. I'd be careful to judge someone based a small isolated clip from an hour long interview. I listened to about 25 minutes and 'the rest of the story' tells a very different tale than this clip. I think his comments were meant to say the team came out flat against KC. Other than Allen and Davis who showed up? Beasley, maybe Ed Oliver or Taron Johnson. That was it. Diggs, Knox and Singletary disappeared and no one on D stepped up to make a play. He is clearly hurt he was cut from a competing team where he became a starter, and feels like he could have contributed. Feliciano does not hold back on any topic and tells it how he feels about things, which is honestly refreshing from a pro athlete. Poor Conner Cook LOL As for being 'washed up' he is penciled in as the starting C for the OL the Giants are retooling down there.
  8. That character was on full display the past week in Buffalo, wasn't it? Last I checked this team is one of the favorites this year to win the SB too.... how did that happen? So you don't consider Aaron Rodgers a 'real QB?'
  9. I appreciate Cynthia Frelund's approach to analysis based on her model. It is still just one model and models have flaws. None are predictive. They are good at finding trends, correlations and 'most likely' outcomes. I would be interested to see how accurate her model was in predicting actual outcomes for the past 5 years, versus other models and just gut feeling.
  10. Pretty sure they were referring to the Baltimore home game where the state/county limited attendance to 6k. Other thoughts: The home viewing schedule is disrupted by this move. More so are the fans who attend and may have to make travel arrangements for Monday night, late Sunday night games. A 1 pm game that ends @4:00 pm has much different travel requirements than a game ending @11:00 pm or later for people coming in from Ontario or areas east of Rochester. Even folks in Rochester don't get home until around 1:00 am. This has been covered in the thread above, since we think of games as participants. How does this effect other elements needed for a game? Potential stadium conflicts? Team staff and security schedules. Even more importantly what about local police (City/ Town or County) schedules etc. Not only are the fans attending the game affected, but so are the hundreds of people who are working the games in any capacity. This does not seem well thought out.
  11. ooh out there a bit. Is the nuclear 'cooker' still out there and active?
  12. What happened to type video about the combine doink and Steelers play I think it was made a few weeks before the Baltimore play 101 INT TD in Divisional versus Baltimore and breakdown of play. (PS at 0:23 how good is the Edmunds failure to wrap up Snead LOL) Johnson is one of my 5 favorite players on the team. Very good nickel corner, and has a lot of responsibility as a starter. One of the best individual defensive plays in a big time game since the 1990s teams. Many have noted the Carlton Bailey and Mike Stratton plays among others.
  13. Montgomery or Bucks County? I lived in Horsham/ Hatboro for about a decade. Really good news from athletes at the pro level, it's refreshing to see. I guess drafting 'choir boys' does pay off. Organizational culture matters.
  14. I'll pay attention more for that when viewing the Dolphins.
  15. oof that hurts if you are a Giants fan. Gone for nothing to an ascending divisional team!
  16. Agree with most of this. Don't forget Miami added Conner Williams to OG. He is an excellent pass blocker. They made protecting Tua a priority. They also have two WR who can make YAC to cover the downfield limitations of Tua. Yep, and while the Jets did lose Mayes, they added two legitimate NFL S in DJ Reed and Jordan Whitehead. Reminds me of when Buffalo added Poyer and Hyde who were good but not great and then drafted White to fit McDermott's defense. Like you mentioned, they get Lawson back to help them out, and moved up to take a flyer on Johnson who I think is boom or bust. CJ Mosley is no bum in the middle either and is a year removed from his injury. I think Saleh is getting the pieces he needs to put together a respectable Defense in the next season or two.
  17. Bills Dolphins Jets Pats Dolphins: People keep saying Tua can't hit Hill deep. True more often than not, but that is not how Hill did a lot of his damage. Tua is accurate and timely on 10-15 yard strikes. Hit Hill 10-15 yards, Hill has to make the first guy miss, then it's off to the races. They got a WR in Hill who can make a 20+ or even 40+ play out of a 10 yard pattern on any play. Explosive plays by YAC. in 2020 and 2021 Hill has 2515 yards receiving, 878 (35%) of that is YAC. Also doubling Hill means Waddle is left 1:1.... Go to a zone and Geisicki can do damage in the holes in the zone. Add in Cedric Wilson who will probably compete for the slot. They also added two excellent pass blockers to the OL (LT Armstead, OG Connor Williams) to help make Tua more comfortable in the pocket. If Tua falters/ misses time they have Bridgewater who should score points with the fire power on offense. The Defense did not improve much, but was solid last year. It comes down to Tua and coaching for the Dolphins. Does the defense regress losing Flores? Jets: Still team building but did well in FA and the draft. In FA they did add two very good S in Whithead and Reid (lost Mayes). Got Wilson a big target in CJ Uzomah. Improved OL with OG Lake Tomlinson. DL they get Carl Lawson back from injury. The draft was aggressive and could be a cornerstone of that franchise in the coming seasons. RB Breece Hall will help Wilson immediately. 2 first round picks on Def to help Saleh build the defense he likes to run. They may be a year away from seriously competing, but they are going to be a tough out. Wilson probably has the most upside of any QB not named Josh Allen in the division, and it's foolish to count out a QB after a rookie year. It would not surprise me if the Jets are #2 and competing with Buffalo late in the season for the East in 2023. It would not surprise me to see Baker Mayfield in a Jet or Dolphin uniform in 2023 if Tua or Wilson do not improve this season. Pats: created holes on the OL (Karras / Mason), let their best CB (JC Jackson) walk away to bring back Malcolm Butler. Tried to improve WR with Ty Montgomery and DeVante Parker. Added Peppers (S), Mack Wilson (LB) and T Mitchell (CB). A lot of shuffling, but not much improvement on OL, and not much more speed added to a defense that looked old and slow at the end of the season. Draft - reached to draft an OG because they traded/let walk their two OG. Since it is the Pats he will probably be good. WR Thornton is tall and fast. Between Montgomery/ Parker and Thornton they are trying to give Mac better weapons. Backfilled the CB position with a couple of Jones's. (could have 3x Jones in the DB position, outdoing our Williams's of the past!) Overall I think they did the least to net improve their roster. On paper the Bills/ Dolphins and Jets have some good deep rosters. New England is a tick away IMO. It will come down to QB play and coaching which is why the Pats are still dangerous. I think this is going to be a much tighter division than people think. JA is the difference and only real edge Buffalo has at the moment IMO.
  18. Correction - Vegas odds makers know the betting public really likes the Bills
  19. I'm starting to think death is the only escape
  20. More of deep disappointment. That was a missed opportunity, and one golden chance for Josh Allen to get a ring. As great as Peyton Manning was he only got two rings, and Aaron Rodgers has only one. That Bills team was 3rd in points for, 1st in points against. Through two games in the playoffs the Bills were playing their best football of the season since blowing out weaker teams early on. Seasons don't play out like that often. A team has to strike when the iron is hot. I generally support McDermott and appreciate what he has done for the Bills. He broke the playoff streak, the Bills are regular playoff contenders, they have a culture and expectation of winning, free agent veterans are coming here (most of the time). But, McDermott is supposed to be a really good defensive mind. Some of the biggest let downs this team has had in the biggest moments have been on defense. The 16-0 lead collapse to Houston in the playoffs, The Hail Murray and now 13 seconds. It is a growing point of concern to me.
  21. If her husband let her go then she is approaching Amber Heard levels of crazy on the Hot vs Crazy spectrum.
  22. Put some respect on Merrill Reese! I was in that market when WIP was still on 610 AM and just switching over.
