Yay! We are back to hating PFF again!
-
The most Cleveland thing would be for Watson to be suspended this year and have to beg Baker to play since he is under contract. Baker plays well this year needing to audition for other teams. He plays better than last year and well enough to take the Browns deep in the playoffs. He gets a great offer where he is wanted and moves on in free agency. The fans and locker room are left with the sexual deviant who hasn't played in two years and no first round pick for three seasons. 🤣 A true factory of sadness.

Yeah a few things I saw from reading about a dozen sources. Louis testified in Court Watson gave her the money Fiscal forensics verify the transaction/s through Cash App When asked about what the money was for, she said because 'he was a nice guy' The purpose Watson put down was 'for machinery' Multiple texts show a bunch of discourse between Watson and Louis, including her asking for 20k When Louis was asked about the texts she took the 5th None of that is good for Watson, or Louis. It makes me wonder if the DA wants to look at this as solicitation (madame) since at lest 3 of the 24 women came from the same spa. That could potentially reopen some criminal charges. it was the most complete, and unbiased article I found. Thought it was worth the share.

Yeah, the last one to come forward was a cosmetologist, nothing to do with treatment or massage even. Watson paid Dionne Louis, a manager of a salon (A New U Salon and Spa) $5000. Reports are she wanted 20k through text exchanges. Dionne then sent women from her spa out to meet Watson, even if they did not want to go. At least 3 of the 24 women accusing Watson worked for Louis' spa. The last woman to come forward was sent three times, and eventually quit. Basically go see a predator who paid me or get fired. This sounds like solicitation of a madame to me. Nothing to do with physical therapy or professional about it. No wonder it has taken some women a while to come forward, how humiliating of a situation to be put in. Your own boss basically tricking you out like a prostitute. I verified this in multiple articles. The Yahoo article below has the most detail. https://sports.yahoo.com/deshaun-watson-alleged-5-000-204522904.html

Is Joe Brady on the staff in case Ken Dorsey flubs it?
RocCityRoller replied to Utah John's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is my actual concern for a 1st year OC. I remember when we couldn't get good coaches to come to Buffalo. Now we have an embarrassment of riches! -

Jim Kelly on the all time passing list
RocCityRoller replied to Marlton Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Warren Moon has entered the chat. He played in the same era, and played until 44. (1978-1983 CFL, 1984-2000 NFL) Moon was a freak though. Most of the pre 2000 guys played up to 40 max. Stabler and Plunkett made it to 39, which was a feat in their era. Elway and Marino only made it to 38. I do think guys take being a pro more seriously, well those with very long careers. Anyone can Karlos Williams/ Kelvin Benjamin their way out of the league. -
Jim Kelly on the all time passing list
RocCityRoller replied to Marlton Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was Kelly and Thomas. The Bills were top 10, if not 5 in rushing all of those years, and Kelly could barely run. The passing stats were top 15 to top 10. To me Kelly was very good, not great. As Bills fans Kelly was great because he did things no QB did for the Bills before him, and honestly still hasn't done. Some may argue Kemp in another era. And true he won two AFL championships and went to 3 or 4 AFL Championship games in a row. But those Bills teams played great defense and also had a 1k back in Cookie Gilchrist. Defense and RB were not strong suites of the AFL. Right now for overall accomplishment, taking era into account: Jim Kelly Jack Kemp Josh Allen JA needs a few SB appearances to equal that out. -
Poll: Does Ryan Fitzpatrick Belong on the Bills Wall of Fame?
RocCityRoller replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mostly agree. Kyle, Moulds, Brown, Schobel all more worthy. What about Stevie Johnson? The two best WR I have seen in a Bills uniform were Andre Reed and Eric Moulds. Neither of them had back to back 1000 yard seasons much less 3 in a row. Stevie freaking Johnson had 3x1000 seasons in a row for awful Bills teams. Andre Reed was part era. Eric Moulds would be in the HOF with better QB play. A real stud player. Johnson was a 7th round pick on garbage teams and put up 3x1000 receiving seasons in a row. The only other WR I know of to have 2x1000 seasons in a row is Diggs. He has JA and was obtained using a 1st round pick. It's not even comparable. Stevie Johnson made Revis look silly, in his own division. Diggs should clear 1k this year and JOIN Stevie Johnson as the only Bills WRs with 3x1000. Perspective folks. -
Ryan Fitzpatrick: Hall of Famer? or First Ballot HoFer?

These threads hyping and over-inflating Ryan Fitzpatrick are going to give me an aneurysm. -

The wall isn't a popularity contest. OJ is on it. It is for excellence on the field as a Buffalo Bill. Some of you need to raise your standards IMO. Watch some games from prior eras, or other current teams to get some perspective. -
Most enjoyable backup QB career I've ever seen. A real personality, I hope he goes to the booth or studio.

Von Miller is Being Sued (UPDATE: CASE DISMISSED)
RocCityRoller replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is this settled criminally and in a civil sense? There are some early signs of disruption this off season. I am hopeful of the best. -
I appreciate how you ignored every other question I asked you. On the first question, this is your stance? You don't understand how this could happen? Here is the call: (Smart girl not hired) Watson's agent or Watson: "Hi I see your ad for private deep tissue massage. My client is a professional athlete who needs the services of a licensed massage therapist, do you do private onsite treatments?" Therapist: "Hi, yes I do, I am a licensed massage therapist in Texas, and am willing do private treatments." WA or W: "Good, we are looking for the whole package, a full massage." Therapist: "I have a professional location, or can meet a client onsite for discretion since he is a professional athlete." WA or W: "We need a discreet session, onsite." Therapist: "Ok, for an onsite massage I require a chaperone or a video recording of the session to document the treatment." WA or W: " I understand, why do you need that? Therapist: "Mostly for insurance and tax reasons." WA or W: "I see, what is your rate?" Therapist: "My rate is $100 per hour, I have many clients who will vouch for me." WA or W: "Ok very good, so you will come out, require a chaperone or a video recording, and charge my client $100 an hour?" Therapist: "Yes sir, when can I book your client?" WA or W: "We are shopping around at the moment, I'll get back to you later." Not that complicated. Not hired = no evidence. VS Here is the call: (Naive therapist) Watson's agent or Watson: "Hi I see your ad for private deep tissue massage. My client is a professional athlete who needs the services of a licensed massage therapist, do you do private onsite treatments?" Therapist: "Hi, yes I do, I am a licensed massage therapist in Texas, and am willing do private treatments." WA or W: "Good, we are looking for the whole package, a full massage." Therapist: "I have a professional location, or can meet a client onsite for discretion since he is a professional athlete." WA or W: "We need a discreet session, onsite" Therapist: "Ok, I understand, he is probably famous." WA or W: " He is, so this has to be private." Therapist: "I understand, I am willing to travel." WA or W: "Good, what is your rate?" Therapist: "My rate is $100 per hour, I have many clients who will vouch for me." WA or W: "Ok very good, so you will come out, be discreet, and charge $100 an hour?" Therapist: "Yes sir, that is correct, when can I book your client?" WA or W: "Next week on Tuesday." You don't see the difference?

I'm one of the last to 'believe all women' or '#metoo' for many reasons. But let's ask a few common sense questions. Apparently none of these 22-23 women did require a 3rd party or a recording since none exist. Watson only hired women who were not savvy enough to require that level of safety or documentation. That is the point. They put themself in a bad situation. That does not permit sexual misconduct, nor excuse it. If Watson denied hiring therapists who required documentation or a chaperone, that would look really bad in a Civil suit. Why not? What was expected? We don't know if that happened or not, but it should be a question that is asked. Who did Watson reject, when hiring these specific women and why? A question. Where are the male massage professionals? Why was no male hired? Are there no licensed male massage therapists in Houston? If this was a 'recovery treatment', and all supposed to be above board, why was a male never hired? Certainly a man could have done a stronger, deeper muscle relaxation if that is what was expected. Why didn't Watson hire any male therapists? Another Question: Why did Watson not use the Texans vetted and approved massage therapists, on the company premises? The therapy was offered at the facility free of charge, by vetted therapists, why not use it? Why did Watson need to go private and offsite? Another Question: If everything worked out well in a session, why didn't Watson continue to see the same therapist? Why was there no repeat business? If I am a licensed massage therapist, and I hook a professional athlete, I would keep that repeat business and advertise it. It is good pay, and is great advertising. "I am June Mayfield, licensed massage therapist for Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans." None of these women did that. Why not? Why did none of the women advertise or market their experience with Watson? So Watson only hired females, not in the Texans network, off Texans premises, who were naive enough to think this was a professional setting and require no backup or documentation, and had no repeat business with a superstar athlete.... This is your stance? Not predatory behavior at all in your eyes. 🤔

But was it practice tent bad? 😃 -
That is a level of proof needed for a criminal case, not a civil case. If a Professional asked for a 3rd party and it was denied, or a recorded session and was denied then one has to ask why? This situation and others will probably lead to more 3rd parties present or recordings required in the future.
-
Civil disagreement, I think we both have valid points. I can't disagree with the attitude problems with Murray or Mayfield. 100% correct. I think this situation in Cleveland will either turn the light on for Baker, or it never will. Jackson is head and shoulders the best leader of the bunch, but I worry how much I would have to adjust my offense and how long Jackson can sustain his play style. Guys like McNabb and Cunningham became better pocket passers over time and used their legs as needed. I think Josh Allen will fall into that category too (better). I'm not sure that is in Jackon's make up. He is fun to watch. Happily we don't have this issue!

Look at how many solid players we drafted in 2018 besides JA
RocCityRoller replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
1985 came right to mind for me too. Incredible draft. I always wonder what would have happened if Derrick Burroughs did not get injured and have to retire in Houston. Nate Odomes and Derrick Burroughs would have been a nice 1-2 CB combo for the Super Bowl runs. Attitude with Chris Burkett. Burkett (pick 46) and Reed (pick 86) were drafted to be weapons for Kelly and eventually replace Jerry Butler, who was an excellent WR, but was starting to age a bit (28 in 1985). Burkett scoffed at his use and playing time/ targets in Buffalo if I recall correctly, and ended up being traded to the Jets where his career crashed and burned. Burkett was becoming another very good weapon and the K Gun with Reed/ Lofton and Burkett would have been even more dangerous. A lot of what iffs in that draft on top of 2 HOF guys who earned Canton in Bills uniforms.
